After reading all of the reviews I’m starting to think my nail tech is who I should be mad at instead of the salon in general but the ONLY reason why I’m not leaving one star is because I didn’t have to wait a long time to be seen. My water for my pedicure was cold the entire time and I repeatedly got ignored when I complained . I was asked to get gel polish multiple times after explaining why I only wanted it on my hands and the hot stones that were used were extremely hot and she kept sticking it under my feet Even though I was moving out of the way on purpose. Afterwards I wanted a simple full set with coffin shaped and an easy rhinestone design. Instead I got too think and lopsided talons that look like I’ve had them for weeks. I got my nails done April 27th , these pictures are from May 1st. Both hands had rhinestones but my left hand lost two smaller stones by the next day so I had to remove all of them. In total I spent $91 to have been scalded , ignored and highly unsatisfied . I will not be returning I’d rather go somewhere with better quality work despite the facility not being as efficient as theirs . In this instance I didn’t get what I paid for by any means . If you are looking for a relaxing amazing spa day, this is the perfect spot! I have gone several times, and had a great experience every time. The new owners are fabulous!!! Lam is a true artist and my nails are always beautiful and smooth. He is the best!!! I’ve been to many salons in Pflugerville and Austin, and I’ve never been happy with the quality I have received. Now, I don’t go anywhere else. Lam’s solar nails look gorgeous for a long, long time and I always get compliments on them. I also get a pedicure and the basic is priced very reasonably. I've been coming to Lam for year's as will as my daughter. We are always treated great. The staff is very friendly. Recently we moved to Del Val and have tried to find some one close for the convenience but can NOT find any one else who does a greater job than him. Not only do we do our nail's but we also get our eyebrows done. So yes we will drive across town for great service. It's like going to your favorite restaurant. Just moved to the area. Visited Salon on a Sunday. Very clean and sanitary. Excellent work on my pedicure and tried the Gel Powder for the first time instead of a basic manicure. Yes, they are more expensive then the "average" salon, but you get what you pay for... Lee is my go to technician. Read Less

I've been going to this place every other week for the past two years. Ly is an amazing nail technician, and the whole staff is super helpful and kind. They do SNS, acrylics, gel, and traditional polish, all of which are in countless colors. They also have a snack bar, and they serve refreshments (including wine). I highly recommend Grand Nail Spa. This place was recommended by a friend. I really liked the way her nails looked plus the reviews looked really good. I made an appointment and arrived early. I fortunately didn't have to wait for my appointment time. My friend met me there in hopes I could have the same tech she used. Unfortunately, that tech was not there that day. Most of the reviews I read talked about how friendly the staff was and how they were offered snacks, water, etc. There are a couple of reasons I'm giving this place 3 stars. I was not offered anything, not even water, which is fine most places don't. My tech was not very friendly and she cut me when using this special tool to perform a new method to do the dipping powder. No apology was given. I was never told about an extra charge for removing my old nails, my regular salon does not charge for this. I may try this place again depending on whether my friend finds the tech that did her nails. The nails came out just ok...there are some flaws which I think could have been avoided. Read Less

Charged me $50 for a full set of acrylics when their website stated $28. Now I did get gel polish so I was expecting to pay max $10 more for it since that's what I typically pay at other places. This place was outrageous. On top of that I was not pleased with my nails. The acrylic was too thick and the girl had no clue hit to do a simple glitter gradient even after showing her a picture. When I tried to tell her what was wrong within them she said they would get fixed with the top coat... how will they get fixed once the gel has cured?!? Do not recommend this place. Maybe the tech I got was new but either way.. you can get similar if not BETTER quality of nails elsewhere and still be under $50. First, I want to state that I am a guy that is extremely critical about everything including being well groomed and I am not gay, not that that should matter. I have been here twice and planning to go again today but I forgot the number to make an appointment and decided to write a review while here, which is something I almost never do. Everyone here is very polite and courteous! The level of service and care is top notch as well as attention to detail. I read these reviews and and notice a consistency of the people who have ACTUALLY BEEN THERE. Then I see the crap reviews, which are in the minority and feel like they were writing a review for the wrong place, pain in the ass fuss budgets or most likely TROLLS who get their kicks from posting bad reviews on people, services and businesses they have never dealt with. On Friday I spent $50 dollars on a purple chrome polish and fill. Before I could even get home the corners of most of the nails were peeling! I went back Monday am and showed them all the tips had about 7-8mm peeled off. They put more purple chrome and as soon as I sat through the last light treatment one finger was completely bubbled. She freaked out and took it back to just black Polish and re-did the purple completely. When I left it looked better but I was not confident that it would not just peel off again. I got in my truck and looked and another whole nail was bubbled. I went back in and they told me to sit down and wait. Forget that and forget them! I liked my visit. I got a peppermint pedicure. I do wish the staff understand you better and asked you what you want as far as how much you want cut off your nails and what shape you want...but for the price they do allot and it was an overall good experience. Placement of the nails are awful! it wasn't until I got home I realized they look like they're about to take off flying! The shape isn't right and the nail tech had an excuse for everything that I told her was wrong! Had the nerve to charge me $46!! I had to go BACK the next day after I had them done and no kind of compensation was offered..I Won't be returning back to this salon! Read Less
