I went to get my nails painted with shellac on Monday and they were already chipping by Thursday so I called to get an appointment and tell them that I would like them to fix them because it should last 2 weeks or more and they said okay and then I get there they fix them, the girl that is painting my nails is really nice and doing a great job but barely uses any nail polish it was like they were going to run out or something. That wasn't even the worst part the worst part is I go to leave and they told me that I had to pay. If I just got my nails painted from you 3 days before and the nail polish that you painted my nails with is already chipping and coming off of my nails that is not my fault! I liked this place up until that it just goes to show that they need to work on customer service and quality of the product. I could understand if it was already a week or two weeks and then it started chipping or if I had a job that made my nails disgusting but I don't and it was 3 days and then I was expected to pay for them again, ridiculous

My regular nail tech stopped working here about 3 months ago and it’s gone down hill since. Yesterday was probably the last time I’ll go. This started weirding me out during my pedicure. The tech romiced my polish, upon Removing my polish I noticed discoloration to one of my toenails, I’m pretty sure i have toe nail fungus after doing some googling, but she still worked on my feet. Things got increasingly weird when she tried to use cuticle nippers to cut off a cycst on my foot??? It hurt extremely bad and she looked at me like i was crazy when i told her no. Pedicure water was cold and i never saw anyone clean the foot soaker afterwards.... I’ve also noticed they don’t use sanitized tools. I’m used to techs opening up sanatized packs of tools, they reuse tools. I saw the lady put the tools she used on me right back into the drawer she pulled them from originally.
Manicure time. The salons gotten increasingly messy, behind the nail techs there’s a lot of clutter and mess, which is strange cause they’re never busy when i go in. The tech was so rough with me my fingers hurt today. I have a cut cutical and she filed the sides of my nails so intense my skin is raw at the base of all my nails. Acted offended when i said it hurt. The atmosphere sucks. They turned on baseball on the tv and another employee was watching YouTube videos on an iPad super loudly, and they opened the door so traffick could be heard... between baseball, YouTube, and traffic it was hardly relaxing.
Lastly i got the same service i always have, which always come out to $70, yesterday they charged me $95?!?!?! I asked for a breakdown of the prices and the guy ringing me up acted awkward. I paid but didn’t tip because i felt like i was being taken advantage of and the experience was not worth the random extra $25 they charged me.
So ya, this place has gone extremely down hill over the past few months. i do not recommend.

Appointments are attended to first.....but when I finally got my time in the chair, I sat with Jimmy and he did a great job. He was nice, friendly and engaged in conversation. The next time I went in was yesterday and I called the day before to make an appointment with Jimmy. I set my appointment for 9:30am and I... arrived at 9:10am. It was so nice to see Jimmy had just sat someone down to do their nails but when I walked in stated I had an appointment with him, and he quickly sat that other customer somewhere else and attended me honoring our appointment. And as the time before, he did a great job. I had a picture of what I wanted and he matched it very well. The key to this place is to make an appointment, show up early for your appointment and you won’t be disappointed. See More

This place was absolutely the worst place I have ever gotten a manicure. I am a guy and so I went in for a simple manicure and the girl that did my manicure talked on the phone continuously during the entire time.After the manicure they did not offer to shine or buff my nails which has been my normal experience, and they charged me $15 which is about $5 more than the normal price that I pay. And to top off that, they didn't even have change for a $20 bill.Absolutely a ridiculous place.

Thuy at I Spa nails was not only very professional and helpful. She was personable and did an excellent job on my long blood red burgundy coffin cut acrylic nails! I loved them they lasted for ever and never broke or chipped! She helped me picked the color I was thinking of and asked me and helped suggested a good look that I was going for until I was satisfied. She never made me feel uncomfortable or pressured into buying an eye brow or lip wax (like most nail shops lol). My experience was relaxing and enjoyable like talking with old girlfriend! I highly recommend Thuy at I Spa & Nail If you are looking for a quality job with quality people. Also they were open late and took me in last minute before the Halloween weekend. I was in and out in about thirty minutes i didn't even have to wait in line :)) Planning on returning to her on my next set.

