Finally found my nail salon!Atmosphere - checkCleanliness - checkService - checkValue - checkFirst of all, kudos for the service and welcome provided by Tia.  This salon is not the shiny posh salons that I have visited in the past, but those posh salons are mere  pretty candy shell with a hollow center.The pedicure basins are manual tubs, but the seats are comfortable overstuffed recliners.  Tia was meticulous with rough skin and callous removal, which were included in the price of the pedicure.  The tools were sealed for each individual.  Also included in the basic pedicure was a wonderful leg and foot massage.  Pricing of the services are so reasonable.Loved the quiet and relaxing atmosphere where posted signs urged individuals to silence cell phones.  There was no loud tv, just relaxing background music.  It was very easy to lean back in the recliner and close your eyes for a nap.  No loud kids running around screaming.  Also appreciated that all of the technicians spoke softly rather than the constant loud jabbering to each other.Thanks Tia for the wonderful experience.  So excited that I finally found my nail place. Recently moving to Texas, I've been on the hunt for a worthy nail salon. I've tried several high-end/posh salons in the Plano/Frisco area that seemed overpriced for mediocre service. I never walked away from those salons "loving" my nails; normally just "settling".While searching for yet another new salon, I stumbled across Nail Care on Yelp. With all of the raving reviews, I knew I had to atleast check the place out. I couldn't be more happy that I did. This place is amazing!Let me first say - do not be turned off by the salon itself. I actually had to double check the address upon walking in to make sure I drove to the right salon. You will not find luxurious messaging chairs, fancy decor, soothing wall fountains, etc. What you will find are amazing nail techs who are knowledgeable in their craft and provide excellent service to every customer that walks through the door.I received a gel pedicure and could not be more satisfied with the results. First time here and had a great experience. Very clean, like that they use the tubs vs the chairs with the circulating water. Owner is a former nurse and being in the medical field, I love feeling I am in a safe, clean environment. Definitely will be a repeatCustomer. It's been 10 years since my last manicure, because I gave up. French manicures on natural nails chipped within hours & stylist could never seem to shape natural nails well.That is not the case at Nail Care. Thanks to SCIENCE! natural nails can now enjoy gel manicures that last for 2 weeks aaaaaaand the stylist shaped my nails perfectly, yay! Aaaaaaaand this was the first nail salon to NOT harass me about upgrades. They gave me exactly what I asked for and didn't pester me with up sells. Pro tips: - remember prices listed are the base price. Of course if you add sparkles and designs, the cost will increase, but if you're worried about price just say so! - if you're ticklish like me, they will giggle with you as you laugh uncontrollably through your pedicure- at one point THREE girls were working on my nails at once (one on the toes and one for each hand).... talk about a star treatment! Hands down the best nail salon I have ever been to. I never feel rushed and love that you sit in a recliner and they bring out small tubs to soak your feet. My gel manicure stays on a minimum of 3 weeks if not more. They really do a nice job actually manicuring your nails before the gel. Pedicures are insanely amazing. I have never had someone spend so much time on my toes. Love the music, love that it's small, love that it doesn't smell like chemicals, love her super friendly staff, absolutely love Tia. Ok so I feel like I say it all the time but THIS is the BEST pedi in Plano. Now let me be 100% honest and tell you what this place is not: posh, no jets, no massage chairs. Who cares about fancy lighting, music, overpriced chairs, and moving water. What this place IS: amazing attention to detail, precision, great foot massage, relaxing. Mom met me up here after my gym workout to treat me to a birthday pedi. Thanks mom! I feel so silly for not getting our technician's names but they were fabulous. Everyone was so pleasant and I really liked how they didn't rush. Mom went with a classic pedi while I did shellac. We laid back in recliners and chatted it up while enjoying the experience. I love the huge selection of gel and polish offered, and really appreciated how the usual chemical smell is absent here. Not a fancy schmancy place, but clean, super comfortable recliners, great piped in music & the most caring, skilled staff I've ever experienced. The owner, Tia, is there 7 days a week to make sure all is excellent. She works super hard to provide amazing service! Reasonable prices & best pedicure I've had in years. These people are amazing!! They are clean and no harsh smells when you walk in. First time ever going with a group of 5, they stayed an hour after closing to finish us up.
