I love them!!! I came in with a broken nail that I just had done 3 days ago because KT nail and spa would not take me even though it was their work. The guy at KT nail and spa told me that’s what happens when you have long nails. So went around the corner to Basse Nails they are so nice and welcoming offered me something to drink asked how my day was. If I needed another glass of wine. Was concerned about the quality of my nails for I had an overlay on top of natural nail and... he noticed some Brown spotting on my nails indicating fungus. He Removed all the acrylic off of my nails and cleaned out all the fungus and dirt. Then hands me over to an angel (his wife) she then asks me The customer what would I like done? I then thought to myself the only thing I ever heard at KT’s was what color you want. I told her what I wanted and she envisioned my vision and did exactly what I wanted without saying can you fix this or I don’t like that. I recently moved to San Antonio and was in dire need of some nail therapy. Walked in and was immediately helped by peter. He did a lovely job! I got acrylics with gel polish and finished it off with a matte top coat. He shaped them perfectly and even asked a couple of times if he was doing it the way I wanted, which he was. I've visited this salon twice & both experiences have been wonderful. The staff catered to our needs and were absolutely wonderful with my 3 year old daughter. It's clean, relaxing & the staff are great. My first visit was a pedi & eyebrow wax, & the second time was mani/pedi with my mother in law & daughter. We only got basic polish but they did a great job & the actually pedicure was soooooo relaxing & enjoyable. I look forward to my future visits here with them! Read Less

The place was clean but let's start with my technician not even using disposable gloves, then he applied CND which he explained was suppose to last for a week but a day later it started to peel and I'm very gentle with my nails, I played 60 for a Mani/pedi and I think it was too much for what I got! I was a regular costumer KT Nail & Spa and came to Basse Nail & Spa cause KT could not see me and I needed my nails done right away. The lady at Basse was very nice and did a great job on my nails! I love them! When she messed up, she fixed her mistake. And when she got polish on my skin , she cleaned it off. When the people at KT mess up or get polish on my skin, they act like they don't notice. The lady at Basse inspected my nails as well and KT doesn't. Do not go here unless you want a flesh eating bacteria!! They do not sterilize between customers!! I was a first time cutomer, a walk-in wanting a pedi. They told me to take a seat in a ped chair which was right next to a lady getting her toes does done. When the pedicurist finished with the lady, she rolled the equipment cart to my chair and picked up a utensil. She was about to use the same utensils she used on the other lady!!!! I asked her ""are you gonna sterilize those?""!!! She kept apologizing and got me sterilized utensils ( i watched her) and needless to say, I was watchful of the other pedicurists/manicurists during my time there. I can tell you that 2 other pedicurists did NOTHING with their utensils after their customer left!!! The utensils went right back into the cup for them to use on someone else!!!
