I have been here a few times in the past prior to yesterday. & the manager is always rude, but the pedi & Mani's are usually decent. Yesterday i took my 2 & 5 yr old to get their nails polished. & me a pedi & dip manicure. The manager tried to convince me my girls were too young to get their nails done & stated well if they mess them up we will not fix them for free. I ignored her rudeness & told the nail tech to go ahead & do their nails & of course they sat there like they ...always do still as can be. My pedicure was "ok" nothing to brag about, however my dip manicure was awful. Instead of the drying topcoat she applied brush cleaner or some type of cleaning agent that gave me a chemical burn. Once she realized what she did she took it off & started over. By the time she was done my hands were on fire & my nails looked terrible. I showed the manager when i was paying & she said ok take $5 off & instructed the front desk girl to "clean" my hands with acetone because they were stained from the dip being reapplied 3 times. At first i agreed to the $5 off. but when i got outside in the sun & noticed how awful they looked & how red the burns were i went back in & asked for my money back. The manager said okay sit down we will take it off than give money back. I said no I'm not sitting here for another hour with my kids. So she got very angry threw my cash back at me & told me "they never do service for me again". I said oh don't worry i would Never come back. After going to this place for two years today I experienced the worse customer service I have ever received in my life. I get my nails and pedicure done every two weeks and I had never had any issues. My boyfriend and I have always been very generous spending over $250 at a time and leaving over $80 on tips on each visit. On 11/18/17 I got my nails done for Thanksgiving. I was traveling to Chicago for the holidays. By Monday I had to return as my nails were falling apart. The shellac was coming out. My nails were fixed or so I thought. By Thanksgiving day my nails were completely falling apart again. Today I returned, I had pictures showing them how quickly my nails had gotten messed up. After spending well over $100 on nails I at least expected them to last 2 weeks. I was told that I must have done something different to cause my nails to get ruined. I explained that I had not, yet I was being charged to get my nails fixed. The manager was very rude, condescending, and instead of recognizing that the nail tech had done a terrible job and fix it I was being called a liar and being charged again to fix my nails. I left and will never come to this place again. I will bring my business to a place that understands and provides excellent customer service. I always tip extremely well, it's unacceptable that they could not accommodate fixing my nails and rather that I take my business some place else. Extremely disappointed. Upon arrival the manager was very rude and had horrible customer service skills! She gave me an attitude when I was explaining to her exactly what service I wanted. The only reason I stayed was because of the nail technician Tina, who did my pedicure was very nice and sweet! I was suppose to get a shellac manicure as well but decided not to when they said that they were too busy to do at the same time first and they were too busy to do my friends nails because she did not have an appointment. However, I did not have an appointment and was a walk in as well! My friend decided to call another nail shop to see if we can get our nails done there and then the manger decides to come over and say she can do my friends nails because she overheard us talking with another nail shop! Visited Oasis for the first time today. I was a walk-in for a pedi and there was no problem, no waiting. Selected my pedi options and polish. Was given a beverage ( I only wanted water) and a heated pad for my neck and shoulders. Kathy did a fabulous job. Good nail trim and massage. She polished my nails and they turned out great. Following that I received a shoulder and neck massage. Oasis is a lovely new location. Clean and bright. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Free wifi. Being a Friday morning it wasn't too busy and I didn't feel rushed. My only complaint would have been the sound level of the music. It was just a little too loud, but I was sitting below one of the speakers. Maybe if it was busier the sound system wouldn't have seemed so loud. But I think I found my new pedi place. I've been coming here since they've opened & they're GREAT! Jessica, the owner, is so sweet & runs this salon well. All utensils used on you are sealed of course. They get the job done quickly & very well. They also have many selections for different pricing which is nice. The color selections for basic nail polish, shellac, & powder are amazing. I wish there was another location within the Houston city limits. I no longer live in Richmond, but I am seriously contemplating making the 45 minute drive back down there just to go to this salon. The staff is very friendly and attentive. In all of the times I went there, I never felt rushed or like I was just another payday for them. The gel soak massage is the best. The staff gives good neck and shoulder massages. The drink selection is decent, too, if you are old enough to partake in an adult beverage. Absolutely horrible. Came in with 4 other bridesmaids and the bride and every single person had a negative experience. One person was forced to pay twice because she paid cash and they didn't keep track. Another had the dip powder completely removed because it was puddling up and uneven. Several girls left with crooked nails and uneven color while others were in tears because of the filing techniques. If you feel you want relaxation and beautiful nails at the same time, you will get the nails but won't be in an oasis of relaxation.I get my nails done to feel calm and relaxed from the everyday elements of work and being a mother and a wife.  I want to feel calm and I want to feel at peace; didn't quite get that feel here.  Don't get me wrong if all you want is to get your nails done, then come here but I like the spa feel.Oasis is a business, they have you come they have you go.  Although they indicate that beverages are complimentary with any services that is not the case, your drink options depend on your investment.  I felt as if though the lady working on my toes was rushing and we had people waiting so had to get off the pedi share.  