I never thought I would call the cops on a nail salon. The worker CHARGED me literally had to be held back while I was there with my 2 year old daughter. He rushed through my service and my nails looked like they were rushed and they weren’t what I asked for (wasn’t even given a proper consultation) so I asked for them to be fixed (never asked for a refund or discount) and the guy who did them begin to get upset and wanted me to soak my nails off and started yelling then all the workers started yelling at me so I started crying and he got so furious he came at me and my daughter and the lady trying to fix my nails had to hold him back! I swear I’m not making this up! It sounds unreal and I’m still in tears and shocked so at the end of the day I payed $50 for nails I didn’t like and to be verbally and ALMOST physically assaulted

I decided to try this nail salon after reading the good reviews. I've had gel nails 3 times now and they always look perfect and last for 2-3 weeks without a chip. The nail techs are top notch here.

We had an appointment for ten, only nine of us ended up being able to make it (working in the service industry myself, this can be frustrating) however, they made it very clear that they were extremely frustrated that we didn’t tell them that only ONE PERSON out of ten, was not getting nails done. They were able to start our services quickly, which was great. One of ladies in our group only wanted manicure and clear coat, she instead got her nails di...pped in powder and a clear coat. The coating was stuck from her nails to her skin, we asked to have it “fixed”, he just took his own finger nails and scraped it out, saying her nails were too short. He did not file her nails to make them all even. Two other ladies only wanted polish, but instead got “shamed” into SNS. Some of us had good looking nails after, some did not. Being from out of town, I will obviously not be going back there. The Bride, who had been a few times before this, has stated she won’t be going back after this last service. See More

I love this place! I go there mainly for pedicures, and they always do an amazing job! They do the full 9 yards, and I always leave very satisfied with the end product. I've gotten a regular manicure once, and I also was very satisfied with the end result. The pedicures with just regular polish always last me at least a month before they start to chip, and my manicures lasted around 3 weeks before i needed them to be done again. Their regular pedicure was $25 before the tip, and the regular manicure with shellac nail polish was $20 before Tip.

Staff is unfriendly, and took over an hour to seat me. I got a full set and was happy with the look when i left despite their rudeness. HOWEVER, the NEXT DAY I woke up to not one or two, but four nails popped off over night because they were so thin. When I went back in to get them fixed they told me they would charge me per nail and that they were too busy to help me, so to come back later. Take your business elsewhere because they don't care about you or your nails, just they're money.

Best pedicure I've had in San Marcos. I've gone to several salons in San Marcos and accidentally stumbled across iSpa when looking for another nail salon. I was a walk in, they really prefer appointments, but they gladly fit me in their busy schedule and spent a great amount of time on my pedicure. Best massage during a pedicure out of any place I've ever gone. My husband gets his back waxed here and absolutely loved the service he received. The lady that waxed him was so gentle and my husband said she didn't hurt him at all. Definitely recommend iSpa for your waxing, pedicure, manicure, etc needs. The staff is extremely nice as well.

I had dip nails done on Monday and to begin with one nail was crooked and by Thursday the same week 2 of my nails were cracked off. When I went in to ask for a refund and to have them removed the staff was very rude to me. They tried to not give me a refund and to fix them but I made it clear I didn't want to have them redone. They finally gave me a refund but they said that they would charge me to remove them. This is ridiculous, your going to a shitty job and then say I have to pay to remove them... horrible customer service I will be seeking a different nail salon

So a friend I was planning on seeing was unavailable so I decided to pamper myself with a much needed mani and pedi. After doing a Yelp search this place popped up and I'm glad I went. The guy who greeted me was a bit direct but nothing wrong with that since I got in right away. The lady was great with my feet and massaged my poor overworked calves (since I've started training for tough mudder) and then when I got a mani She let me switch from basic to shellac after telling her I'd heard of color changin nail polish. The whole experience was relaxin not a fancy place but my nails came out lookin awesome!

I struggled to find a place here in SM that I liked and then I stumbled upon I Spa Nails. This place is amazing!! Such a relaxing and comfortable environment! The staff is always so friendly and willing to accommodate to your request. I have visited I Spa nails over several instances now and every time I am more and more satisfied.I do wish that at certain times they had more technicians, but I do not mind the wait because of the quality they provide. Check them out if you ever get a chance, they will not disappoint!

