I've been a customer of the new owner, Debbie, for over 20 years.  She is extremely conscientious and always puts the customer first. The shop is very bright and clean with a flare of elegance, and the service is superb and timely. Celebrity Nails amenities provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience to include comfortable spa chairs, water, mimosas, etc. The location is spot-on and convenient. The place is newly remodeled and clean. I'm visiting from CA and was surprised on the low reviews because they did a fabulous job! I got a gel manicure and a classic pedicure. They were very kind and hospitable. I also enjoyed a glass of champagne.  I recommend this place! Read Less

I went to Celebrity Nails in Plano for the first time this week, and I can honestly say that I received the best pedicure of my life! I try to get a pedicure every month or two and I'm typically open to trying new places, but I am completely sold on being a dedicated regular at Celebrity Nails! I have never found a spa that is so clean and classy, gives quality time and attention to each individual and has such outstanding customer service! I would not recommend Celebrity Nails. I have gotten manicures every 2.5-3 weeks for the past 4 years, but wanted to try somewhere new that was convenient to my work. I will not be going back. It is the worst manicure I've ever had. They did not properly remove the Next Gen nail polish I had on when I went in to get my nails done, over filed two of my nails so low that one was almost down to my skin and is now less than paper thin, didn't apply the new gel nail polish smoothly so it's thick in some places and thin in others (it doesn't look a consistent color at all - most likely due to not removing the Next Gen polish appropriately or smoothly), and lastly didn't clean up the polish lines along my cuticles leaving it looking like I painted my nails myself. This was not worth a $35 manicure. It started peeling already the next day. Read Less

The owner is incredibly unprofessional with her customers. She did a terrible job on my nails and when asked to just fix it, she replied with it's Fine" then was incredibly rude the whole process after. She rushed me out the door and the work was very rushed. I've been here a handful of time with a different girl working on my nails and she was great, unfortunately, I wouldn't come back and wouldn't recommend after this experience. Read Less

I made a reservation for 6 people to get mani/pedi's a week in advance.. When we arrived there were only 4 technicians total working therefore they had to bounce around to take care of everybody.. 2 1/2 hours later half of us still were waiting on a service. I ended up only getting the pedi before I had to say "never mind it's taking so long I gotta go".. That being said the services that were completed were a nice job.. This place is my favorite!!!! I get my nails done with Tina and she does a fantastic job. Everyone leaving low ratings must have not had Tina. Pedicure is great with hot coals! Nexgen dip powder stays on forever and my nails are SHORT! Acrylics don't stay on long for me since I bite my nails and Tina's stay on the longest! 5 stars. No wine, your feet sit in the water for 2 minutes at most, they do your nails the second you sit down, no relaxation no massage no nothing. By far the worst pedicure of my life. They just want you in and out. Do not know why a horrible place like this is featured at the shops of legacy. Please do not waist time and money here. I'm so upset. Oh and to add! I walked in at the end of a long day hoping to relax a bit and enjoy being pampered with a glass of wine (as I feel that is pretty common for nail salons these days-especially in this area!); however, I should have suspected something when I noticed there were no customers. Came to this location with my mom and a friend and we were thinking that due to the area it would be a nice upscale nail salon.WRONG, the woman here were rude and very cold. We all got a pedicure with shellac on our feet so they told us it would be $50 okay that was fine, expecting something fantastic my feet got soaked in semi warm water for 5 minutes,trimmed my toes, painted them, put lotion on and I was done! I was beyond disappointed in this place, I figured with the price we were paying they would have at least given us a nice massage or scrubbed our feet something resembling a pedicure, but no. My entire family (myself, my sister, and my mother - and once my dad, but if you ask, he was hunting ) come here to get our nails done, and even though we have never made an appointment since it tends to be a celebratory event, they always fit us in. We have been here just four times this year, but the manager, Tina remembers us by name and is so sweet and welcoming. The bad reviews I've seen about Celebrity Nails seem to be from hoity toity people with their noses so high in the air they must trip when they're walking down the street. If I could give this place of business a different rating, it would be in the negative. I won't bore you with long paragraphs, so I'll keep it short. The woman who did my pedi was good. A woman, who seemed to be the boss, kept staring at me while doing someone's mani. Weird. When this woman finished, she began straightening up the place, including my chair, by taking my massage remote and placing it back in the pocket it belonged in...but I'm still sitting in the chair at the time AND using the massage option. Ok, I did say short, so here is the icing on the cake. The woman was the owner, she asked if I could make sure money was on my card to pay before she swiped it AND she yelled at a patron's daughter, who was about 9 years old. I told that woman, Tina, the owner, that she was inappropriate for yelling at a child. She was mad but that girl was very happy for me standing up for her. I think her mom was pretty pleased too. I didn't get any services done so I'm just eating their nasty attitudes. Got a pedicure yesterday but put my shoes on too soon so I missed up one big toe. I also decided I didn't like the design the other salon did so I just needed my two big toes re painted. I walked in about 5:45pm. They close at 7pm. The first rep kept telling me they didn't have time for a pedicure and I tried to explain that I didn't want a pedicure. She didn't get it. She sent another lady up and I said I needed two toes reprinted. She said "I don't have time right now" Obviously I arrived expecting to wait but she didn't even offer that. Finally I asked could I wait and she was just like fine. I wouldn't have wrote this review if within minutes of this exchange a nail tech didn't finish with her client and just chill in her chair. I'm sorry but if you have paying customers wanting service and you claim to be too busy shouldn't you at least pretend to look busy? Basically these people have horrible customer service skills and although this is the closest shop to my hotel I will not be returning (even for emergency fixes). Read Less

I walked in and asked for a pedicure and a mask- I'm pregnant. Since I didn't want polish, I was told I couldn't have a mask despite poor ventilation and strong fumes from the moment I stepped in. They eventually caved when the other patrons agreed that I should get a mask. I was seated in the chair and ignored for about 20 minutes. My husband went to the Chipotle next door, ordered and ate, while I still hadn't been acknowledged, There were about 3 other walk-ins after me who were also seated/ They began helping the last person who had walked in while the rest of us who arrived first were still waiting. I began to get up from my seat to walk out with my husband when two of the employees ran to me and tried to force me to sit back down. Will never come back. Read Less
