First time trying out this nail salon and it was the worst experience! I got my nails done on the 1st of June. About a week later one of my fake nails fell off then through the next week 3 more fell off. I called today June 14 about having them replaced and the lady told me to come in. Once I got there she told me they were going to charge me $30 for new ones. It wasn’t my fault they fell off so why do I need to pay? I’ve been to other ones and they always replace them free. Let's start out with the atmosphere when you first walk in the door. Two words: Modern and Clean. I can't emphasize enough on how clean and sanitary they keep this spa. We all enjoy things that we don't normally experience or use daily right? From the spa chairs, to the endless choices of polish, gel, and dipping powder, I have tried them all. Most importantly, you need experienced techs to do what you ask for, the way YOU want. What I asked to be done the first time I was there, they do exactly that and it has not changed since. This was by far the worst nail salon I have even been to. I have acrylic nails with gel overlay. I prefer these to nexgen. I walk in and wait about 10 minutes for someone to come over and help me no problem. I have four broken nails that I need fixed and then the rest to just be filled. The acrylic is so thick on top of my nails and the shape of them are horrible. She cut me with a drill several times and made me bleed without an apology. And then started getting really rough and aggressive with me when I called her out on it. I get that not every nail tech can do acrylic and I have an appreciation for the ones you can. She left them so thick and so bulky and they have no shape to them whatsoever. The ones I had done at the previous Nail Salon look even better than the one she just redid. She left underneath my nails a disgusting mess caked with nail powder And left acrylic all over my fingers as seen in the pictures below. I'm sure not everyone has a bad experience but I just felt like I needed to post mine in case others were wondering if they are good with certain nails or not. Read Less

This is by far the best place in the district! Absolutely adore the workers,  their quick service, and the results?? O.M.G. I cannot even begin to explain how much I am in love with this level of quality! Immediately walked in and loved the beautiful setup of the salon and a few minutes later (emphasis on a FEW minutes later), a worker escorted me to get my mani/pedi done. I recently took my little girl here to get her nails done and mine too. When we got there the store is big and very nice display, decours and beautiful furnitures , they gave me a sample nail colors to pick which color i wanted , the nail technicians were so kind and polite , my little girl love her nails , I have found my new nail salon spot. Had a standard manicure. They pressured me to upgrade to gel color, but I wasn't interested. Woman working on my nails did a very sloppy job. Her first try at shaping my nails was very bad, they were all slanted instead of having a straight, squared tip. Her second attempt was only a little better. Then her polish application was very poor and clumpy. She went back over too many times and they just looked messy. I ended up smudging the paint on two of the nails almost 3 hours later because the layers of paint never set. I'm also not sure they really sterilize the tools. They bring them out in the sterilization bags, but the colored arrows that indicate that sterilization has occurred were not the correct color. I will definitely be finding a new salon in the future. Worst nail spa! Had a full set, pedicure and eyelash extensions... My eyelashes are already off and it’s been only 4 hours they are suppose to last at least a week. My pedicure that I paid $50 for lasted 20 min! And my nail is already lifting! They over charged my card by $18 and when I called I was hung up on! Never again! Read Less

Really liking this place. Gorgeous decor, and really peaceful. Today I got a beautiful pedicure/nex gen manicure and got home, and my son IMMEDIATELY ran up to hug me and stomped all over my gorgeous feet! I came back tonight fully intending to pay for a polish change, and they did it 15 min before close at NO cost. I tipped bc they were just SO darn nice about the whole thing! 2 negatives I'd say are that I have tried 2 of the fancy pedicures and they just aren't worth the extra money like it is at other places. No one does very good massage, and when I've tried the hot stones they weren't hot and then today the paraffin was WAYYY too hot. They work SUPER hard on the upsale, so just be ready to say no like 10 times. :) :) Will definitely be going back! Read Less