I'm usually not one to get manis/pedis because I work with my hands a lot. I've also been to places where it just feels awkward, but that's not the case with I Spa. My friend was in town and treated me to a manicure and it was wonderful. I got a color changing polish that went along with temperature. It changed from lavender to light blue. I believe T took care of me the first time. She told me that my nails were good enough so that I didn't even need to bother with fake nails. It lasted for a really long time. I was pleased. I went back in probably half a year later, and the service was still amazing. I got the basic manicure and I think I had the deluxe pedicure. Prices were fair, and although it felt like it went by quickly, it was still very pampering. Today, I went in again. Honestly, I drove around to check out some other places, and they just didn't look as clean or friendly as I-Spa. I was worried because it was Sunday and I thought it would be busy, but there was only 1 other customer in the shop when I walked in. Two more came later. From what I could tell there were only two techs working, and they did a great job multitasking between customers. Again, I went with the basic manicure and deluxe pedicure ($47 total) I ended up smudging my finger and they fixed it no problem. Basically, when you love a place, you know. I never once felt uncomfortable at I-Spa. The staff are efficient, friendly, and good at what they do. Thank you for taking care of me time and time again!! :)

Great place!! $40 for a full powder on my nails and she cleaned up my cuticles. I picked out a color that was low so she suggested a different color with an accent color that turned out better than I thought it would. I work a lot with my hands so she suggested to make the powder thinner than what I came in with. I didn't know that was even possible. She told me when I come back she can make adjustments on the thickness depending on how long it last. She talked with me as well as some of the staff. I felt very welcomed and relaxed. I'll definitely be returning!

Went in for a quick pedicure before a job interview, and this place got the job done! Received a French pedicure for $35. The lady I had, took her time in the massage as well as the paint job. I can tell you I'm extremely pleased! Although the outside of the salon looks a bit sketchy, the inside was kept very clean. They also had these really new/awesome spa chairs! Definitely go to this nail salon for a good quality service!

I visited Spa nails and was completely unsatisfied. The only thing positive about the experience was the greeting. I had to ask several times for the water to be hotter before I was accommodated. I arrived at 6:30, an hour before they closed (the spa was empty) and I was rushed thru a pedicure. The young girl giving me a pedicure was rude. After telling her I wanted the basic pedicure she began to quote the prices for their deluxe stating that was all they had. Unfortunately for her I was holding a brochure with a basic "quick pedi" listed. She painted all over my toes, there was more paint on my skin then when I do it myself. I didn't want to say the wrong thing so I remained quiet. My best friend who was with me also received the same poor service. The girl did not offer me the disposable shoes, and instead pushed my leg out of the way to clean the station around me. I noticed they also keep and reuse the foot scrubs, which I became weary about because of bacteria. Before leaving my best friend very respectfully told the owner we were undatisified with the service. The owner seemed ok with our discontent. I would not suggest going to spa nails and instead would encourage others to check reviews for other salons in the San Marcos area.

I went to get my nails painted with shellac on Monday and they were already chipping by Thursday so I called to get an appointment and tell them that I would like them to fix them because it should last 2 weeks or more and they said okay and then I get there they fix them, the girl that is painting my nails is really nice and doing a great job but barely uses any nail polish it was like they were going to run out or something. That wasn't even the worst part the worst part is I go to leave and they told me that I had to pay. If I just got my nails painted from you 3 days before and the nail polish that you painted my nails with is already chipping and coming off of my nails that is not my fault! I liked this place up until that it just goes to show that they need to work on customer service and quality of the product. I could understand if it was already a week or two weeks and then it started chipping or if I had a job that made my nails disgusting but I don't and it was 3 days and then I was expected to pay for them again, ridiculous

My regular nail tech stopped working here about 3 months ago and it’s gone down hill since. Yesterday was probably the last time I’ll go. This started weirding me out during my pedicure. The tech romiced my polish, upon Removing my polish I noticed discoloration to one of my toenails, I’m pretty sure i have toe nail fungus after doing some googling, but she still worked on my feet. Things got increasingly weird when she tried to use cuticle nippers to cut off a cycst on my foot??? It hurt extremely bad and she looked at me like i was crazy when i told her no. Pedicure water was cold and i never saw anyone clean the foot soaker afterwards.... I’ve also noticed they don’t use sanitized tools. I’m used to techs opening up sanatized packs of tools, they reuse tools. I saw the lady put the tools she used on me right back into the drawer she pulled them from originally.
Manicure time. The salons gotten increasingly messy, behind the nail techs there’s a lot of clutter and mess, which is strange cause they’re never busy when i go in. The tech was so rough with me my fingers hurt today. I have a cut cutical and she filed the sides of my nails so intense my skin is raw at the base of all my nails. Acted offended when i said it hurt. The atmosphere sucks. They turned on baseball on the tv and another employee was watching YouTube videos on an iPad super loudly, and they opened the door so traffick could be heard... between baseball, YouTube, and traffic it was hardly relaxing.
Lastly i got the same service i always have, which always come out to $70, yesterday they charged me $95?!?!?! I asked for a breakdown of the prices and the guy ringing me up acted awkward. I paid but didn’t tip because i felt like i was being taken advantage of and the experience was not worth the random extra $25 they charged me.
So ya, this place has gone extremely down hill over the past few months. i do not recommend.

