Nail techs are very rude. I went in to get acrylics and the lady argued about how the nail shape I wanted was very ugly. But it was because if you get them longer it costs more. They leave you when they get your feet in the water. The Waxers always comment on my facial hair and how it's not lady-like. Do not go here, not worth the time or money. Read Less

This place is a train wreck. They need at least one person who speaks english. I'm very concerned towels were used on multiple people so this is a health issue. This salon is pretty but needs a manager and staff that can finish a total job. Everyone appears to jump around and ever finish a total customer. I've tried this salon twice because Castle Nails was booked and have waited over 45 minutes each time: even after making an appointment! They seat you with your feet soaking in water so it's awkward to leave. I won't go back - I'll go to Castle Nails in Prosper. Huge let down. My kids bought a gift certificate for their mother as a birthday gift. Life happened and it took a few months for her to actually get a chance to pamper herself. However there was new ownership and the new manager refused to honor the cert my children used their own money to buy. Horrible worst visit to a nail salon ever. The guy doing my nails not only cut me but then got an attitude when I asked him to not cut anymore of my cuticles. Later this same person asked me did I smoke weed and was I high in front of my daughter who was next to me getting her nails and toes done. Then the guy doing my feet was extremely ruff with my feet, toes and legs it really hurt. And they charge $3 to scrub your heals. Went here last minute on a Friday afternoon without an appointment.  Had NexGen done on my nails in a french manicure.  Turned out really decent.  My only complaint is the televisions are on CNN and some Spanish news station.  Very distracting, maybe something like HGTV or Bravo channel would be more adequate.Not the best pedicure I've ever received, but I will be back.  My finger nails turned out great and I'm happy with the price I paid for the service. This nail salon is great!  We came here for pedis a few days ago. Mine chipped (shouldHave used OPI) and I came back  and they gladly gave me a full polish change!  They were very sweet!  The original pedi was great, too!!!  I would highly recommend Prosper Deluxe Nail Spa! Read Less

I went here once. I mostly go to enjoy a good foot massage, plus pretty toes are a must in the summer. It was relaxing and all but if you can't give a good foot massage then what good is a pedi? Decided to try this place to get my eye brows waxed today. I would not recommend this place at all. As soon as I came, I was greeted by a man who told me to please take a seat. The lady who came over to me was acting really rushed and like I was wasting her time. She told me "go to that room" in a rush (there were 3 rooms) so I had to ask which room. Without stopping or looking my direction she said "that room". Again, confused I had to ask a second time. She didn't change the paper sheet on the pillow you put your head on (it was crumpled and oily). Had to do that myself. I told her to please not make my eye brows thin, just clean it up. Before I could finish my sentence, with an attitude she said "I know". She rushed through my eye brows (literally 30 seconds) and asked me to look in the mirror to check if it's ok. No trimming, just wax. I pointed out a spot she missed, and she said "well it's only a few hairs". Ok? So fix it?? She quickly does that spot and says ok your done. I said can you put some gel on? She looked annoyed and put a little on and said I don't do that because it causes rashes. First time I ever heard that. After I pay, I go to my car and look in the mirror because I was so rushed, I notice more spots where she missed and chunks of wax still on my face! Terrible service, terrible attitude. I wanted to give 3.5 stars but I'm really grateful that they got me in when they did so they get an extra half star boost. :)I decided last minute to get a mani pedi after work and went in about 45 minutes to close. I knew I might be asking a lot so I was fine with coming back the next day but they said they were able to get me in. They were very abrupt though so I wasn't really sure what they wanted me to do. I don't do stuff like this regularly. I stood up by reception for a bit till someone realized I was lost and was directed to pick out a nail color. I then sat and waited, and was soon escorted to my chair. John came over and started prepping for my manicure right as I started to wonder why they seated me if they weren't ready. Again, I know they were busy and probably just wanted to get out of there but more communication would have sufficed. Eva did my pedicure-- I opted for the Prosper Deluxe, which came with extra lotions, scrubs and a hot stone massage. I wish I'd skipped it because I used to work at a spa and I could tell that neither tech was a trained MT, and didn't ask about how the pressure was. She seemed distracted. I just couldn't relax. I will say though, both John and Eva did just about the best job tending to my nails. The polish completely covers my nail and they took extra care to do all the cuticle stuff. Even though they were both quick I wasn't worried about being nicked, as I've had that happen in the past.By the time I left it was about 45 minutes after they closed. The girl who checked me out thanked me for waiting when I first got there, which was really sweet because I should have been thanking them more! I will definitely try this place again, because it really is a beautiful location with excellent manicurists and pedicurists, but maybe just not when they are not so busy, or right before close. I love this salon so much I use them for marketing by supplying gift cards to clients as a thank you.  Upon my last visit to purchase more, I happened to be present for former yelper Skye's experience and subsequent blow-up.  I have to say...people can be a bit dishonest on these posts and her depiction of what happened is not accurate.  Not only was she was very rude and unwilling to bend to their MANY attempts to fix the set of nails she did not like (which looked good to me), her father came in and acted just as terribly as she did!  It honestly seemed orchestrated and, I'll tell you, the apple did not fall far from the tree with that girl.  The staff tried to make her happy but she would not allow them to fix her nails and then when she offered to just pay and leave they did not make her pay.  In my opinion, some of us are just a little more unreasonable and hateful than others and are willing to act like a jerk to get free things or services.  Please try them out before basing your decision on this very unfair review.
