This salon is great! The quality and customer service is very hard to beat. I’ve been going here about a year now and I don’t go anywhere else when I get my nails done. In my 20 plus years of having my nails done, this place is by far the best I’ve ever experienced. Everyone is friendly, professional & very talented. It doesn’t matter who does my nails, they are always perfect. (And I’m quite picky) They run a tight ship & make sure all details are covered. It’s very clean, has lots of chairs, private rooms if you come in with a group of friends & even have a “bartender” to make sure you get a quality cocktail, on time, & your glass is always full. This place might have been great before they expanded but now they herd everyone through like cattle. We had to wait 45 min AFTER our appointment time. My daughter and i both got dipped nails and they couldn't have gotten through with us any faster. She filed my nails VERY roughly- she cut me at one point. She used the biggest file she had which was very painful because she was going so fast. The end result- my nails are rough to the touch and not all even. The surface of my nails is gritty since she went so fast. My daughter's nails were thin at the tips and you could see her tip through the polish. No massage whatsoever......that was the most non- pampering manicure I've ever had. We've been there before but gave them the benefit of doubt because we wanted to like the place and wanted it to be great. I’ve always had a great experience here and not only me but my whole family goes here. We have been going for the longest time. Was more than put off when today they completely forgot about my nails that were supposed to be done while my pedicure was being done. They managed to completely forget about my nails. When I said something about it they asked if I still wanted them done. My whole family was already done with their appointments. So no I’m not going to get them done now and make everyone wait on me. I told the manager up front as he initially tried to charge me for the service. He could have cared less. The reason we went here was because of the great quality and customer service. I have been going to Park Village Nails in Southlake for quite sometime now. I really love it, and my nails always last long but I have some complaints... My complaints, however, are that I am a regular and I am there about every 3 or 4 weeks. I have made 4 appointments and when I go in the same thing happens EVERY TIME. Situation 1: I requested an eyebrow appointment, they said they can't schedule eyebrow wax appointments. I got to the location, waited 45 minutes and they sa...id "next time make an appointment!" So I politely told them what I was told by the receptionist. Situation 2: I scheduled an appointment with my regular girl. When I showed up they said "Oh ___ doesn't work on Mondays." So...ummm...why did you say I could schedule an appointment with her, then proceed with schedule the appointment?" Situation 3: I scheduled an appointment with a new girl that I had as a result of Situation 2 who I liked, and when I got there I waited over an hour for her... Situation 4: On Thursday I made an appointment with someone new that I had had prior. I showed up Friday and they said "Oh ___ is out for the next few months. She's pregnant and not feeling good." So I responded with "When did you find that out?" The guy manager said "We found out last week." So I said "Well, if you knew that, then why did they let me schedule an appointment with her?" So he said "Some of our receptionists are new and they don't know the schedules yet of everyone." I told them "Well y'all need to communicate somehow or get a new system because this is the fourth time this has happened." They sat me down at an empty spot and the manager, Kelly, came over and said "we are going to get you someone really good. Everyone is good, but she is really good." So they gave me Tu, and she really was fantastic. But that still left me frustrated as they make little effort to make things right. Dislikes: - After all these incidents, NOT ONCE did they offer to comp my payment. If I had made a scene then maybe they would have, but I chose to respond nicely in all those situations. But that is something I am very upset over. - The front desk girls are very unprofessional and honestly a little obnoxious. They look at their phones while I'm just standing there waiting to check out, talk so loud, and are very dramatic. Why Do I Go Back? - My husband keeps asking why I go back. I love the music they play, I love the people, my nails last 3-4 weeks, they have a wide color selection, and I like how big it is. First visit to Park Village Nails this afternoon. I was greeted the minute I walked in the door and seated at a manicure table within a few minutes, even though I was about 10 minutes early. An older gentleman brought me an icy-cold glass of white wine to sip while I waited. My nail tech, Tracy, arrived on the dot of my appointment time, and we spent a few minutes talking about what I wanted. Tracy suggested that I try the dipped nails instead of the pink and white acrylics that I’d been wearing so on her advice I decided to try the dipped. Tracy did a beautiful job and she was right — the dipped are so much thinner and cleaner looking than my acrylics were. I booked my next appointment before I left. Normally I don't try new nail places when I travel, but my dip on my nails chipped as soon as I landed in Dallas. My friend, I was staying with, suggested we go to this salon to get it fixed/get a new color put it on. It has great reviews so I figured why not right? WRONG. This lady, who I'm not putting on blast on social media, did the worst dip manicure I have ever had. After she removed my previous dip, she didn't clean my nails/hands off so there are specks in my new di...p. Also I don't know if it was how she filed them or what but she literally split my cuticle down the side of my nail and made it bleed. I'm really hoping it doesn't get infected at this point. She also legit took forever doing my nails. I'm fine with someone taking their time as long as they do a good job, but my nails look like literal . I have never had a manicure this bad in my life. First time visiting park village and it was amazing! I was greeted the minute I walked in. In