The next time I went in was yesterday and I called the day before to make an appointment with Jimmy. I set my appointment for 9:30am and I... arrived at 9:10am. It was so nice to see Jimmy had just sat someone down to do their nails but when I walked in stated I had an appointment with him, and he quickly sat that other customer somewhere else and attended me honoring our appointment. And as the time before, he did a great job. I had a picture of what I wanted and he matched it very well. I am a guy and so I went in for a simple manicure and the girl that did my manicure talked on the phone continuously during the entire time.After the manicure they did not offer to shine or buff my nails which has been my normal experience, and they charged me $15 which is about $5 more than the normal price that I pay. Thuy at I Spa nails was not only very professional and helpful. She was personable and did an excellent job on my long blood red burgundy coffin cut acrylic nails! I loved them they lasted for ever and never broke or chipped! She helped me picked the color I was thinking of and asked me and helped suggested a good look that I was going for until I was satisfied. She never made me feel uncomfortable or pressured into buying an eye brow or lip wax (like most nail shops lol). My experience was relaxing and enjoyable like talking with old girlfriend! I highly recommend Thuy at I Spa & Nail If you are looking for a quality job with quality people. Also they were open late and took me in last minute before the Halloween weekend. I was in and out in about thirty minutes i didn't even have to wait in line :)) Planning on returning to her on my next set.

He rushed through my service and my nails looked like they were rushed and they weren’t what I asked for (wasn’t even given a proper consultation) so I asked for them to be fixed (never asked for a refund or discount) and the guy who did them begin to get upset and wanted me to soak my nails off and started yelling then all the workers started yelling at me so I started crying and he got so furious he came at me and my daughter and the lady trying to fix my nails had to hold him back! I swear I’m not making this up! It sounds unreal and I’m still in tears and shocked so at the end of the day I payed $50 for nails I didn’t like and to be verbally and ALMOST physically assaulted

We had an appointment for ten, only nine of us ended up being able to make it (working in the service industry myself, this can be frustrating) however, they made it very clear that they were extremely frustrated that we didn’t tell them that only ONE PERSON out of ten, was not getting nails done. They were able to start our services quickly, which was great. One of ladies in our group only wanted manicure and clear coat, she instead got her nails di...pped in powder and a clear coat. The coating was stuck from her nails to her skin, we asked to have it “fixed”, he just took his own finger nails and scraped it out, saying her nails were too short. He did not file her nails to make them all even. Two other ladies only wanted polish, but instead got “shamed” into SNS. Some of us had good looking nails after, some did not. Being from out of town, I will obviously not be going back there. The Bride, who had been a few times before this, has stated she won’t be going back after this last service. See More

I love this place! I go there mainly for pedicures, and they always do an amazing job! They do the full 9 yards, and I always leave very satisfied with the end product. I've gotten a regular manicure once, and I also was very satisfied with the end result. The pedicures with just regular polish always last me at least a month before they start to chip, and my manicures lasted around 3 weeks before i needed them to be done again. Their regular pedicure was $25 before the tip, and the regular manicure with shellac nail polish was $20 before Tip.

HOWEVER, the NEXT DAY I woke up to not one or two, but four nails popped off over night because they were so thin. When I went back in to get them fixed they told me they would charge me per nail and that they were too busy to help me, so to come back later. Take your business elsewhere because they don't care about you or your nails, just they're money.

