If I could give this salon 0 stars, I would. I walked in twenty minutes before closing time thinking there wouldn't be many people ahead of me (there were only 4 customers inside). One of the ladies asked me what service I wanted, I told her a shellac manicure and she told me to choose my color. I waited for thirty minutes watching as each nail tech took their time as if there wasn't another customer waiting. I was very patient up until I had been there for thirty minutes, not once was I asked if I wanted something to drink, or to let me know how much longer the wait was. Finally I got up and said , "excuse me I'm going to take my name off the list, I've been waiting for thirty minutes." One of the nail tech's said, "oh, I'm sorry" and that was it. I consider myself a very patient person however, the fact that these employees didn't have the decency to offer any kind of customer service was unacceptable. Poor, poor, poor customer service! I go here every 2 weeks. I gave the same 2 people work on my nails and feet. I have to admit if they were not there, especially Lisa who does my nails, I probably would go somewhere else. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because as others have stated sometimes there's a wait even with an appointment. But I have found this to be the case in any salon where walk-ins are welcome. I went here on two separate occasions in hopes that this would be a place I could come to often since it is so close to my house, but this is not going to be the case. I wanted to take my young girls in to get their first manicure as a cute mommy/daughter time so I called ahead to make an appointment as there were three of us. I was told to come in at a certain time, which we did, then we waited. We waited about 15 minutes, to which I wondered why I made an appointment. The staff was nice and the store is clean. There was not enough room at the tables when it was our turn so I had to sit at one of the pedicure chairs, away from my daughters. They kept insisting to not give my daughters full manicures and just trim and paint. I agreed as they seemed busy and my girls were still happy to have that. The whole process was very rushed. They were friendly but rushed. The second time we just decided to walk in, with four of us for pedicures and we again waited for about 15 minutes before being seated. This time though we waited for 45 minutes with our feet soaking before anyone came over. Mine was completely rushed and not done properly or completely. Overall, I do not recommend unless you like only having sub par service and being rushed due to over booking and understaffing. I walked in and got a crappy normal manicure. The manager even did it, I found this out after the police were called.... She was rough, rude and cut my finger. I told her twice while she was doing my nails I wouldn't pay her. Then when I tried leaving after drying, she stepped in front of my way and demanded I pay. With the low rating, now I see why, she needed every cent. No big deal! I ended paying after she grabbed my wrist, and all her yuppity regulars started fending for her. I stayed and waited for the cops, that's right she and her yuppity regulars called the cops because I was "yelling" and not paying the lowsy $13 for a shitty manicure. DO NOT COME HERE!!!. Then she will be out of business, no CUSTOMER deserves to put up with that and for all the folks who filmed, please put it on Facebook! We will definitely need to bring negative attention to that nail salon- but it seems Google reviews and Yelp already know that..I should have kept searching for a better place. We were both in the wrong at the end of the day, especially the bitch who stood behind my car to avoid me leaving without paying. Like wtf! You do a shit job, you dont get paid, ....at least thats the way america runs customer service...but I recommend DO NOT COME HERE, spend your money on people who care, who take their time and dont screw up your nails!!!! Loved this place! I arrived early on a Saturday and got in with no wait. I got a pedicure and manicure. Both were very well done. The nail techs are friendly and during my pedicure I got the best leg/foot massage ever. This is a bit of a drive from where I live but I think I will be back anyway. Read Less

