DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T COME HERE...Unless you want clipping of nails and cuticles in your Yeti cup!!! How gross is that??? Well it happened to me and looks like the owner LY doesn't seem to think it's a big deal. I was a regular customer here with Mindy until August 10th (Thursday). I went in that Thursday looking for Mindy but LY said she's no longer working there and suggested me to see Rose instead and I was ok with that. Rose did refill powder on my nails. I had my Yeti cup (with iced tea and with a lid) on the side of the table, mind you...I didn't get any nails clipped because I barely have any nails. When I was done, I went to the back to wash my hands, went to go pay, grabbed my cup and left. Hours later, I was at home to refill my cup and O M G (look at the picture) there were bunch of cuticles and nail clippings inside my cup. I shared this with LY and she told me this never happened to anyone and promised to call me back but I never heard back. I kept following up and finally she said she will review the video recordings to see if anyone did anything. Today, August 21st I followed up again and she said her husband checked the recordings but the recording froze that day (August 10th) - particularly that day and she couldn't see anything. Are you kidding me? Either her employees are trying to sabotage her business or it's a hate crime towards ME! I will take this to the STATE BOARD and all types of Social Media to warn everyone about this place. My health is at stake because of this and LY don't seem to feel it's a big deal. I went to Grand Nail Bar yesterday for the first time and it was absolutely amazing . I got my nails, feet, and eyebrows done. Tanya did my pedicure and Kim did my nails. They were amazing and sweet. The receptionist was also very nice. I only live 8 minutes away. The place was great and the way it is decorated was very pretty! I loved the atmosphere. Please don't come on a weekend!!!  I came on a saturday afternoon thinking it wasnt gonna be too crazy like the morning but i was waiting for over 20 min with feet in water when they said it will be no more than 15 min also i asked for manicure and nobody ever came to do it. They said someone will come in 15 min but no one ever did. They cut your cuticles but thats about it. No good clean on the edges or callus and I did paid $49 for the ginger and lemongrass! The massage was too soft for me didnt even feel it. Oh, and someone finally came to try to do my manicure but it has been an hour and almost done with my pedi. The place is clean and classy though but I wouldn't come back at least not on a weekend. Very dissapointing after reading the previous comments because I had high expectations.I originally gave this place a 2 stars but I changed it to 4 stars now because when the owner knew I wasn't satisfied with the service she actually approached me and apologized. She also discussed my complaints and she showed that she really care about my dissatisfaction. I really appreciated that she actually cared about my discontent and that's what really make a difference in a business; that they care for their customers. This is a really nice and welcoming shop - they were prompt in greeting me. I was set with my nail tech within 5 minutes of walking in. Linda was very detail oriented, going over her own work to make sure she didn't miss anything. I got dip powder on my nails, and I was very pleased with the results and the price. Expect quality service and a nice environment.The only thing I wasn't quite happy with was the amount of times we dipped my nails, they're a bit thicker than I prefer, but still very nice looking. Ly is amazing!!! I got dipped nails and eye brow wax. She was very detailed. This is my second time getting dipped nails. The first time was at another place n it was super thick and did not last. If I could give a 3.5, I would. The service from Ann was amazing. She did my nails which were shellac. She did everything she could to get my color on my nails to match my regular polish toes. Kevin seemed really pushy on polishes that cost more, so I caved to make him stop. I did find a couple of mistakes on my nails but Ann was so sweet. 2 nails have chipped since over gotten them done and that was only 3 days ago. My right big toe has nail polish pushed up on it as well. The place is very relaxing and beautiful. They provide snacks and drinks. I believe they serve alcohol, but I'm not 100% sure. Shellac and pedicure was $70 with tip. Too much in my opinion for how my nails and toes turned out. Sadly I think I'll be making my drive to go back to my original nail salon. Read Less

I've been here exactly twice now, and both times have been excellent. I typically get a shellac mani and standard pedi, and those are the services I've experienced with Grand Nails Bar. The location is a drive for me, but I don't mind for great service. It is in a small shopping strip, but there is plenty of parking, and Richmond is very safe. The decor is beautiful and the salon is very clean. Everyone is extremely nice and friendly, and actually listen to what you want. Jennifer does the most awesome shellac manicure ever! I hate places that go too thin on the shellac then it cracks or peels, but Jennifer does it just thick enough so it lasts a full two weeks. Kevin did my pedicure and it was also perfect. Definitely one of the best nail jobs I have ever gotten. The ladies were soo sweet and nice. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they were able to do it. She also showed me various colors that were gorgeous. They have a wide selection!! The lady also told me the price before she started- so there were no hidden fees. I'm always on the lookout for a good nail salon around my area. This one had a consistent five star review so I definitely wanted to give it a try. The salon is newer to the area, and was easy to find. Inside, it was very clean and modern. Being that it was a Thursday afternoon, it wasn't busy, and I was able to get service quickly. There were many colors to choose from here. The thing that usually annoys me the most about other nail salons is that they rush you to pick out your colors. They were patient with me while I chose the colors I wanted, and even gave me recommendations when I asked. The two ladies that did my nails were very friendly, clean, and thorough. The one who did my pedicure gave me a 10 minute leg/feet massage and actually had a timer running. You know many places do some quick rubs here and there and call it a massage. Not here. The one who did my manicure also gave me a nice and quick arm/hand massage as well. I appreciated all of this. I will have to see how long the nail polish stays on without chipping! Just got home from my first time at this salon and I am overly impressed! The owner, Ly was welcoming and kind and the ladies that took care of me, Heidi and Rose did a beautiful job on my full set and pedicure. They took their time and made sure I was comfortable and satisfied.  Heidi checked with me multiple times throughout the full set to make sure I liked the shape and length and it was perfect. I got the pearl color tips.Rose took her time on my "Joy" pedicure, even massaging my legs for for a full 15 minutes at no extra charge. This pedicure was way worth the $45!! My friend is a regular here and I am officially a regular! Its a little far out from where I stay but its totally worth it. I come after work so its not as busy as the weekends.It's so relaxing and I love the menthol oil they use on your leg massage. They also use a lime wedge with part of the cleansing. I forgot what package I pick for my pedicure. I pick the second one for $35. You get a nice hot towel wrap after. The nail tech uses a timer so it shows I do get a full 10 minute massage. My friend did a package above mine where it comes with paraffin wax. I didn't even know they make foot warmers for your paraffin wax!My friend who is extremely picky when it comes to her nails gets her powder dip done here. I haven't done dip yet, but looking at the process it looks pretty clean here and very multitasking if you're getting a pedi while waiting for the removal of the old dip for new.The staff are nice and for coming a few weeknights, I see a lot of regulars they have.Can't wait to go back for my next upcoming visit! I had a great experience at this nail salon! I was looking for a place closer to home due to my salon of the last 4 years changing ownership and the changes made are not good. I had seen this place driving by on my way to work and saw that it had really good reviews from other people on Yelp. The store is really clean and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. There were two rows of pedicure chairs and two sections of tables to get your nails done. I just needed a  shellac manicure. I was really impressed with the color choices that they have. Mindy was my nail technician - I can't rave about her enough. She was really sweet and did an amazing job. I ended up getting a 10 minute neck massage as well. I was surprised to learn that this place has already been opened 11 months. It helps that this place is close but it will be my nail salon of choice from now on. Since I went on a Monday when most people are at work I am not sure if it is best to have an appointment, but I will be scheduling one with Mindy in the future. Read Less
