I believe in second chances but after my experience today I will NEVER return. Rushed to pick a nail color, switched halfway through to a gentleman that was sick and coughing who kept Messing up and overcharged me. It took over an hour. I wouldn't recommend this place. Read Less

Got a full set for $35 French tip. The woman did an amazing job considering my nails are very short. There is 1 tiny little flaw on one of my fingers but hardly noticeable unless you are 2 inches from my hand. Pretty quick in under an hr. Had some trouble paying due to their new machine but no biggie for me. Will definitely be returning for a future set possibly one of their designer sets. Would recommend. I came in and was immediately greeted, a I was picking a color for my full set the front desk woman kept handing me colors.. I felt rushed. I just picked one. Once my nails were being done the man doing them drilled them hard and it burned and hurt so much that when I used the Uv light to dry, it hurt and I had to use the fan. The skin around my nails were torn up at the end (took a day to heal) and now only 2 days later there are black specks and stuff in my polish. Oh yeah; and I almost got a color change on my toes but they literally ask you to put your foot under the Desk!!! And do your nails like that with your foot in their lap!!! Read Less

I came in on a Saturday around one with a friend. I spoke to whom I think was the manager at the counter. He was so nice and helpful. Took his time explaining each service and didn't rush us to make a decision. We both got pedicures and I got a shellac manicure. Everything was great! No cuts, no pain, and everyone was so friendly. My tech was Tom and he was amazing! I even accidentally smudged my baby toe and came back and the manager was so nice and fixed it with no problem! I will definitely come back here! I came here four days ago and the man that was working with me cut my fingers three times with a nail file. I asked him to stop working on my nails and he refused. He laughed in my face and called me a cry baby. The woman at the front desk came up to me and offered to add some bow embellishments on my nails as a "sorry".I came back today because my nails are bumpy and uneven and the bows fell off. My nails are now looking horrible. She refused to fix my nails or add the embellishment today "because they didn't have enough staff" however while I was waiting for a response a young woman came and she took her in but couldn't help me. I found out about this place from other Yelpers, and boy am I happy that I took their advice. This place is super convenient. I was oblivious to it's existence even though I go to the Dezevala & IH 10 almost every week, but I never think of moseying on over to the University Square (where this little slice of self indulgent heaven is). They accept walk ins which is great because I am horrible at calling ahead when I'm in dire need of a mani/pedi. On the day that I went there was a little bit of a wait but nothing horrible granted that it was a Saturday afternoon and my mom and I were walk-ins. The pedicure was nice and relaxing and although we were originally just going to get pedis we decided to splurge and also try out their shellac nail polish for manis as well. I am officially in love with shellac. They have a ton of colors and walk you through the process if you've never had it done before which is nice. I've had acrylics and I hated how they tore up my nails, with shellac I get the look of the acrylics without having to go through all the pain and hassle of filling them every 2 weeks. PLUS they don't chip! I work in the medical field and am always washing my hands so regular nail polish only lasts 2 days if I'm lucky, so this is my new obsession...and my favorite place to get my fix! I get the french tips in the shellac polish and it runs roughly $30,with mani $40 before tip (for 1 solid color I think I was quoted around $25, with mani $35). I went to Sapa nail on weekend, they are so busy ,but the warm welcome of owner make me feel so comfortable. I told him I want pedicure and shellac done and I wait not even 5 minutes. The guy did my pedicure so great they let me relax with soft music. This is the first time I done shellac, they have a lot of choice of colors. They have about 11 nail techs but they all hapy smile and help out it others. With 28 buck for pedicure with hot towels and 35 bucks for shellac with manicure I think no one can beat it. I have been getting my nails done for a LONG time, and have tried many places throughout San Antonio and Texas. Let me tell you this place is the best. For the same price I was already accustomed to paying everywhere else, they threw in a little extra pampering. They include a hand massage with every nail service, and there attention to detail is phenominal! They do a lot of the procedures by hand and pay close attention to the Pain Factor, and making sure that they don't hurt you in any way.
