I rarely pamper myself with a mani/pedi, but I'm going on a special date and wanted to feel glamorous. After reading reviews I stopped in on a Thursday around 6pm. I was able to get served immediately. The staff were extremely friendly and I did not feel rushed at any point in time. This was a very calm environment, with quiet voices and a slower but efficient pace than your average nail salon. I splurged and got the mango pedi treatment. It was AMAZING!!! Best pedicure I have ever had!  I chose the sun-kissed Pedi for $45... It did not disappoint! The tray had oil, lotions, and even fresh oranges that were squirted on my legs and rubbed in. My feet felt amazing afterwards, too, and, since I am on my feet all the time, it was a big deal. Included was a heated neck pillow, hot stone massage, and neck massage.  Andy did my pink and white set and my nails look fantastic!  I highly recommend this salon. I've been coming here for over a year now after leaving places that are too commercialized and interested in quick turn around. This is a family run business that strives to provide quality services. They care about their work product. The atmosphere is peaceful and friendly. The others reviews are right on point about this place. I live around Alliance, but I was in the neighborhood and decided to pay Ida's a visit. Kathy was my nail tech and she simply is a lovely soul with magic hands! It's definitely worth the drive for just her foot massage, which comes with the pedi. You will feel like a bowl of jello after she is done working on you. As I am a weightlifter, she gladly applied Medium-Firm pressure. In addition, she is pretty meticulous and takes pride in her work. My pedi came out beautifully. I was more than pleased with the service here and will come back again. Update: my second time coming here and this place hands down is the best nail place in the West of Mid-Cities area. Best pedi ever!  I chose the cucumber deluxe pedi--$45.  Well worth it!  Thao did a fabulous job.  It was the most relaxing pedicure I think I have ever had.  It was quiet there with "spa" type music in the back ground. Atmosphere was great staff extremely nice VERY relaxing and the foot massage with the pedicure was amazing! My friend had a mani pedi I had full set and pedi, her mani was awesome, four stars comes from my full set. Needed natural looking nails they were extremely pink when finished he did polish with neutral color to try to help the situation. He also seemed genuinely sorry and gave me a discount as a result. LV is the best!!! This place is great we came in late (which is terrible that we did that but we didn't realize what time they closed at) and they stayed open for us! LV gave an amazing massage and set a timer so that I knew I got the full amount of time. She has great hands and a bubbly personality. I will definitely be coming back to see her again soon! I've done a much better job painting my own nails at home. I was there for 2 and a half hours and a good portion of that time was spent waiting around. My fingers are super patchy and streaky and when the nail technician messed up my nail at the very end they patted over it and added more clear coat creating a bigger dent and lots of little bubbles. I love coming here. It's never busy (I go after work on Monday's or Tuesday's). The owner Andy and his wife Cindy are so nice, they even remember my name. Andy did my full set. I never get a full set, usually just shellac, but my nails broke due to not getting a manicure for a couple of weeks. He really took the time to do my set, and the result was awesome. He also custom made the color I got by mixing white pearl and light pink. I am very particular with getting a full set done as a lot of people tend to do them really thick and don't even care about the under nails (they leave really thick uneven fills underneath), but not Andy. He was meticulous and made sure I'm good with the shape, color, and thin- ness of my nails. This is my regular salon now - everyone is friendly, prices are competitive, and quality is top notch! Fabulous pedicure. The people here really know how to make their customers happy. It's relaxing and cozy inside. I chose the "sun-kissed" pedi which was brought out on a beautiful tray with fresh flowers. It was a variety of citrus scrubs, oils, and lotion. This was the best pedi I have ever gotten. They really take their time to make sure your feet are massaged, nails are perfect, and even gave me a shoulder massage.
