Disappointed. I used to come here every couple of weeks when I lived closer. $45 for a 30 min pedicure is ridiculous. No massage really, the paint job left a lot to be desired and it was kind of dirty sad that a place that used to be the best around has gone downhill like this. Read Less

They usually always do a great job and are pretty good at getting u in quickly. The employees are all really nice and try to help you with whatever it is u might need. The salon is always clean and well taken care of and is kind of a relaxing place to go for a manicure or pedicure or whatever u need done. The prices are pretty reasonable and affordable. I don't think I've ever left there unhappy or not satisfied with the job they had done. And I'm sure if for some reason u weren't 100% satisfied that they would do whatever they could to fix it for u or try to compensate u or make it right with u somehow, so that u are happy with their service. Wow! Sorry place for nails. First off they're rude. Then Kim who did my mani and pedicure doesn't know how to do either of them. My 5 year old paints my nails better than she did. I asked her to remove the polish and she was so stingy with the cotton that when I left the polish was all over my fingers. It was awful and expensive. How do they stay in business? Read Less

When you post on Social Media that you are offering 50% off all services till the end of 2017, you should honor that even if you stopped this promotion 2 weeks ago at this location!!!! It was absolutely ridiculous and the manager wasn’t there conveniently to do anything!!!! I️ have dealt with a lot of rude & inconsiderate folks throughout my 37 years of life, but I️ have never been as appalled at the way some women can act towards others until this morning while getting a mani/pedi. I️ have been going to Solar Nails in the Town Center for several years. They know me by name, as I️ do them. The staff nor owner have never treated me with disrespect & have ALWAYS taken care of me. Yes, they had a promotion for 50% off for the rest of the year, but ...had to end the sale at one location due to the owner of the complex & other businesses complaining of over-crowdedness. Today, I️ have watched women intentionally come in knowing that the sale has ended & waited until their services were over to complain & demand that the sale be honored. Grown women throwing a fit. went to the location by academy and i refuse to go back. i had acrylic done and the lady was way too rough, she cut my fingers multiple times. half of my nails were crooked, they went off to the side. on about 3 of my fingers the acrylic didn’t even go close to my cuticle, i told her that and she still didn’t fix it. then on two other fingers half of my real nails were showing on the side bc she didn’t put any acrylic there. they were done incredibly too thick. and i’m pretty... sure i had more acrylic on my skin then i did on my nails. when i told the manager he kinda just pushed me to the side and was like “i’m not worried about it, talk to her.” her being the lady who did my nails. i asked her to just take them off and i would go somewhere else. she then rolled her eyes at me and told me to go sit down and she would be right there. she came back with nails clippers and basically ripped the tips off and then brought me some stuff to soak my nails off with. i sat there for 30 minutes and she came over there once and tried ripping the rest of the nails off and i told her that it hurt and asked her to stop. she then slammed my hand back in the stuff to soak off the rest of my nails. i was tired of waiting on her so i just left. i will not go back. I am upset, the first time I came was great and Nikki did my nails and I loved them they were absolutely perfect and I had my gel nails done and toes painted and my daughters nails painted amd I paid 33$ for everything half off price so I made an appointment for thursday at 5:45pm the next time and the lady that did my toes did amazing then the older woman who did my nails failed, I was there til past close like 7:05pm and left upset cause they already looked like needed to b...e redone, she didn't get my last nails off completely before trying to put more on and you could see under them, inbetween my nails and the fake nails which is ridiculous & I had to use nail polish remover to get powder stuff off around my nails as soon as I got home and got charged 30$, like really 3$ different to get my daughters done to?? Well I went there Saturday and I feel as if they are really rushing and not good quality at all they are shaped all different and crooked I was very excited about the special but unfortunately even with a appointment I set mine for 2pm and the problem is rushing way to fast and not paying attention to quality at all. The short lady with short hair at the register demanded a tip for toes and nails and she is telling everyone to give a tip if it was of quality a tip would be a garentee but to have such terrible nails makes you feel as if it is not worth the deal at all. I just left and I'm a little upset.... I understand that y'all are busy but you completely rushed through my nails they are not shaped and they are rough on the edges...and the pedicure the girl that did it kept getting up and going to talk to someone. Giving them one star is giving a lot !! Took them over two hours to do dip on my cousins natural nails ! And they looked so bad when she was finished bumps/dips all in them ! I got acrylic dip started off good to then the couldn't do what they told me they could do ended up not getting what I wanted my nails looked better than my cousins, but 4days later and two have broken off ! This place is not good and it is very expensive! The lady who did my next gen filed my nails at an angle in so that my nails are narrower on top. She also did them very square with sharp corners even though I asked her fora round, natural look. Basically, I wanted the shape they already were when I came in! When I complained, she said that the problem was the shape of my nails and that she had to file them that way. Well I have never had this issue at any other place! They look horrible and I will have to wait until they grow out to get a normal shape back. The lady who did my pedicure left my nails completely jagged!? For years, probably 8 or so, this has been the only nail salon in the area that I went to. The owner was always very welcoming and so friendly to visit with. Its actually hard writing this because I like him so much, but given that this is probably the third or fourth time lately that I've come and he hasn't been here it's safe to say things have changed. I had hoped it was only going to be a one time thing, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be the case. Used to you would get top notch customer service with awesome pedicures. I always get the highest package which should include a 35 minute massage. Today, and this is not the first time it's happened, my massage didn't even reach 20 minutes and I will pay $65 for that. They aren't even busy so it's not like she had someone else to get to. I timed it from when she started and stopped it when she did. I was shocked. I should have left when I saw the owner wasn't here. Now, due to the pattern of pour attention to the quality of pedicures I'm receiving, I won't be back. My next gen nails are ok, but my manicurist paid more attention to her phone than my nails. I hope I'm the only one this happens to, but based on recent reviews it looks like it's a new pattern. These ladies do excellent work! They did not rush through my pedicure and when they were finished, it looked great! All sides of my nails were done, no areas with missing or sloppy paint. Been here a few times when shopping in the area. It's hit or miss with the staff. Once had a very sweet lady that scrubbed my legs raw, burned me with the towels, but was trying so hard I couldn't bear to tell her she was just terrible. Very expensive. I've tried with this place. I just can't do it again. This was probably my 5th time here. These people are rude.  They act like you are a nuisance.They sold me on the NexGen Nails. I kept trying to ask questions and was told over and over they are better for your nails. How are they better? They are not smooth they feel lumpy. The shape is not what I wanted but I was exhausted by the whole experience. I was then told by the girl doing my feet they need to take off my dead skin. Duh of course. What I didn't know is that it was 10.00 more. My feet do not have excessive dead skin. When you speak to the girls working there they will answer you then turn to each other and speak in a different language. While I know this is common, coupled with the poor treatment of the staff it comes across as horribly rude. Read Less
