Best nail salon in Richardson! Amy does my nails and they always look perfect and last way longer than they ever have. Tina does my pedicure and she gives one of the best foot massages. Took my wife here on her birthday on Saturday. They were very busy however we felt comfortable that our pedicures were not rushed since the technicians used a time clock for the massages. They have collagen gloves for the hands and my wife absolutely loved them. The shop is very spacious and relaxing. We will be back again. Read Less

I have been here for so many times since 3 years ago. Their service becomes worse and worse. First if you by chance just want a manicure and need to take off the gel, they won't treat your nail as yourself do. Your nail is chipped and ruined by their rush hands. Then after your nail is done, you are able to get a fan to get nail polish dry out. They ONLY has one single fan. I was only able to use the fan for 5 mins and there was a lady just felt my nails and saying it's done and took the fan away from me. MY NAILS ARE NOT DRY YET. All of them are ruined when I try to pay by open my wallet and they didn't say a single word or accept to redo it. I suggest to get somewhere else if you have an option. If you say something bad on the color your customer pick in Vietnamese that think the customer cannot understand, you are so wrong. Read Less

This place is amazing! I chose their detoxifying pedicure and was pleasantly surprised if everything that it included. I felt like the pedicure took longer than what I'm used to but it's really because they spent extra time doing every part of the pedicure which just added to what a great pedicure it ended up being. If I could split out reviews according to manicure and pedicure, I'd give this place a 5 for the pedicure and a 2 for the manicure. The pedicure must be their speciality because they have a variety of choices, and the one I got (mandarin) was amazing. There were no choices for spa manicures, though, and the manicurist I got didn't seem to want to manicure my normal nails. She asked twice if i wanted gel and seemed shocked I didn't. She did them very quickly and really gooped on the polish so that 2-1/2 hours later, the nails still weren't dry and 3 were ruined when all I'd done was drive and read. She also scraped the polish off the side of one of my nails with hers and then left that part of the nail unpainted. And she left polish on the skin around 3 of my fingernails. I called to tell them, and they volunteered to fix if I'd drive back, so they're nice people and excellent with the pedicure, but lacking in the manicure department. Read Less

Q-nails is great! The salon has a very nice ambiance, all cosmetologists are friendly and they provide top notch service. They have HGTV on their screens which is great, I've stopped carrying in a magazine/book. There also appears to be great hygiene- the tubs are lined with a disposable bag, and their tools come from a sterilized pouch. They also have a good polish selection. Q nail's swayed me from my other nail salon over a year ago. The main reason was appointment only!!! They are true to their word. As soon as I arrive I'm greeted, confirmed my pampering and the professionals takeover. I believe they may have stopped with giving patrons wine but it was great. You only need to remember to bring cash for a tip. They accept credit cards but you can only pay for the services. This is the best place for up-to-date nail trends to simple nail designs during herbal mani and pedis that smell so wonderfully!!  The staff is very knowledgeable about nails. I have loved getting consistently fantastic nail salon service from Q Nails & Spa. I have been going there for about a year every other week and I will never go any other place to get my nails done. I get NexGen powder with chrome or holographic finishes lately, but I'm general- look it up on Pinterest and Emma cam do the nail work! (with a smile and grace!!!)  They also do normal polish, gel nails and dip powder nails. I will always enjoy getting my nails  (feet and hands) done here as long as I live in the DFW area!!! For being my first pedicure, I was quite pleased! The first thing I noticed was the place didnt reek like nail polish. When you walk in, you can smell polish, but it goes away after 5 minutes. The seats and foot tubs appeared sanitary. For 35 bucks, I ended up having a relaxing time for 80 minutes. I got the classic package with a foot massage. The chairs can be pretty rough for massages, but after a while they are quite enjoyable. The people are quite nice and didnt try to small talk with me. They made my toenails look great and I almost fell asleep from how relaxing it was. The massage could have been better, but she was rubbing my feet for at least 20 minutes. They dont squeeze too hard when massaging the feet. It is odd that they dont allow you to tip with card, so its either you have cash or they dont get any tip.  I cant wait to come back here again! Man I wanted to love this cute place!! But, I just cant.  For one BIG thing: they will NOT let you tip via Credit/Debit Card.  The chair was great, the pedi was great.  But the room was muggy and warm!  Most places offer you a drink, but this salon didn't, which was also kind of a bummer.  But, all was going well.  Til I went to pay at the desk.  Nothing had been posted on the door or near the polish area.  But on a small piece of paper on the top of the desk, my worst fear....I can't tip the sweet girl who worked on my feet for an hour, because of their own choice.  What gives?! Totally not cool!  They had a tiny piece of paper on the desk top saying you couldn't tip via credit card.  Soooo thankful my bff had a few dollars cash in her wallet, because we were both shocked! Always like visiting Q Nails. Been a regular customer when I have the time. First time was about 5-6 years ago. They give great customer service and really understand your needs.Just last Saturday, I had to work till 3 pm and decided that I needed to redo my nails. Called around 3:30 to ask if there was any openings for manicure and they were able to accommodate me even though I haven't decided on which manicure I wanted.Once I got there, I show them my NexGen nails and told them that I would like to do NexGen again but want to make sure my own nails underneath were healthy to do it again. So I asked for them to remove the previous NexGen nails carefully. My nails were in great shape due to NexGen being organic and also a lot had to do with Emma being careful with my nails. I decided in NexGen and asked for two colors. Kathy was very patient and super talented. The nails came out beautifully. I was in search of a place that could do pristine nail designs. I had a picture and everything ready. My friend recommended this place for their pedicures so I made an appointment. When I called, I asked the lady that answered if they could do it and she said to send her a picture over. She confirmed that they could so I gave it a go!One of the ladies did my pedicure and she was very gentle and precise with the nail color. This gentleman sat me down after and said he would try his best with the nail design. They did not have nail tape and I chose to do shellac so he said it would be a challenge but not impossible! It took a while for him to do it and I was semi happy when done because I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my nails. I'm glad that he was patient and tried his best otherwise. I just hope they have nail tape or the tools needed  next time so that my nails are done quicker and there are no harsh lines! Read Less

Be sure and have an appointment! I've walked in on four separate occasions without one, and was turned away. Once, I stated I wanted a fill and a pedi. They started my pedi and informed me they had no one to "do nails, you can come back for that." I took my feet out of the water and promptly left! I've never known of a nail salon that, without appointments they have no staff to provide the very service reflected in their business name. I've never been back. #foxi nail is my new nail salon. Decent nail place, for pre-wedding manicures.  I got the french shellac, aka gel.  Looks great but chipped in less than a week.  I've never had this happen before with a gel, so I am majorly disappointed.My two friends got the powder dipper polish, both french.  Seemed to make their nails super thick, but they liked it.Decent price, easy to find and a middle of the road choice for nails if you live nearby.  Me, I live in Fort Worth and was attending a wedding in this part of town, so I won't likely return. I had about an hour and 15 minutes before I had to be in class... should be plenty of time to get a gel manicure.... not here. at 45 minutes I was telling my technician that I needed her to move faster because I needed to get to class.. this request seemed stupid to her and she continued to move slower than molases in January. manicures usually come with a lotion msssage of the arns and hands which I ran out of time to receive. when I asked who I assume was the manager to deduct the cost of the services that I didn't receive he refused and told me it was my fault and that I still had to pay for it. he charged me for a service that I did not receive! the service was horrible and slow and the staff was not friendly at all.
