The pedi massages were awful and short. I felt like we didn’t get taken care of well. Even my son came and wanted to get a pedi just For the massage and they did a 2 minute massage or less on him. The only good thing was my mani turned out ok with the shortness I like and color. I called ahead and asked if they could do cheetah print nails they said yes. What a joke, the lady was rude and she just drew squiggly lines on my nails and added a few dots. The price is really high for what you get. As another reviewer stated, the quality is hit or miss. The person seated next to me got a better nail tech than I had. (My nail tech was Denise) I am from the Dallas area and I’m always surprised to go to places like Round Rock and pay soooo much more for less skill. Additionally, I chose a color for the powder nail process and it looked nothing like the finished sample from which I picked. When I pointed that out, the tech tried to tell me body heat and a couple of days would lighten the color to be more of a match to the sample! I definitely will not be back. Seriously the WORST pedicure in life! I had a girl with black frame glasses.. Was supposed to be 35min she completely finished in 18min! Rushed through the whole thing! I had my feet in the water less than a minute before she took them out and started working, she started scrubbing like as if she was scrubbing a babies foot and scared to hurt it.. I literally felt nothing, the little bit of calluses that I have are still there my feet are in no better shape than before I walked in the only thing that changed is the polish! If I knew I was going to pay $35 for just polish I wouldve never came here. I recently got my nails done by Jenny the owner of Concept Nails and did an amazing job.  She was creative and added nail art for me and they turned out beautiful.  I use the Shellac nail polish and usually the longest I can go without the polish chipping off is 2 weeks and it's been 4 weeks since I got my nails done by Jenny and they still look great.  Their salon is beautiful & they do an amazing job on nails.  This is the only nail salon I will go to in the future & if you're looking for a nail salon in Round Rock I strongly recommend Concept Nails. Subpar pedicure and full set. My pedicure was less than average and left much to be desired. When I was getting my full set, another customer came in upset that she would have to wait for the technician that was doing my nails. They pushed me off onto another employee who I don't believe was a technician because the shape of my nails were not what I asked for. It was my fiance and I first time there for a pedicure based on Yelp's reviews but we were both disappointed. The guy who did mine was nice but the pedicure itself wasn't. I have bad calluses but that was barely taken care of as part of my pedicure which I would considered a big deal if I'm paying for their deluxe pedicure service. My fiance's lady was rough on his feet as if she just assumed he had no feelings at all for some reason. First let me advice that this place is one of the higher priced places around here in Round Rock. They have a big salon with plenty of space for everything. The people are nice and lots of selection in color. I’ve come to this place a lot because it’s a walking distance from where I live so it’s easy to get here and fast. I never make an appointment and I’m always seated within 5 minutes. However, the quality of the work is a hit and miss with the nail techs. I went (based on yelp reviews and photos) here today 10/6/17 around 4p. I was a walk-in and didn't have to wait. I was unsure what I wanted and showed them photos of what I wanted. Everyone was helpful. the salon was very clean. I have OCD and it didn't bother me to sit in the chairs or use the hand towels. Lindsay was my nail technician she offered me beverages. I'm so happy I found this place! I went in on a Saturday afternoon with my 4 year old daughter and I was pleasantly surprised at how impressive it was. We didn't have to wait long - maybe 5 minutes, and didn't have an appointment. It's very new (less than 2 years old) and it was so clean and nice. They have the polish colors neatly organized for you to select - and so many colors! I got a pedicure for myself and just a polish change for my daughter. They don't have children'...s chairs, but it was ok- they made sure she was comfortable and were super attentive! Jenny did my daughter's toe nail polish and did an extra design (we didn't even ask- she just offered it) and did not charge extra. Kim did my pedicure and it was probably one of the best pedicures I've ever had! She scrubbed 3 different times! Definitely spring for their best pedicure - it's reasonably priced - around $40 - and includes a hot stone, a lotion and a scrub massage. Kim was so sweet and made sure I was enjoying it. My daughter then sat on my lap after her polish and Kim even massages her calves...so sweet! I finally found my place to call home! I've been looking for a long time for a nail salon that was not only great but friendly as well. I've even gone all the way to Austin from Round Rock from where I live and paid a lot of money and not treated very well. But let me tell you this place is awesomeness!! Where do I begin? Ok so I made an appointment with Jenny for a full gel set and spa pedicure and you sign in when you walk in and choose  color and there is so much to choose from! From gel to powdered and just regular nail polish. I chose gel full set and spa pedicure with hot rocks and leg massage which was so great and much needed by Kim who is so sweet and she even waxed my eyebrows! And while I was getting my pedicure done by Kim, Jenny started on my nails! I felt like a princess, I've never experienced that before and Jenny made me feel welcome and talked to me being my first time, I felt really relaxed. Also you can tell the customers that come here are just happy and friendly like this