I found this nail salon to be expensive. I got a mani pedi, paid an extra $10.00 for their 1st upgrade on the pedicure, and the total came to about $100.00. I was going to my sons wedding and got fingernail polish. The polish on my hands pealed the night I came home! Expect to be harassed into increasing every service. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I had the WORST experience with a manicurist named Mary. I went to her once before and was totally disappointed then, but when I got to the shop today my usual girl (Katie) was already working on someone. She asked if I'd go to anyone else and I said sure. I didn't see Mary there so I thought I'd be okay. Nope. SMH. Mary walked up right after I had said okay. It was all down hill from there... I walked in with a cracked acrylic on a nail. It should've been an easy enough fix, but Mary wouldn't take it off. She just filed it down. When I brought it up to her she said, "No, it's fine! I will fix it for you!" She refused to just chip it off. Again, this ain't my first rodeo. It was a SUPER easy fix. Anyway, I waited it out to see if maybe she had some kind of magic nail wand under her smock that I wasn't aware of that would make it disappear. Again, NOPE. By the end, it was still VERY visible. When I pointed it out she protested that it looked good. Hello? I had clear powder put on it today! It was CLEARLY not okay. At this point, I had already been in there for 1 hr and 45 minutes. Her solution was to take $2 off. That was ridiculous. What an insult. Option 2 was for her to remove it and do it over again. Hello? I don't have time to sit through that kind of slow torture again! Option 3 was to come back tomorrow. Again, so now I have to take time out of my busy day to come back and let you try again tomorrow when you could've just fixed it when I pointed it out? The manager or owner, whoever she was, was extremely rude. She thought the $2 discount was sufficient. It's a $40 service! That is not cheap! $2 is child's play. There are so many shops around. GO TO ANY ONE OF THEM! And then pray you don't get a "Mary" working on you. Good luck, my unknown friends. There are 100 nail shops in the area. I wish I could give this 0 stars!!!!!! The technician got a lot of glue in my right eye when attempting to apply lash extensions, technician had to place 4 phone calls to the manager before she would come to the salon and help. My eyes were irritated and burning from the glue and solvent they used to remove lashes, so the manager thinks that putting a hot steam towel on my face will help!!! Then she proceed to literally "RIP" the tape off of my eyelids like she is waxing me.... Horrific visit, just horrific. Owner stated he would call the next day and check on me and never did. Going to the eye doctor now. Follow Up: Inflammation of right eye with bumps under eyelid because of the glue that got into my eye. $164.00 for steroid eye drops (after insurance), plus the cost of the eye appointment and the upcoming follow up appointment, not sure of the cost of these appointments because yesterdays appointment was submitted to my insurance. I absolutely loved this place! I first went to AMC nails near Krogers and they are awful now so I came here and they did the perfect almond nail shape I wanted and were so sweet and funny! I ended up changing my mind on the color I got (it changed colors - which was awesome but the original color was too blue) and at the AMC place, if you go back - they're rude and disrespectful - but there, they were so sweet and more than willing to help me. And instead of painting over the nails like AMC, the girl completely removed the color and buffed and did everything all over and after my nails were perfect she made sure I liked them and I asked if I wanted an extra coat of polish or anything. Such talented women work here and I'm always willing to drive the 30 minutes from 1093/gd pkwy to come here! And they are very cheap too! At AMC, their Shilac cost $50-60 and here, it's $40! My mother and I arrived to your salon for manicures & pedicures today, and was told the wait was 30 minutes.  We chose to go to a new salon on grand parkway and was serviced immediately.  Quickness doesn't mean better quality.  We sat in the new massage chairs and realized that we should have waited 30 minutes at salon de nails for the best manicure and pedicure.  New doesn't mean better.  I will be in the salon next week to undo what I experienced today.  Thank you salon de nails for consistent excellent service!!!!!!!!!!