all of the salons I have been to, I have never seen the equipment/ chairs etx being cleaned off after each guest leaves .very clean ! I had Annie and TAMMY and they were top notch ! Luckily, the woman that ended up doing my nails was quick, efficient, and talented. That is the saving grace of this review. However, I had an appointment that I made days prior and when I arrived, was given absolutely no direction on where to go or what to do. It was my first time and nobody said what I was waiting for or what to do meanwhile. About 10 minutes later they put me in a seat where I continued to wait. 25 minutes later, I spoke up and the employees responded with glares and glances amongst themselves. I am a working professional and don't have all day to sit around and wait for them. I had an appointment that I expected to be honored. Anyway... don't bother making an appointment. The woman that did my nails said sorry but her reason was that she didn't know I was there and therefore continued to socialize with her previous client. So obviously poor communication amongst the employees. I had a gift card and will only be going back to use up the rest of the money on that gift card. After that I will not be returning. The pedicures are terrible. First of all they sanded you heels too much I have 2 blisters. When she polished my nails, they didn't polish the whole ail bed. They skipped some. My heel felt ruff. Great location, at least 15 pedicure tubs, along with adult drinks... I can clearly see why this place is popular! I went on a Thursday morning at 10 and even though there were probably 15-20 other people getting services, I got in right away. I chose the cucumber pedicure for the scent but each pedicure comes with hot stone massages included. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star rating is that the pedicurist did not look at my service ticket thoroughly and failed to give me the 10 minutes reflexology on my feet I had requested. Not a big deal at the end of the day and I wasn't charged for the reflexology service, but I would have paid the extra $10 for it. Great receptionist and management from what I could tell. Read Less

This nail salon definitely makes you feel like you're being pampered! The decor is upscale and it's always very busy. You fill out the menu sheet with what types of services you want. Never seen other salons do this before but I can tell it's helpful in keeping track of all the customers that come through since it's always so busy. Since they offer beverages, you can also note what you want to drink on the sheet. Kammie was my nail tech and she did a wonderful job. She worked quickly yet she did a great job with my ombré Nexgen nails.  She even suggested adding a little glitter on top and it made it look even better. She has an eye for perfection. This place was packed on weekday in the middle of the afternoon, impressive. I got a gel manicure and they did as good of a job you can do with that! It lasted about 2 weeks. I was served a complimentary sangria and the staff was nice. My sister and I were booked to do a side my side manicure. I like the way they conduct their business with the paper sheets, they have a system,I respect that, makes sense why they have so many people in there. It's a little pricier than other salons, but I enjoyed the atmosphere and reassurance of their quality of work with what seems to be a pretty solid clientele. Why I gave them a 5: My sister had previous gel nails on that they had to remove, the girls soaked them off and after looking over my sisters nails suggested she just go with a natural paint and no more gel for a while as the gel had done some damage to her natural nail. I respect that they didn't just do what she "thought" she wanted. A lot of other places would have gone along with the service to make a few more bucks, but not this place, they really urged her to give her nails a break and just get a nice polish. Not too often do you come across a salon that is actually concerned with keeping your natural nails healthy. This is one of the reasons why I love this place. They don't try to upsell you on a bunch of unnecessary services. The last two times I've stopped by, I was a walk-in and just let whoever do my nails and I was pleased both times! I'm picky about my eyebrows, so I'll have to stick to my regular place for that piece, but I love to get my nails done here before I head back home after work. Read Less

Before I get into this rating, I want to preface by saying this is about my experience alone. My best friend attends this salon once a month for her gel manicure and the lady she sees, Lisa, is excellent.Now, about my experience. I was with the same best friend and her mother and we made an APPOINTMENT for 11am. All three of us as a group. As it turns out, there is absolutely no point in making an appointment because we were seated 1t minutes late, and not as a group. All in all, not a totally big deal, but still agitating considering they give the option for group appointments.From there, things just rolled down hill faster. My best friend told her nail tech AT LEAST 3 times that her water was cold. Surely the tech changed it, right? Nope! Her feet were dunked in cold water for the entire "appointment". Next came my nail tech. I wish I got her name, but unfortunately, I did not. I remember she was older with short, curly hair and possibly part of management. She came out to start my pedicure and did not say a single word to me. Sure. Fine. Whatever. Almost immediately I could tell this would not be pleasurable. As she was cutting around my nails, she was digging into the sides rather painfully and almost rushing to be done. As a part of the basic pedicure, it advertises a 10  minute massage, however, it was more of a couple minute massage, which as it turns out, was a favor to me. I left with BRUISES on my legs from her complete and utter lack of care and inability to do her job correctly. My ankles still hurt after that! At the end, my best friend said to me the Wal-Mart salon is 100% better for pedicures.  Considering this is supposed to be a "luxury salon," that is NOT a comment that should be made after paying for those services.I would probably try again for a manicure, and only with Lisa, but DEFINITELY not for anyone else or for a pedicure.