I love it here! Everyone is great. I always get my nails done with the next gen. And they are great at waxing too! It's right by my house so I love that I don't have to travel for such great service. I got my nails done just now and had a great time! Sherly gave me a beautiful set of dip powder acrylics! It was a slight upcharge for the almond shape, so be aware of that going in.The salon is clean and nicely decorated, the staff are quiet but kind and professional. Definitely a great experience!! My middle finger nail was in so much pain after putting on the tips + gel  and as my nails started to grow, the pain became unbearable. I believe it's because the nail beds were not smooth enough when the nail tech put the tips and gel over them.So I came in to remove them (NOT get a new set due to trauma) and the lady who spoke to me told me it would be 5 minutes. 30 minutes pass, they've all but forgotten me, I'm not getting anyone's attention, my patience is gone  and the pain from my nail was scaring me.At first I thought I was waiting in some sort of line, but a lady walked in (without an app, sorry I was eavesdropping) and got a seat immediately. Then it donned on me that my nail removal would probably be taking the backseat to everyone else simply b/c I wasnt paying to get a new set. I'm not a confrontational person and I did not want a scene, so I decided to quietly leave and go to the salon across the street who immediately helped me.This is the first time I have ever had such pain from tips and the same salon couldn't even be bothered to help me get rid of them, so I will not be visiting ever again. Let me start off with this: DO NOT GO HERE.My friend and I wanted to get our nails done near campus. She found a place and saw the price listing, so we chose here. The interior is very pretty, and we were able to do walk-in's quickly. We were offered free water and had so many colors to choose for gel and Nexgen.My experience was initially positive, then it kept getting worse. The nail technicians asked me what my ethnicity was and I told them Chinese. I thought it was for their curiosity, but immediately they started speaking in Vietnamese. Even though I am Chinese, I speak Vietnamese fluently as well. My nail technician and my friend's were debating in front of me whether they would charge $5 or not for a coffin shape! There was nowhere on the website that said they were going to charge for that. I understand that it takes more work to shape them that way, but it would have been nice and okay to state the extra charge. Instead, they debated. My friend had her nails done before me, but I had mine finished first. A third technician asked mine in Vietnamese, "Oh you're already done? That was so quick!" Then my nail technician replied, "It's okay she's young, there's no need to do a good job."I was outraged and wanted to start speaking in Vietnamese to them. Overall, my nails were okay. My nail technician touched my pink nail when it was wet and didn't do anything about it. Some of it was blotchy and the quality overall was just mediocre. Also, he said in Vietnamese, "This girl wants a coffin with rounded corners, it's not pretty." If it's not pretty, why didn't he suggest something to me? I showed him a photo of what I wanted and he told me okay. Later, a customer was getting her pedicure done. When she got up, her nail technician said to look at her stomach to the other nail technicians. Unbelievable! I could not believe how much judgement and ignorance there was at this place. My friend can't speak Vietnamese, but I could tell how uncomfortable she was.In the end, I paid $40ish with a 10% new customer coupon. I tipped $6, but I wish I did not. In the end, I wish I had never came here and could get a full refund back. I will not be recommending this place to anyone and I have already warned my other friends. The service was so "poor" just because I am a "college student" and that I "don't care." Never come here if you fulfill the criteria of being a student and able to speak Vietnamese, because I guess that you won't receive a 100% quality service. This is super close to UTD campus and I had an hour and a half in between classes, I thought I'd go in and get my nails done. They had a $3 off coupon online so I thought I'd give it a shot. I arrived around 4 pm on a Thursday and they weren't busy. I was greeted by everyone when I walked in and immediately seated after I said I wanted gel nails. They handed me all of their colors and they honestly had SO MUCH. I liked how they handed me the nail samples rather than look at the polish bottles which honestly never help. I've been to the Nail Lua in Dallas and had a positive experience. The Richardson location isn't as nice. It is smaller, but I believe the Dallas one is newer. My experience here was fairly positive as well. But the paint on my nails was uneven. They were a little blotchy and she didn't get the tips of the nails that well so the tips started chipping a little bit which made them look unclean. Just had an excellent pedicure. It had been nearly a year since my last one - too busy at work and traveling too much. I was so ashamed at how bad my feet looked and felt (too much dry skin!!) that I had to find the time to go. Arrived at 11 on a weekday and was seated immediately. The atmosphere is clean and quiet, with new chairs and the shelves of polish were orderly. The tech was cordial and allowed me to relax. She was very skilled and had the right amount of pressure in her massage. I will return in about a month because of the very relaxing, pleasurable experience. Read Less

My pedicure was fantastic! For my hands I had just a shellac color change done as I was on a time constraint (lunch break from work right around the corner) I did mention to them when I first walked in I was on my lunch and asked if they could do it in under an hour and was told yes. Overall the nails took a little over an hour, but she did a good job on them. I did also ask for almond nail shaping and was given square but with my time constraint I did not ask her to correct it. I came over this Salon on the way I went shopping at this location. The salon was decorated like a new beautiful style with pleasure romantic music here. The owner and nail technician are so nice in top pink scrub so look friendly, enthusiasm and professional. I had my nails done with good pedicure and Nexgen to ready for overseas spring travel. Made an appointment for a classic pedicure.  I walked in at my scheduled time.  The lady at the front desk did not greet me as much as I greeted her.  I picked out my color and was seated quickly, but I sat in the chair for over 15 minutes without any additional attention.  Meanwhile, there was a nail tech sitting in one of the pedi chairs at the end of the row on her phone and several others in the employee only room coming out with bowls and chopsticks (guess it was lunch or dinner at 4:30p).The salon is clean.  I liked the fact that they used a liner in the bowl and sealed tools.  The relaxing atmosphere was ruined a couple of ways: 1) a chatty nail who did not speak English very well and I really had to work on trying to understand her; and 2) two different women with their 3ish year old boys.  One kid started crying and the other had his phone up so loud that all we heard was some kid cartoon.  While I do not understand why any respectful mother would bring her boy into a nail salon, I also wondered why the manager in charge at the salon did not discretely ask the mother to control the kid.  This place is obviously more kid friendly than I prefer.My nail tech did an ok job.  I had to ask her to trim my nail down more.  The color I originally picked turned out to be very light on my toes.  The tech was kind enough to go back to the color pallet and choose a couple of options for me, but she did not remove the light color polish, and simply painted over it with the new color.  It took an hour and a half to finish my classic pedi because a good part of the time was due to me sitting and waiting despite having an appointment.This salon did not blow my socks off.  Really meh.  Not horrible, but no wow factor. Nicest nail salon I've ever been to! First off, it's super clean and looks fresh and modern. All the nail technicians were super nice. My mom and I had a pedicure done by Helen and Angel. The fancy massage chairs are a double plus. Got my eyebrows done too and Angel did a lovely job. They were super kind, not rushed, and instead of sitting their chit chatting to each other they chit chatter with us. 10/10 would go there again. Read Less
