My entire experience with Jenny Tuttle Hair in the Sola Salon Studios was completely disappointing. I went in after at least 5 years of not trusting stylists with my hair to just have a break and let someone else do it. With 3 little boys running around me I was so ready to just be out of the house! I had set up an appointment with Jennifer Tuttle and she was quick to respond to all of my emails prior to the time. I came in and showed her what i wanted and she began slapping the bleach in my hair little by little to achieve a balayage ombre effect. I was there for maybe an hour, hour and a half tops. She shampooed me and then dried my hair to style. No toner or anything and coming in with a ash brown hair I was surprised. When she started styling I told her I parted it in the middle and I watched her face drop. She saw what I couldn't and let me walk out of there with straight horizontal lines all over the back part of my head and down the sides. The color was that of a pumpkin and when I emailed her back the next day to show her the pictures and address my concerns she said it would not be a problem to fix it and that was the last I heard of her. No appointment was set up to fix the problem even though countless emails were sent out on my part. I ended up going to another stylist that had to end up cutting off 3 inches from the length because of the uneven cut I was given as well. Half of my hair was blonde and the other half was a highlight. Nothing was even at all. All in all I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I would have said stylist but the other stylist that was present kept telling me how beautiful it looked knowing full well it was a hack job. Thank you so much for the mommy break!!... Read Less

I drive all the way to Southlake (or wherever Nini is at) for my hair color needs.  Nini (Studio 2 inside Sola Salon Studios) is awesome--whether it's color correction to fix an existing do, highlights, or a new hair color.  She is young, but has plenty of experience working with Asian hair that once you tell her what you want you can just relax while she works her magic.  I had my hair highlighted and roots bleached with a different stylist. I ended up adding color to my roots.  After a few months my hair was brassy, orange, and I was tired of the harsh ombre look.  Nini kept my ombre look, but toned it down (sombre).  She did root touch up (to cover all my grays), low lights (to get rid of some of the orange and tone down the ombre contrast), balayage  highlights (to keep my roots more natural looking), and toning.  It turned out beautifully. I work at two of the Sola Locations and find it very new and refreshing in the salon industry. I absolutely love the attentiveness, cleanliness and promptness of the owners. No matter what beauty service you desire, these locations cover the entire spectrum. The Southlake location has an incredible lash extensionist named C.C. and Robin at the Highland Village location. I expertly do the permanent cosmetics/paramedical tattooing in conjunction with RSR Medical who specializes in injectibles and medical skin care. Sola Salons is truly an all encompassing facility.