Best pedicure I've had in San Marcos. I've gone to several salons in San Marcos and accidentally stumbled across iSpa when looking for another nail salon. I was a walk in, they really prefer appointments, but they gladly fit me in their busy schedule and spent a great amount of time on my pedicure. Best massage during a pedicure out of any place I've ever gone. My husband gets his back waxed here and absolutely loved the service he received. The lady that waxed him was so gentle and my husband said she didn't hurt him at all. Definitely recommend iSpa for your waxing, pedicure, manicure, etc needs. The staff is extremely nice as well.

When I went in to ask for a refund and to have them removed the staff was very rude to me. They tried to not give me a refund and to fix them but I made it clear I didn't want to have them redone. They finally gave me a refund but they said that they would charge me to remove them. This is ridiculous, your going to a shitty job and then say I have to pay to remove them... horrible customer service I will be seeking a different nail salon

So a friend I was planning on seeing was unavailable so I decided to pamper myself with a much needed mani and pedi. After doing a Yelp search this place popped up and I'm glad I went. The guy who greeted me was a bit direct but nothing wrong with that since I got in right away. The lady was great with my feet and massaged my poor overworked calves (since I've started training for tough mudder) and then when I got a mani She let me switch from basic to shellac after telling her I'd heard of color changin nail polish. The whole experience was relaxin not a fancy place but my nails came out lookin awesome!

I struggled to find a place here in SM that I liked and then I stumbled upon I Spa Nails. This place is amazing!! Such a relaxing and comfortable environment! The staff is always so friendly and willing to accommodate to your request. I have visited I Spa nails over several instances now and every time I am more and more satisfied.I do wish that at certain times they had more technicians, but I do not mind the wait because of the quality they provide. Check them out if you ever get a chance, they will not disappoint!

I'm usually not one to get manis/pedis because I work with my hands a lot. I've also been to places where it just feels awkward, but that's not the case with I Spa. My friend was in town and treated me to a manicure and it was wonderful. I got a color changing polish that went along with temperature. It changed from lavender to light blue. I believe T took care of me the first time. She told me that my nails were good enough so that I didn't even need to bother with fake nails. It lasted for a really long time. I was pleased. I went back in probably half a year later, and the service was still amazing. I got the basic manicure and I think I had the deluxe pedicure. Prices were fair, and although it felt like it went by quickly, it was still very pampering. Today, I went in again. Honestly, I drove around to check out some other places, and they just didn't look as clean or friendly as I-Spa. I was worried because it was Sunday and I thought it would be busy, but there was only 1 other customer in the shop when I walked in. Two more came later. From what I could tell there were only two techs working, and they did a great job multitasking between customers. Again, I went with the basic manicure and deluxe pedicure ($47 total) I ended up smudging my finger and they fixed it no problem. Basically, when you love a place, you know. I never once felt uncomfortable at I-Spa. The staff are efficient, friendly, and good at what they do. Thank you for taking care of me time and time again!! :)

I picked out a color that was low so she suggested a different color with an accent color that turned out better than I thought it would. I work a lot with my hands so she suggested to make the powder thinner than what I came in with. I didn't know that was even possible. She told me when I come back she can make adjustments on the thickness depending on how long it last. She talked with me as well as some of the staff. I felt very welcomed and relaxed. I'll definitely be returning!

I can tell you I'm extremely pleased! Although the outside of the salon looks a bit sketchy, the inside was kept very clean. They also had these really new/awesome spa chairs! Definitely go to this nail salon for a good quality service!

I visited Spa nails and was completely unsatisfied. The only thing positive about the experience was the greeting. I had to ask several times for the water to be hotter before I was accommodated. I arrived at 6:30, an hour before they closed (the spa was empty) and I was rushed thru a pedicure. The young girl giving me a pedicure was rude. After telling her I wanted the basic pedicure she began to quote the prices for their deluxe stating that was all they had. Unfortunately for her I was holding a brochure with a basic "quick pedi" listed. She painted all over my toes, there was more paint on my skin then when I do it myself. I didn't want to say the wrong thing so I remained quiet. My best friend who was with me also received the same poor service. The girl did not offer me the disposable shoes, and instead pushed my leg out of the way to clean the station around me. I noticed they also keep and reuse the foot scrubs, which I became weary about because of bacteria. Before leaving my best friend very respectfully told the owner we were undatisified with the service. The owner seemed ok with our discontent. I would not suggest going to spa nails and instead would encourage others to check reviews for other salons in the San Marcos area.