salon is family!! My nails have held up almost a month now and my leg massage was awesome, Jenny is very talented and she does a lot of nail art if you are interested in that too! Also if you need waxing they provide that. As for prices they are average for a nail salon and I'm  Willing to pay for great service. I really really wanted to like this place. I just moved here from Boston and get my nails done regularly, so I was looking for a good new place. The first time I went here, I had a full gel set and asked for a fill. Nancy did my nails, and switched me over from gel to acrylic without even really asking if I wanted that - she just assured me that that would be better. I didn't oppose and thought, hey, if she's better at doing acrylics then I'll give them a shot. Well, I asked for a pointed shape, but she filed my nails so sharp that I literally cut my boyfriend's skin with them, and they were crooked and uneven. A week later I was back in to have a few fixed because they kept breaking.Nina ended up fixing my nails for me and saw that I had fungus growing under one nail. I was so freaked out, but she ended up doing a great job and I decided I would keep going to her. However, I soon learned that she had quit and I had no idea where she went. So I reluctantly went back to try someone new.I got Lisa for my third time in. She looked at my nails and asked me who I had seen before, and then told me that they did a terrible job on my nails. It just turned me off that she would talk that way about other employees in the shop. She did an okay job, but again, my nails were uneven, and she absolutely ruined my real nails underneath with her drill. She drilled at my nails way more than any other tech has. Omg! Love! Love! Jenny is one of the owners and ALWAYS does my nails. She's amazing. And truthful!!!  All of the staff is wonderful and I love that even hire high school students to work the front to give them work experience. But back to the services, Aunt Mai as I refer to is amazing as well. Always does my pedicure and super friendly. And Jenny also does my brows as well (wax and threading) when she uses this method, my brows only need a touch up... a whole month later!!!  This place is a hidden treasure. I am SUPER picky about my nails. I walked in and Jenny set the expectations for how my nails would look right from the get go after I showed her the picture.  I appreciate that so much instead of having someone say yes they can do it and then can't. Concept nails main concern is THE CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION AND HEALTH OF YOUR NAILS. They were more than willing to fix the damage done to my toes from another salon and not once did they speak ill of their work they just educated me on the proper way to to remove gel. I arrived at the salon at around 4:30 (they closed at 6 that day) thinking that was plenty of time for a pedicure and a full set. The staff stayed till after closing to make sure my pedicure was done properly and my new set of nails were perfect. Jenny didn't rush my full set and instead of painting the design I wanted she did it in acrylic instead. The staff did not start speaking ill of having to wait. Everyone was so friendly and offered water and wanted my satisfaction. By far the BEST SALON I've ever been too in many different states and THE BEST customer service. Very dissatisfied. I walked in and the nail tech took me back right away. I showed her the design I wanted on my ring finger. She said ok. She we got to the design and she was struggling. I asked if someone else could do the bow on my finger and was told she left. Then was told i should just get it painted one color. My response was, I came in and showed you what I wanted in the beginning. If she couldn't do it why did she take me? I was then told to come back tomorrow and get it fixed at no extra cost. Ok no problem. Then while paying i was told a specific time i need to come in to get it fixed. 12 to 1230. Excuse me, i just paid 40 to end up not getting what i wanted. I have children too. 12 to 1230 is not a good time. Not only that, it took this lady an hour and a half to do a fill. A bit long. Plus she was shaving my natural nails down to the point it hurt. Id tell her and she told me im sensitive. Ive had it done many times and it didn't hurt. Then the best part was the pricing. I paid 40 for a gel fill when i paid 40 to get a full set at a different salon. Plus my sisters cost 27 for a regular pedi. Kind of pricy. Anyways its not worth it. At least with who did my nails. I met up with a friend for a pedicure today at Concept Nails, and from the moment we walked in, we were treated professionally. Amazingly, we didn't have to linger at spindles of unorganized colors of nail polish as they had all of their colors available on sample sticks that were organized by brand and type. After choosing my color, Ashley showed me where I would be sitting and asked if I would like something to drink. After getting settled in and selecting the service I wanted, I was able to relax and enjoy my pedicure. I've been going here for a few months. I was seeing Jenny. Despite always being charged a fee for "extra" long nails (even though I cut and shaped my nails before going) I still tipped fairly. I always paid between $50 and $60 for FILLS. I initially went there asking for chrome nails. Which I did not get. If I could attach pictures I would. My nails are displayed in the photo section of this page so you can plainly see (hot pink and silver ..ew), I ended up painting over them... myself. No one There does "chrome" nails. I should have stopped going after that but I liked Jenny because she is fast. The next thing I asked for was "matte" black. My nails looked like black rubber. Those are also displayed in the photo section. Matte nails should have absolutely no shine. They shouldn't look like inner tube rubber. And one of the reasons I stopped going was because