We usually order the catfish plates for carry-out on Fridays as a family semi-tradition. We order on the phone and pick up is relatively painless. Recently their menu changed, though, and instead of telling me HOW the catfish plate was different, the person on the phone sighed and told me to hang up and look at the picture on the website. There was no picture on the website. We ordered the plates anyway and they were very good. One star off just because of the person's attitude+wrong info given. This is a good idea for the area. This location has good atmosphere and is a place to relax without getting into the bar scene type of visit. Main reason for the 4 star rate is the seating is very tight and crowded. Makes it hard to really enjoy your food or just to visit. The inside seating can get noisy but the patio is great. We’ve been going here off and on for about three years. While some of their stuff hasn’t been the best (my husband had their brisket plates on two separate occasions and it did not sit well), the staff is very kind and it’s a very comfortable place to grab a bite and just hang out. My kids love their sliders and I love their Baja tacos (shrimp). There’s usually a live band on the weekends and there are nights when kids eat free. All in all - not too bad! Read Less

We've eaten here several times. My favorite is the grilled chicken sandwich with Comeback sauce!  The sauce has chipotle in it. The chicken is seasoned just right and the bun is more like a homemade yeast roll. So good. We love their large portions of sweet potato fries. The Mediterranean salad is huge, enough for 2 men or 3 women, and it's super tasty!  Lots of feta and very fresh veggies!  The Brussel sprouts appetizer was so yummy!  The sauce kinda caramelized.  My fiancé has eaten the brisket potato. It's huge!  Very good!  My daughter had a specialty drink, some sort of pink margarita. She liked it a lot! She had avocado tacos and loved it. Food and service is good and a nice selection of local beers. Only disappointment was ordering Thanksgiving from them. It was a logistical nightmare. Incorrect items put in package, cold food, deviled eggs terrible. Had set time to pick food up and had to wait over an hour for. This place is awesome. The menu is fantastic. Everything you order is good. There's crispy Brussels sprouts for appetizers as well as fried pickles and nachos to name a few. For lunch/dinner there's burgers, salmon, salads, tacos, etc. They also have seasonal dishes. We've been here a few times and it hasn't disappointed us yet! Food is fresh, selection is great, and while it may seem minor, I love their napkins . Staff has always been cordial and attentive. Came with my boyfriends family her to try the brisket and potato salad. The restaurant was well kept and clean and had really friendly staff. When i order the moist brisket, i also got a side of potato salad and it came with a side of pickles, onions, two slices of bread, and bar-b-q sauce. I wasn't aware when i got it that it meant that there was some fat on the brisk and I'm not too fond of fat on any meats i eat. I will say i liked how the brisket was easy to pull apart and the bar-b-q sauce wasn't a vinegar base and I'm absolutely happy about that. However, I wasn't too crazy about the brisket only because of the fattiness on it. I know now next time i visit to try the lean brisket instead of the moist because it was all meat and no fat. The potato had a kick to it and it tasted like there was either a lot of black pepper or cayenne pepper on it. Either way it was a little too much for my liking. This place is so friendly! We love coming here after work every once in a while to have a beer or two and their loaded bacon fries of course! Delish! We already have a couple of favorite workers here, he remembered us and it made us feel good. :) The lady working now seems kind of rude though, she seems kind of bored and monotone. 3 Double O Nine restaurant is a nice addition to HEB. We go there after buying groceries. They have a great variety of dishes ranging from burgers to salads. They offer wine and beer and have a different band playing live music. Outdoor seating is the best. Read Less

I pretty much have a crush on this restaurant at my local HEB Plus. Coming here makes me feel fancy as heck whenever I roll in with my HEB reusable bag full of discount items. There are so many things to choose from whether it'd be a classic burger, traditional Sunday brunch, Korean fried chicken, or Texas BBQ. There are also monthly themed specialty items that usually align with what is being promoted at HEB the most recent being a variety of burgers).And the food? Good as hell. My dad is a BBQ snob as most Dads are and is loco for their brisket. They have a burger with brisket and bleu cheese and dang, talk about a party in my mouth. They also have a massive baked potato topped with brisket. So if you catch the theme here, I'm saying to give their brisket a whirl and see if it tickles your pickle as much as it tickles my family's.What charms me about this place is the live music. They bring in local talent to play in the evening and during brunch on their outside covered patio. It's crazy to me that I can literally drive 10 minutes on a Sunday in stained sweatpants and house shoes (proper grocery store attire haha), order some brisket eggs Benedict to go, and wait outside in the patio to listen to some live smooth jazz.
