I’ve just moved to the area and have been trying to find someone who knows how to do nails. I got a padicure today with regular polish and a dip manicure. My nails are all misshaped and they have bubbles all over them. My feet are even worse! They look like a blind man painted them. Most of the polish is on my toe, not the nail. I had a scheduled appointment on Sunday for a pedicure. My nail tech was Jenny. I’m so very dissapointed and upset. I usually see Amy, but was unable to get an appointment with her. Jenny was rough, I still have calluses on my feet, the polish job is horrible. I have polish on my toes! She tried several times to take her own fingernail around my toes to get polish off of the skin...but she wa wearing rubber gloves!! I will not go back to this salon. I had a gal that was very unprofessional. She cut my nails much shorter than requested, hurt my nails while filing down my dip polish to soak them by filing down to the nail- very painful, gave a sloppy and uneven nail job, and when some of the dip powder dried on my finger, she CLIPPED off instead of removing it with acetone or whatever, leaving a sore wound on my finger. I was in town for business and came Grand Nail Spa for a manicure and pedicure. The ladies did an excellent job. I was impressed with the attention to detail on the polish and how much time they spent nail. It's not a fancy place and I'll take the service and price over ambiance any day. One visit to Grand Nail Spa , and I can already tell I've found my new go-to! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for nail services in Colorado Springs. Grand Nail Spa is huge on the inside, but they staff it very well. The design is gorgeous, and cozy. When I first walked in for a shellac mani, I was worried I was going to have a wait because of how crowded it was. But instead I was greeted immediately, and I got to work helping me pick a color. I was able to describe what type of color I wanted and she found me 4 perfect examples and then helped me narrow it down. They work quickly, yet neatly. I had respect their job a lot! Absolutely horrible experience. The nail tech convinced me to get my eyebrows waxed and completely ripped off part of my eyebrow arch on my right eye. It will take months to grow it back out. Completely inexperienced. She offered a $5 discount and an apology and I got to my car and cried. DO NOT GET A WAX HERE!!!!!! The time before I wanted a shellac manicure and regular polish on my toes. She said they had the matching color and when I walked out my nails were pink and my toes were orange. Grand Nail is a great salon! The staff is friendly and professional who provide great service. There is no place that is comparable around the area. It is cozy, and clean, and my manicures really last. Sometimes I stretch it out to 2 to 3 weeks, on regular manicures. I highly recommend this place. Read Less

The cleanest nail salon I've been to in a long time. The owner and nail techs are super friendly. They have tons of colors and options. I rarely have to wait. The nail techs pay attention to detail. I usually get a gel manicure and they always make sure to not paint over the cuticle so you don't get that annoying hair snag. I had been looking for a place to get my nails done. Reviews were important to me because I've had bad experiences in the past. I finally chose SB Nails and I'm glad I did! Rosie is wonderful! I've been here a few times. One of the technicians is very good. I don't care for how they start talking to each other in their native language and I have no idea what they are talking about. It makes me very uncomfortable. I wish they were more consistent on how the pedicures are done. I don't get the chance very often to have a pedicure. I came here for a manicure and for a mani/pedi for my daughter. They have a cute area for the wee ones - two pedi chairs in a corner. They even brought out a dvd player for her to watch while her nails dried. This is why they're getting the two stars.I found myself wincing during the mani - the tech was rough and cut me slightly, but several times. I can't say I'm drop dead impressed, I can't say I was displeased, but I definitely am somewhere shifty in "in-between land". The salon is incredibly clean and looks inviting, the promptness in getting a pedicure/manicure without an appointment is fantastic (although, I do feel very bad that it seemed everyone who walked through the door was a walk-in with the expectation that they would not have to wait at all, especially when there were only so many estheticians). Everyone was incredibly nice and I enjoyed talking with Lily and the others far more than I've ever enjoyed talking to any of my pedicurists before (there was a sweetness and ease about her conversation that most no one else has). However, while my pedicure quality was above average, I was not blown away by bliss. My toes were cut and cleaned, my soles somewhat buffed (I've had better), and my nails nicely painted (although they started to chip a day or so later), but the massage was lacking. Lily spent her time moving her hands all over my feet and lower calves, but I never felt that sensation of stress and tightness ebb away like I expect from a pedicure massage. I will admit, the massage is a huge part of a pedicure for me. And this one just didn't hit all the right spots. That being said, SB Nails and Spa is well above average when I consider all the nail salons I've been to, and if it weren't for my hope that there is a place that will fulfill my pedicure fantasies, I would come back. I've been to other nail salons in the area and I like this one the best. I only get pedicures not my nails done so I cannot comment on the nail services. Ryan does an excellent pedicure and will work with what I want, such as buffing my toenails rather than applying polish. The salon is clean, bright and smells nice. I've never had anyone who works there be rude or obnoxious to me. Ryan never rushes or makes me feel like he needs to hurry to get to another client. I highly recommend SB Nails. Read Less
