I showed him a picture of exactly how I usually get my nails. He first said they were too long for nexgen dip! Then he kept trying to push acrylic on me when I kept saying No. he did the dip and dipped my nails 5 times. They were so thick and tacky! I had to ask him to file them done and eventually ended up having the entire set removed! Do Not go to this salon! How can a shop be a NAIL shop and doesn't know how to NAILS!Read Less

I went in on a Wednesday at 4:35, there were 4 customers already in there. I needed a pedi and mani. They started on my pedi first with in 15-20 of being there. Then at 6:10 (while still getting a pedi) another woman comes to do my manicure, I told her I not to worry about it. They had done another woman's nails that came in after me, I guess since I was already having one service they felt this was ok. But I didn't plan on being there for 3 or more hours. I got gel on my toes and it was sloppy, she got it all over my skin and it had already pealed off 1 toe and started pealing off the others just 2 days later. $49 dollars for a pedicure and the polish started pealing off in 2 days! They did a good job on my nails and thier friendly and at least some of them speak English. Even some of the pedicures are not that expensive I thought when l asked about having parifen wax on my hands. I guess she didn't understand l wanted that day. Read Less

Just had a manicure and pedicure at Apple. The WORST I have ever had. This was my first time at this nail salon. The pedicure started off well and then the technician decided that I had part of a toe nail that looked bad so he snipped it and then pulled causing bleeding such that it took 20 minutes to get it to stop and then had the audacity to suggest that it was my fault because my toe nail had to be trimmed like that. Then the manicurist, though pleasant , used the nail "sander" to Remove my old nexgen manicure and managed to put 3 small cuts on the side of 3 different fingers ! They then had the nerve to charge me full price for a terrible job on my toes and leaving me with injuries on my fingers and toes. I will never return to this place. The only plus to this place is that it was clean so hopefully my toe won't get infected! Read Less

As an "I'm sorry you're past your due date, let's get you pampered" gift, my husband took me here to get a manicure and pedicure. It looked pretty busy, which to me was a good sign. Wow, this place must be good! They got my husband and me back into the pedicure chairs pretty quickly, however, once we were in the chairs, nothing was done for 15-20 minutes. No water filling the basin, no offers for drinks, no acknowledgement whatsoever. I found that odd, but just because other places I've been to do that, doesn't mean they all do, so I sat back in my chair, turned on the massager and waited. To keep this short, which is exactly what the staff did with our services, I will just say that the pedicure portion left me wanting. We each picked or respective pedicure type, but the services were pretty well lacking. The massage portion of my pedicure, which was what I was really looking forward to, was rushed and incredibly limited. Basically the massage oil was rubbed on only to be rinsed off. Then, once those were done the basins were drained and again we were ignored. I finally asked one of the aestheticians about the manicure I had also requested. It was as if it was a hassle to speak to me, but a chair was pointed to and I took it. As the man took his place across from me, I asked if I could get a design on one nail and was told, "I don't do that." Just as a side note, I had just watched the ladies next to me in the pedicures get very intricate and complicated designs added to their paint jobs, so I didn't think twice about asking for stripes on one nail. Anyway, again trying to keep it short, it was the most rushed and underwhelming experience I have ever had. I felt the entire time like I was inconveniencing the staff, and it was not the experience I had hoped for at all. I completely understand the staff being somewhat overwhelmed with the sheer amount of people in the waiting area, however, I was paying money just as they were waiting to do and feel I deserved to be treated as an important client, not to be rushed through everything. If you have to be shut-in during a torrential rain storm, what better place to pass the time than treating yourself to a manicure & pedicure?  The team who worked on me were both very good, the chairs were comfortable, the tools were sterilized and the place was clean.  The only fault I found is that they didn't seem to have very many stylish nail polish colors like I've seen at some higher end salons.  I ended up settling on a color that I'm not wild about. They jacked up my nails like BIG TIME! I told the lady that the polish on my nails was gel so you have to remove it using certain tools. I'm not sure why but she wasn't convinced and I know she was talking about me. Once she attempted to remove the polish she tried to put a new color on. OMG! WHAT A DISASTER! On Thursday May 16th 2013 I went in for an eye brow wax, that very nite a large lump started protruding on my lft eye below the eye brow, the next few days gets worse and worse, last nite i was in Urgent Care getting my STAPH INFECTION  lanced off my eye lid...I have now missed 7 days of work being Im a waitress.. Horrible!!! I wanted French tips with acrylic but they tried to convince me that could not be done! What? Said that only comes in solar nails. The lady was yelling at me across the room! Then I asked for a star on my big toe with my pedicure. I got flowers!!! All while being treated with such rudeness the other customers were appalled! I was visiting family this side of town and desperately needed a fill.  I had stopped in at Beauty Nails down the street and walked out because of the customer service.  This place is no frills and not the most friendly and that made me nervous.  I am VERY picky about my nails but at this point I just needed them done.  The guy was fast and did a good job.  They are not like I usually get them but still look good.  I have much worse on several occasions at other places.  It was good in a pinch and the prices were good too. Worst service! Brought my friend with me from out of town who hasn't had a manicure or pedicure in 10 years. Thought I would treat her to what I thought would be a relaxing experience. WRONG. First, they hounded us on different products when all we wanted was the classic mani and pedi. Typical. As previous reviewers had mentioned they wore gloves which was pointless because they touched everything and anything. The timers are what threw me over the edge. Terrible pedicure. The lady had a timer and it kept going off the entire time, she was wearing gloves that she had used on someone else. During the pedicure she kept getting up and leaving and touching everything with her gloves on. Nasty. The massage was not good at all. I'll be hunting for a good pedicure place in Rockwall. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! They are rude and unaccommodating! My friend and I got the WORST Shellac ever. It peeled the next day and was completely gone in a week, when it is supposed to last 14 days. The pedicure chair massage system was broken, which I can deal with, but it poked me in the back on my spine the entire time and they didn't care to move me. I went back in a few days later to ask for them to re-do my Shellac for me (which any place that does Shellac will normally do if it peels or comes off) and they refused! Don't go!!!! Read Less