I went here for the first time with my mother, sister, and daughters. Best experience ever! They took good care of all of us (we had an appointment). My manicurist Terri added one tip instead of 4 or 5 I thought I needed (which saved me money and trouble later because I have to remove it next week), and did an amazing dipping powder. I came out here to get my eyebrows waxed. I'm not from here and I usually get them threaded. First off threading costs $11, they charge $10. The lady was very incompetent. Im paying for a wax yet your so unskilled your using beauty supply razor. She barely used wax at all. I let her try multiple times. DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE. I did pay because she did try her best unfortunately her best is substandard. It looks like I did it myself so basically it's horrible. Worst place ever. I will never return to this place again. I gave Studio Nails a try as I was looking for a new nail salon.  Upon first look the staff were friendly and actually acted like they wanted my business (unlike other salons I'd visited in Round Rock) so I booked an appointment.  Upon returning I was pleasantly greeted and there was no wait for my pedicure, they have many colors but the one I picked was so old it took assistance to get the top off and thinner added to just apply it.  This business appears NOT to sterilize their equipment, I don't see how that passes the health and safety regulations but the equipment is used then taken directly to the next customer.  So while you do have a liner for the foot tub you spread whatever to your next customers through the foot implements .  MEH.  My fingernail polish started coming off the next day and now less than 5 days later I have only 2 nails with polish left on them.  Mani/Pedi $45, lesson learned, PRICELESS. Went in on a busy Sunday, so the wait was expected, I did appreciate waiting in the relaxing chair with my feet soaking.  My friend and I were shown a menu that had 2 choices. Deluxe and Deluxe, no I'm not joking, LOL. Both cost 35 bucks and then on the back was another choice for 50.  We went with one of the deluxe pedicures called "mask". No water or drinks were offered like other nail salons with similar prices. My pedicure was wildly different than my friends. I had a massage, she didn't. The man doing my pedicure did not trim my nails or cuticles. He just buffed them. My friend had her nails trimmed and attention focused on cuticles and no massage.  Then mask used (premeasured and cheap portions) and a hot towel for 5 minutes. Washed off and painted. Both of our pedicures looked good and the nail polish wasn't old. (You know the old water it down until it's not polish anymore thing some salons do). My friend's nail tech got up mid-pedicure and another lady replaced her, no explanation. It was just odd and not relaxing. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't special, relaxing or worth 35 bucks. I love the way my nails look, but my fingers are throbbing! My cuticles are crying! I got a dipped nail manicure. It looks awesome but the nail tech made me bleed several times. I am typically quiet and reserved but I finally had to speak up and ask her to stop a few times. Ouch!! Definitely give the dipped nail thing a try but proceed with caution! Read Less

I liked this place a lot. It was my first try at a place since moving to Texas almost two years ago. The staff was all fairly nice and all seem to know what they're doing. My pedi was a little awkward - the young lady didn't say anything and barely made eye contact and seemed distracted but it was enjoyable anyway and she did a good job on my toenails. I have acrylics because otherwise I tend to chew my nails to the quick and tear my cuticle to bits.John always does a fantastic job, leaving my nails nice and thin and natural looking, instead of like little blobs of plastic glued on to the ends of my fingers. He's quiet and efficient, and doesn't feel the need to talk my ear off or pretend to be interested in my life and I like that. The pedicures are nice but my five stars are distinctly for John. I read the reviews, but decided to give them a shot anyway since you never know...I felt really uncomfortable that they don't use towels when removing shellac polish and everything falls on the floor. And the color was very different from the sample. I talked to the manager and she said they don't always match.... Ummmm... Seriously. And the pedicure... I had to remind them to add a top coat. No. My nails are DESTROYED. Came in for a mani pedi with a girlfriend. Pedicure: Water was freezing cold. After asking for the water to be warmer, it was raised about one degree. Only positive was the massage and polish. Manicure: Didn't even get past the removal of my old SNS. The tech used a drill on my natural nail beds and completely demolished them. I decided to cut my losses and go back to my usual salon. My nails are so thin and bendable. She doused a bunch of cuticle oil on them, as if that would help. They're not even filed evenly. Fabulous. Very happy with my manicure and pedicure. I got the deluxe pedicure---my feet feel and look amazing. They helped me pick the gel color that was similar to my toenail polish. She filled my solar nails and changed the gel color. She did a better job than the previous spa. She refiled and reshaped the base, kept the tip short. Will definitely be coming back. Read Less

I've been getting gel-polish here for the last few months.  Their polish is better then when I tried the gel-polish phenomenon about a year ago.  Not sure what they do different, but it lasts 3+ weeks and DOES NOT CHIP!!!I can't give a 5 star, there are the typical language barriers that come with these type of places.  They've never been rude by any means, but just always that communication awkwardness.  I keep coming back!Got my eyebrows done once too and the guy did a great job as well. I went there for the first time today and would not have minded the fifty minute wait if the guy at the counter had not said the wait would be fifteen minutes. After a half hour I asked how long it would be and got attitude about how busy they were. The service for my nails was even worse, the polish is not even and there is way too much on my skin.
