Been here before and pedicures always good but today it was quite disappointing. They guy who did my pedi really just went through the motions. It was like he pretended to cut my cuticles, but really didn't. And he barely gave my toenails a file with the Emery board. I was getting my tires done nearby and walked upon several salons while I was waiting. The first 2 were kinda snobby and way overpriced. Nails Studio had very quick service and even provided me a refreshing beverage after my brow wax! I'll be back soon. Read Less

I was in San Antonio needing to get my nails done, and thought I'd give this place a try—seeing that it got such great reviews. However I'm highly disappointed. $70+ for a full set of "ombre" nails. Never in my life have I had to pay over $50 for a full set of ombre nails. While the man did a good job, it was not worth the $70+ tip he was asking. Which was also not a price listed on the menu. Management needs to fix this situation from happening to someone else—at least telling customers before hand there will be additional charges. Would not recommend. Girl at the front desk is the only 10/10 in this whole situation as her customer service skills are highly exceptional. Read Less

There are no words to express the awesomeness of this place. Professional, Friendly, Fun, Relaxing, Exceptional Service. They go far and beyond any salon I have ever entered. Nail tech was nice . But I was told that my nails would be $35 dollars by one of the nail techs and if I left a review would be an additional $10 or 10% off . My total came out to $40 because I was not informed of the extra $5 fee for taking nails off and the percentage was not applied for leaving a review . Poor communication . Never again Read Less

First, let me say this is a gorgeous nail salon.  Plus they offer you adult beverages while you get your nails done.I live 10 minutes outside NYC so I know expensive.  This place was entirely too expensive for what I had done. Best acrylic full sets I have ever gotten, and I rarely get them for the awful and terrifying experiences I have had at high end salons. This place by far - the best. Not only did the nail tech take 45min, but my nails are beautiful amd EXACTLY how I wanted them. Their prices are good, customer service is wonderful, amd the place itself is very clean and smells fresh. They even have a minibar! I have never left a nail salon HAPPY before i found this place. It is not the most visually appealing , but they have done the best job on my nails that anyone ever has in all of my 21 years. In my experience with small businesses, its always the ones you least expect, to be that diamond in the rough.They also give you the option to purchase your own kit of tools they use on you and only you for your service which is a very good idea with all the things going around about how some nail shops don't sanitize their tools resulting in infections. I came in with an unusual request , a type of polish i saw online which was an OPI collection with a matte finish, they did not have the polish but instead of heading out the door as other salons would have had me do, they quickly started thinking and talking about other options to achieve my desired result, resulting in them using the most perfect black acrylic with no top coat ; giving me my desired matted finish :) something they have never done on anyone before, something they taught themselves in 5 minutes in front of me, came out so perfectly. It definitely says something about a place of business that shows the clients their happiness is the most important at the end of the day. I am a stylist at a local salon and have had trouble keeping a good looking manicure due to color stains and constant shampooing, but the finish and quality of work they have done keeps my fingers looking fresh for about a month (my own fault, i really should be in every 2 weeks) but even after 3 weeks none of my nails chipped or broke, all i needed was a small fill. They file them to the point where they feel like real nails, not all thick at the tips like false nails normally feel like, which i love. The day i returned to work after getting them done my boss could not stop raving about how great they looked and immediately said she was going to take her daughter for a spa day together. She is hard to impress, being the owner of the top salon in San Antonio. I returned a second time and got a pedicure as well, (they also had the most perfect pink polish, bright yet pale, the perfect medium that i chose to grace my toes) with another strange request, a specific design i wanted free hand drawn onto one toenail, which , yet again they've never done, and still she taught herself in 5 minutes and flawlessly executed my request. Both times i carelessly moseyed on in not paying attention to the time, as my service carried on past their closing time, not once did they make me feel uncomfortable that i caused them to stay late. nor felt they were talking about me (as other places have done using the language barrier to their advantage,) and while i was there other friendly customers mentioned they drive in from Uvalde, over an hour away from their shop just to get her mani/pedi cause of their flawless work. as do other clients, and thier family members.