Jenny was really pissed off my second to last appointment and she was really rough on my nails. When I finally got fed up and asked her what's wrong, she made up some excuse about it being about some other client. I went back one more time and she was decent but she barely spoke to me and charged me for extra long nails again. When I tried to rebook, she was suddenly completely booked days in advance. I am from New Jersey, and was visiting my boyfriend in this area. Before seeing him, I was desperate for a eyebrow wax along with a mani pedi and did not have the time to do it while I was home. After I landed, I quickly called this place and asked if they could pencil me in last minute. They did it without hesitation. When I arrived, I told them how I found them on YELP and was impressed by the nail designs. I changed my mind and decided to go ahead and get tips. They wound up doing my nails and pedicure at the same time. Immediately when I sat, they offered me a complimentary glass of wine which I thought was a nice touch.  The pedicure was quite enjoyable and relaxing.In regards to the tips, the boy who was doing my hand was extremely patient when we were trying to find the right nail color. The only thing I wish he would have done was fix my nails prior to putting on the tips.Example would be, my nail bedding and clean up any extra skin-ladies, you know what I'm talking about.) He just went ahead and put the tips right on. I was not the biggest fan of that. (This is the main reason why I did not give this place five stars).However, I must say, this place gave me the strongest tips I have ever gotten. I had no time to fix them when I came back home unfortunately, but they lasted me at least 3 1/2 weeks! I am a bartender and I was playing softball three times a week and they still completely LASTED. The paint did not even chip. Even my mother was impressed! I Have never been disappointed coming here! The service is wonderful, the atmosphere peaceful. Some people want the same person, but I try to allow multiple ones to provide service because you never know what may be going on in their lives.  Today Huang gave me the absolute best leg and foot massage ever. I'm in the market for a new nail place, and since I'm moving just down the street from Concept, I decided to give them a try.I am coming from another local salon that is very highly rated and quite expensive, but always does great work (aka spoiled).I have to say that I am very pleased with my experience here and think I have found my new place.The prices are MUCH LOWER than my previous place.I got a shellac mani with arm massage for $30.THIRTY DOLLARS!I did experience a mishap though, as a few of my nails began chipping after three days.I called and Jenny re-did the messed up nails at no charge.Great service, clean, comfortable facility.Thanks! I previously posted a 4 star review about 2 weeks ago. But I just went back for a fill on my acrylics, and you can see the fill lines and the flower I was given on my ring fingers looks terrible. The tech blamed it on her not having tools. It's a nail salon I expect the correct equipment to be provided. I went for a full set white tips, gel french pedicure and brow wax. They were ALL so kind and helpful. Everyone greeted me, everyone spoke to me while my nails were being done by Huy. They were just wonderful! I expressed my concern for the dremel sander on natural nails, and they assured me it would be quick and just a light touch. Came here yesterday for a full set and a pedi. I've been looking for a place to do ombré nails for months. So glad these ladies are knowledgeable in that category. I got my nails done by Jenny. Sometimes when a tech doesn'tUnderstand, they just say yes anyway, and you don't get what you want. Not here. They understood me, and I understood them. We had great convos matter of fact. I can't say enough great things about this place!!!the nail techs do not cut corners and pay so close attention to detail! my experience was so amazing here!!! I've been here several times already, but wasn't motivated to leave a review until now.  I went in for a standard french gel mani/pedi about a week ago around 5:30 pm.  I asked that my mani/pedi be done separately only because I feel I get a better manicure that way.  Unfortunately, my pedicure was taking much longer than expected and with closing time nearing it was "highly" recommended that my manicure be done while my pedi was being finished.  I reluctantly agreed, but the job was done and all was well with the world....or so I thought.Only 3 days later I began to notice my manicure starting to separate from my nail on multiple fingers.  I was completely shocked considering that this was a gel set and should last for at least 2 weeks.  My last gel french manicure lasted 3 weeks!  So I immediately go back to Concept Nails and explain my situation.  It initially looked like a simple repair job, but to my surprise they offered to re-do my entire set for free!Jenny took great care of me.  Not only was she attentive, but she was precise and efficient.  She was done within 30 minutes!  She even thanked me for coming back to give them a chance to make it right.  I must say, this experience completely exceeded all of my expectations and has won me over as a permanent customer.  Again, this was the first time anything like this has ever happened, but in the rare even this were to ever occur again, I feel good knowing I'll be taken care of! Came in for the first time today. Michael was the tech that did my nails. Everyone I encountered here is very nice. Michael did a great job on my full set. I was a bit indecisive but he was extremely patient. He also didn't burn me one time with the drill! I liked  the service so much I brought my Mom back the same day. I didn't give 5 stars because some styles they don't do such as gel ombré and powdered glitter. But I will definitely keep Concept as my go to nail salon.
