After trying almost every single nail salon within a 35-mile radius, I finally decided to stop in to Estée Nail Salon on a lazy Thursday. Blackout shades are drawn in all the windows, making the place look sketchy, but it's a nail salon. It can't be all that bad, right? My sister and I arrived around 1:30pm for mani/pedi duos and were immediately seated in pedicure chairs toward the middle of the salon. We brought our own polish, asked for their mid-level pedicure (which included a hot stone massage) and a basic manicure. Almost two hours later, I walked out with a splotchy polish job on my toes and several bruises on my left leg. Now that I'm reading the previous reviews, I'm led to believe that Mary S. and I had the same nail technician. I'm all for a good massage (I'm a runner and anything to soothe my tired legs gets two thumbs up in my book). However, this lady absolutely killed my leg. To this day, almost a week later, it hurts to shave my leg... yes, just lightly running a razor over the bruised area is painful. I should have stopped her, but anyone who has gone into a nail salon knows the foreign chatter that will inevitably follow if you ask for something different or complain about your service. So, naturally, I took my lumps (literally) and went on my way. Lesson learned. I won't be returning to Estée! Read Less

Hang on to your bank cards ladies. Walk away before you get took like my daughter, her friend and myself. I got a full set of nails. Let's say I can paint better than what I got for $55.00. The lady that did my daughter pedicure just helped herself and picked out which one she want. Never ask my daughter. My daughter didn't know there was different types of pedicure. She also got nexgen on her own nails. So $35 for pedicure and $40 for her nails. Yes I said 40 for her own nails . Her friend got a full set of nails & they charged her $40.00. Then beg for a tip when your checking out they want let you write the tip down they want to run your card for the tip. "How much you tip" over & over & over again. Absolutely the worst pedicure ever! They charged me for a deluxe and didn't do the hot rocks. When I questioned it, the lady became rude and defensive. They basically up charged me and didn't do the full services of the $40 pedi. Horrible. Read Less

PAIN! I decided to try this place based on a friends recommendation since my normal didnt have any openings. I have had my nails done more times than I could count all the exact same request and I have NEVER had them hurt afterward like this. ALL of my nails hurt and not just around the edges from the stupid drill they use but the actual nail hurts... i cant even figure out why. On top of that almost everyone one of them are uneven. Not pleased at all. That being said the lady was very nice, friendly but not overly nosey like i have found some to be and I could understand her which is one of my biggest gripes about going to most nail places. Not very impressed with this salon, i made an appointment for today bc my salon Natural Nails in sherman(they do very very good work!!!). So i had an appointment at 415 and didn't get seen until almost 430, everything started off good.. the time she took to make my acrylic look nice and the way she shaped them was good. But that changed when she started to use the electric file she was very rough and cute almost every one of my hands, when she stated the polish she was very quick and rushed through it..and then with the top line i asked for she didnt do a very good job, its more of a straight line rather than a curved... she put the top coat on and then i asked when they would be dry and she said about 5 minutes..wrong ! It took almost 15 minutes to dry and by that time im already ready to leave. When i get to the register she says its $32 not $25 like someone told me over the phone.. so i asked her why its $32 and she said its $25 for the regular acrylic and the main color (which i brought my own polish) then it was $7 for the line which is only a few centimeters. I was not very happy with the way she talked to to when i was Asking her why it was so much. I didn't like this place.. definitely not coming back!! Read Less

I've never had my nails done so I don't know how good they are in that department but their pedicures are great!! They've always been very nice to me and do an amazing job! We moved here a year ago and I tried several places before coming here and they have done the best by far!! Read Less

The offer of Massage here is a farce. It was devoid of any actual massage technique. It was actually painful, as if a nail technician was told to try giving a massage for the first time, with no idea what she was doing. A kitchen timer was ticking the whole time and the music was the opposite of relaxing. Don't waste your money. Read Less

Being rather far from home (Fort Worth) I gave this place a try on my lunch break.A 45$ basic manicure with gel polish took just over 1 hour not including previous polish removal. They squeezed me in so I had a total of 3 different techs working on me. Never did they use any lotion- so my nails look great but my hands are dry after soaking for so long. The best part was during my polish application when the tiniest woman gave me a wonderful neck and shoulder massage. For such a wee little lady she had STRONG hands! She almost put me to sleep.I still prefer my salon in Fort Worth but this was great for a relaxing lunch. Read Less