Call me spoiled, but I like the spa feel. LOVE Oasis!! By far my favorite nail salon, and I've tried quite a few. They don't sit there and talk to each other the whole time, it's reasonably priced, and always so clean. I'm shocked that anyone would say the staff talk to each other, because I've been here many times and have always noticed (and enjoyed) that the staff don't talk to each other much like most other nail salons. I have been going there for 2 years thanks to my daughter. I love it there. My husband goes with me sometimes and always enjoys it. Would not go anywhere else. The ladies there are super sweet and the service is just fantastic. Whenever we have our BFFS in town we go as couples and it is just the most fun. Great place to treat visiting family too. I have been going to Oasis nails every two weeks for a classic pedicure and shellac nails; spending approximately $60 each visit. I love my nail tech Lucy and I usually have a pleasant experience every time. The atmosphere is very pleasant. However, this visit was very disappointing. I went in for a pedicure only($27) and was offered a drink . I love the iced coffee there so of course my response was "iced coffee please". The manager/owner said "ma'am you can't have the ice coffee because your services aren't enough, you must spend $37 or more. What?? Are you serious?? Really?? After spending hundreds at this establishment I was refused a glass of iced coffee. She proceeded to say, " but I'll give it to you". No thank you, please don't do me any small favors. I unfortunately had to come back and change my 5 star rating to a 2 star and I'm being generous. I have been coming to Oasis for a very long time and have referred many of my friends to this nail salon. However, I'm very disappointed that the owner of this salon always seems to be in a bad mood and she comes across very unapproachable. However, that's not the main reason why I won't continue to use this salon. On my last visit, the technician that did my pedicure left my nail...s too long and didn't buff them enough so they weren't as smooth as usual. When I came back the next day to explain why I was dissatisfied and asked if they could please cut them down and smooth them out, all the owner/manager would authorize the technician to do was to cut my nails and file them....with the existing color on! She had her slap a new coat of clear polish and sent me on my way. I would think they would redo the nail polish instead of taking such a short cut and slapping some clear nail polish on top. No one thought to apologize once for my inconvenience nor did the manager care that more than likely my polish would chip much sooner than usual with the "quick fix" they provided. I've been here a few times. Their service is fast, but for some reason my nails mess up soon as I walk out. There's no consistency.Also,  I asked for a iced cappuccino, and I was rudely asked "how much are you spending? ", very loudly in front of the whole salon. Second time coming here. First time I got a pedicure which was amazing. I had looked at their huge variety of color powder to choose from and I knew I had to come back for my full set. I had gave my nails a good 3 month break to strengthen up, so I was a little overdue to get a full set of powder. I ended up having Jasmine do my nails and she was so amazing! I like an almond shape and my nails a little longer, and she knew exactly how to do them to my standard. And she even exceeded my expectations! They came out beautiful and I will definitely be back for a full set in a few weeks! And also, I can't help to mention how stunning this place is and the variety of refreshments they have to offer!! I called at 1 and was able to be in at 1:30 for a pedicure today (4th of July, Saturday).  When I got there, I was immediately checked in. They let me choose which fragrance was used for my lotions and directed me to pick a nail color while they got my chair ready. They have very nice massage spa chairs where the back and seat both massage. Everything was clean and they used liners in the foot tubs. They have little trays with dividers that they portion each patron's lotions, masks, scrubs, etc in. Trish did my pedicure and was a bit too gentle on the foot/leg massage but a little too rough on the shoulders and arms,  although I could just be extra sensitive today. The shoulder massage was too short. I'm not sure how long she worked on me, but it couldn't be more than 5 minutes total. This was a pretty unique experience and I will likely go back again soon at least for an express pedicure. I did not have any of their yummy drinks since I am pregnant, but they had red and white wine, mimosas, margaritas, and some other non alcoholic beverages. I believe there is a minimum purchase in order to receive some of their drinks.For any men interested who are unsure, there were 3 men getting pedicures during the hour I was there, so you will not be alone if you choose to go! This place has the highest rank in the area so my daughter and I decided to try it out.  We stopped in for pedicures on a Sunday, arriving @ 4:30, (they close at 6) but we were immediately greeted with a smile, directed to choose polish, and seated in a massage chair. It is clean, well lit, beautifully decorated to feel like a very upscale spa.  They offered a drink too, we of course chose wine, and loved the soft music playing.  Their massage chairs are comfy and intense. You can choose from 5 different levels of pedicure ranging from the 20 minute express for $20. to the 70 minute crystal jelly pedi for $60.I usually choose to exclude exfoliating because the salt is rough on my sensitive skin, but this was soothing and smelled wonderful. The massage was perfect too, the tech doing this pedicure did a great job.I see why they had the highest ranking in the area. I agree and plan to make this my regular spot. Read Less

Wow what a beautiful and clean salon! That I will be returning too! When I got there it was busy but it wasn't much of a wait maybe 5 min. I decided to get the deluxe mani and pedi and it was worth every penny. I sat down and was offered either wine, mamosa, margarita, water, or soda. I can't pass up a glass of wine LOL! a wonderful woman named Tiffany did both mani and pedi. I will now always use her and would recommend her to everyone!! Not only is she sweet she does wonders! The one thing I LOVE about mani and pedi's are the massages. If it's a bad or rushed massage I don't think it's worth it. Tiffany spent time trying to make sure I was happy and spent a long time massaging my neck/shoulders and legs.
