I decided to try this place out based on the reviews. And I gotta say, I was very disappointed in both the customer service and quality. This place is not high end at all. The polish is cheap, old and lumpy. They used cheap emory boards and nail clippers. So, instead of cutting, the clippers tore and split my nails (which were cut too shortand uneven) When the woman filed my nails, she didn't clean or buff my nails, so they were sharp and ragged. When she painted them, it looked sloppy and streaked. The clear coat was so thick that it left bubbles. I tried to show the nail tech, but she shrugged and walked off. I had powder nails done for the first time yesterday. Vinny was amazing! This is going to be new nail place for sure. I went once during the grand opening but it was packed of loud people just trying to get a good deal. Now that things have settled Down, I will be back for sure. Everyone is so nice. Best nail place I been to yet !!! Amazing people make you feel at home and they love kids to brought my son who is 1 in there they did his toes and put on pepa pig for him to stay calm and they was talking to him just amazing!! And my nails turned out so good as well as my sister in law very low cost as well I normal spend 65 for my nailsy nails was on 45$ so for both me and sister in law it was 85$ !!!! This establishment was once "Ok Nails" which was a decent nail salon, i don't usually go to this place but i live close so I decided to give it a try. The nail tech was nice but he didn't know what he was doing. I asked for a ombré nex gen set, he did one nail (which he took forever) and it didn't look nothing like what I showed him, so I decided to go with a plain color. He took 2 hours to finish a plain set of nex gen nails.. Bad job for such a long time, my nails look lumpy and crooked. While doing my nails he cut me multiple times and was very rough. Worse nextgen ever! Lee flew through it, was rough and it was certainly not relaxing!  I know that I wanted to keep them short but really! I ask if he was going to clean them up, he said if it don't wash off he will. It didn't wash off because its stuck to my skin and he proceeded to clean with a cotton and his nail went under mine..super painful! I was done!  Wouldn't recommend and will never be back. So I went to Alma Nail Spa for the first time yesterday evening around 630. First off I just want to say thank you to these wonderful people for all making me feel like family as soon as I walked in. They are so welcoming and do not rush you. They stayed until 815 after they were closed taking care of me and not once did it feel rushed. They were very thorough and did a great job on my pedicure and Hung did a great job on my nexgen. I will ask for him just b/c of how sweet and funny he was!! I Have so many complaints about this nail salon first I had to wait almost and HOUR AND A HALF before being sat to wrap my nails. Secondly this salon does not dispose of single use items like buffers and files, they continue to use on multiple guest. The buffer the lady used on me was basically falling about...thirdly if they ever tell you to come back and they will fix your nails for FREE that THEY MESSED UP tell them to fix them right then and there because when you come back they will make you pay even though they told you they would do it for free. And don't bother asking for the manager because he will won't be there and if you ask them to call the owner they won't do that either. Extremely unhappy with my visit and I truthfully loved this salon but they don't know how to treat loyal customers. Placed many complaints with TDLR on not only the manicurist but with the salon for having unsanitary tools. Read Less

Let me first say the staff are wonderful. But, there is a young nail tech that is absolutely unskilled to do the job she is given. I am not sure of her name but, she is youngest one there, wears glasses, is related to one the hand nail tech's or either the owner. She "painfully" yanks/pulls out cuticles and nail trimmings out in a upward manner which is a horrible technique, as they should be slowly clipped motioning towards the side or downward to minimize discomfort. PLLLLEAAASSEEEE do not allow her to give pedicures any longer until she is properly trained. I have stopped going to this salon because on just about every occasion I have her as my nail tech.  Potential customer beware - her technique is out right painful, UNLESS you have an enormous pain tolerance level. I cannot imagine anything worse. When I would go here, I would not say anything and just clinch my teeth quietly in pain.
