I absolutely loved my experience! I am a curly headed girl and for some time I did some damage to my hair but consistently straighten it and not caring for the consequences. I woke up one morning tired of seeing my dead ends and my hair being life less, I have never gotten a haircut in my whole 20 years I always "trimmed" my hair clearly not knowing what I am doing. I gave them a call set my appointment and I was really nervous but Ms. Gloria SLAYED my hair, she was so sweet... she never made me feel uneasy and I let her take the wheel. I had box dye black hair for years, I have had stylist try to break that color out and never were successful. I would go 3 times to get it bleached and never see anyone be able to lift it normally by the 3 rd bleaching id get frustrated and just dye my hair dark again and stop trying. Well this year I decided to give it another go, my hair was black again and I really wanted blonde for summer. Not really having a whole lot of confidence from past experience I went ahead and booked an appointment here. Honestly I was amazed w the results , Hailey the stylist was able to break through my black hair and give me an ashy blonde color without severely damaging my hair. My hair is blonde now and it feels healthy. Hailey was able to do something that several other stylist failed to do. I will defiantly be a loyal customer to this salon as long as Hailey there. Do NOT go here if you have curly hair. I found a stylist on the Deva Curls website and made an appointment with her about a year ago. I don't remember her name, but she charged me $100 to completely ruin my hair. She did everything I asked her not to do, and didn't tell me until after. I recently got my hair cut at another salon and this stylist was able to, without me prompting, tell me exactly what the stylist at Beauty Brands did to my hair and how it was horribly wrong for my type of curls. I am giving this review three stars because I did easily get a refund of the money I paid.Managment is good and understanding here.I had a cut done here by Patricia. I went to her because of a good review on google and on her instagram she seemed to have done the cut I wanted before. I went in wanting an symetrical angled swing bob with a little bangs. she did good with the shampooing. When it got to her drying and combing out my hair it was horrible. She was making me cry with how rough she was with my hair and she was being completely careless. she then proceeded to texturize and style my hair. she was very friendly and styled it very cute in curls.when I styled my hair the next day like normally do... to my horror I realized that the styling she had done covered all the inperfections to my hair cut.one side of my hair cut is significantly longer than on the other side of my head. there was no transition of angle on the angled bob. she went really short on it too.. cutting off most if my hair. my bangs was just a chunk of hair clipped. it looks like I cut my own hair. it was bad... also  also the layering in my hair was just screwed up.I realize now that she was in a hurry because someone was waiting for her to go after me... but it gives no excuse for someone to go home with their hair looking like this. on the positive side , Management refunded me in full and I will be getting it fixed by another stylist. Nearly every time I go into this store I experience terrible customer service. Workers actively ignore customers wandering around lost or unable to find something. I came in once looking to blow a paycheck on a whole set of brushes, a new eyeshadow palette, and tons of primer and lip shades. End up just walking out. The customer service is awful...very rude to us when we were buying items from there...FROM THEIR BUSINESS. The employees were uneducated on top brand names' products!!! HOW?! Also, they were rude when we asked if we could have the samples from their catalog that we were supposed to receive, which for those out there, do not dare to ask, or you will will get backlashed with a rude snark and attitude. I got my makeup done for prom!! They have a purchase minimum of $60 w makeup application but it was so worth it because I was able to buy the lipstick, mascara, and eyelashes she used... Danielle did my makeup and she was wonderful!! Would definitely recommend to anyone!!! Read Less

Went in for a blowout. The stylist Christopher was not only late for the appointment but reeked of cigarette smoke. Unpleasant to say the least. Not a good blowout. My hair was frizzy at the ends and didn't look at all like I usually get. I think the price was $45. Ridiculous for a simple blowout. Read Less

I went here for a haircut a couple weeks ago and what a waste of money and time. The stylist acted like she knew what I was talking about at first but as she started cutting my hair, i could tell she had no idea what she was doing, I still kept on explaining to her what I wanted(since I was already there and would be paying anyway, i tried to make myself clear to her repeatedly) .In the end when she flat ironed my hair and set it in a way that the ends of my hair flipped in(this probably hid all the imperfections in cut), it looked fine  but when I washed my hair, I could see all the uneven hair and poor cut. I went in for an A-lined   bob and that's not what my hair looks like at all.It looked pretty much like I just took a pair of scissors and chopped them off myself randomly. Oh! and she took around 2.5 hours to cut my hair and deep condition it.My stylist was Gloria,apparently a master stylist...I don't think so!! What a waste of $65 for ruining my hair:@. I used to love this store for beauty shopping but after this experience I do not even want to go back.Beauty brands should make sure of the skills of their stylists before advertising them as "Master Stylist"  . I absolutely love it here! I am a little saddened that they don't have urban decay or Lancôme, but I still love it! Tiana helped me find the perfect shade of lipstick & now I feel so FIERCE in it! She spent a good amount of time with me, trying on different shades until we found one that I loved. After I purchased it, I wore it for the first time & loved it even more! This is beauty swag mania! If you need a pick me up in your day swing by here to check out their wonderful hair and beauty care products. I love the Philosophy brand and they have every lotion, body spray and shower gel imaginable. You seriously could spend hours in here just looking at all of the products. The ladies who work here were so very helpful and helped me with my selections. Each hair care product has a mini review under the description which is so helpful too! I came out of here with some great shampoo and the lady at the counter even gave me a macadamia conditioner for free to take home and try! I love it! The only great thing about this store is Nikki the front desk scheduler, Amber the hair stylist, and Tiana the makeup artist.
