Pros- Reasonable pricing ($) Cons- I have had my cuticles cut so agressively multiple times to where I had thick scabs along my nail bed. (Mind you, After 12x of coming here I have NEVER GOTTEN EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED...)I do not know why I repeatedly made the same mistake of giving them my business. Especially since early on realizing there is little to no sanitation done in this salon. SO EXACTLY 1 1/2 WKS AFTER I GOT MY INDIVIDUAL LASHES DONE, MY INDIVIDUALS WERE ALREADY FALLING OUT....??? ALONG WITH THEM CAME MY ACTUAL LASHES.... THEY WERE GLUED DOWN TO THE FOLLICLE.... After I realized I had little to no eye lashes on my left eye...... I called and went up to the salon. Demanded some type of sympathetic gesture and got EYE ROLLS and not a single offer for a refund. I got "That's how your eyelashes looked before" (when I can prove with pictures that is not so) & "I'll do your lashes again for you?" NO LADY, BECAUSE OF YOUR POOR FEAUX EYELASH JOB I WOKE UP WITHOUT ANY natural lashes. I know my lashes will grow back I am more infuriated with the lack of customer service I have received. This is the only place I will go to get my nails done! They get it right every time, no matter who is doing it. Everyone is really friendly and they get you in and out quickly. They can do any design you want... Amazing! Read Less

If I could give 0 stars I would. I asked for a pedicure and a full set. They sat me in a chair and didn't let me pick out a color. The water burned my feet and when I had my feet out asking the lady to cool it off she looked at me like I was stupid because she could understand me and pushed my feet under the water. Then after she started my pedicure she rubbed each of my legs for 30 minutes a piece. I was in a hurry and I have sinsetive skin and her rubbing them I had rashes from my knees down to my feet. My toe nails looked like a 3 year old did them. She cut the nail back so far it bled then she preceded to cut the side and cut a chunk of skin off. My nails we not filed and uneven. After I got done the lady put my Jandals on my wet toes and smeared paint all over my toes. I asked the lady id I could talk to the manager or owener and they all said no she wasn't there. I went and sat down to get my nails done and they are so ugly. I showed the man a picture of square nails and he gave me long round nails. He cut my skin multiple times to the point that I bled a lot. He started spraying alcohol on it and It was burning really bad. When he was finally finished I told them I wasn't paying for the pedicure and they said okay and they still charged me 62.50$ this place sucks. I got no receipt and I didn't sign any receipt at the counter and when I asked for one they said they didn't speak English. I called my bank emediately and told them not cancel the transaction. I love this place! I have tried other nail salons only to leave angry with horrible nails. I no longer consider anywhere to have my nails done. Simon is superb! The techs aren't overly chatty and are very efficient. Read Less

This place is really hit or miss. I've had good and bad experiences here. It honestly just depends on who is doing your nails. I've had people be completely rude and not really care if your nails are crappy or not. And I've had some be extremely nice and take pride in their job.Read Less

I was looking to get my nails done in the Nederland area and there really is not a lot of options on a Sunday afternoon.  My friend recommended that I go to this place in the mall because it is open on Sundays.  I found it and it was packed!  I was asked what I needed and told to pick a color.  I sat at a pedicure chair for about 20 minutes waiting for someone.  Finally one of the manicure ladies was free.  She seemed to be managing the place I think ... she was the one that greeted me and asked me what I wanted.  As she started doing my nails I noticed that she was constantly looking all around.  I get what she was doing... there were people waiting and she was managing who goes to who next and when.  BUT she was doing this all while doing my nails.  There were times she was filing or buffing or painting and not even looking down at what she was doing ... this made me feel very uncomfortable.  At the end of it the manicure was ok but not relaxing at all.  I then waited for about 20 minutes for a pedicure chair to open up.  The girl that ended up doing my pedicure did a great job.  I showed her where one of my finger nails go nicked and she ensured it got fixed.  My pedicure is still good almost a week later, but my manicure ... omg .... it started changing colors on me!  The top coat they put on changed after about 24-36 hours.  I had chosen this OPI grey color, which is an odd color, but I like it.  The thing is whatever the top coat the manicurist put on changed the color to like baby diarrhea green/grey/brown ... it really is yucky looking.  I am not sure if this happened because of the experience I had with her not paying attention or maybe it was a bad bottle or it is always possible I got into something.  I don't think it was me honestly.  I have had my nails done tons of times and this has never happened.  Anyway - I feel like this place might be hit or miss.  If you find someone here you like stick with them every time you come if you can.  I noticed that some women would come in and have an appointment with someone specifically.  Since I don't live in the area I will not come here again, but even if I did I would probably go somewhere else. Absolutely rude people. Each time I've had my nails done or filled, they break within five days. Then when you go in to have it fixed and they don't have the color you used before, they paint the one nail a different color and they do it terribly. I'm no longer coming here for any of my salon needs. Read Less

I am actually pretty sad with my experience today. I recently moved back to the area after being gone for nine years. I saw this salon in the mall and it looked awesome from the outside. However I went in for a manicure and pedicure and I left without getting a manicure. I sat down and put my feet in the bowl and then the lady started my pedicure. First the chair I sat in should have been marked as not working properly. The air kept getting under the plastic wrap in the bowl. So my feet felt trapped by the plastic. Then the lady started to complete my pedicure without using the stone to take care of the edges of my feet. So I asked about it and when she realized she forgot she started using the stone and it sort of hurt, kind of felt like she was frustrated to have to go back and spend the time giving me the services I was paying for. All in all I will not be going back to this salon. The only reason it is getting two stars is because I liked the color of my nails and the amount of coats that she applied without me having to ask for that many coats. Read Less
