I came in on 5/31 and needed a mani-pedi. I was in a car wreck on 5/3 and my nail were a mess. Regal Nail Salon did an excellent job. I went with my friends to get our nails done and the people were very nice. My friend went to get shellac done and they buffed her nails so thin they started to hurt. I went to get some acrylics and they look pretty good but I will definitely not be going back my friend is in pain and she had a awful time . We left without paying for her manicure . Read Less

I went for a shellac manicure. Halfway through the manicure a male employee comes over and takes the place of my female nail tech. I was getting white gel polish and he said it was too hard for the female tech to do. I felt like a fish in a fish tank the way all of the employees were hovering over my nails while he did them. Less than a week later my shellac manicure had started to chip, REALLY badly. I went back to have the polish removed. It took 40 minutes to remove, and the male tech who removed the gel polish took at least two smoke breaks while he was removing the polish. Again, other employees were hovering over my nails, just staring. I suppose they were bored? In both instances the salon employees were talking extremely loud and most of them were just staring, with nothing to do. The salon is junky and unclean. I decided to go since I haven't had my nails done in a while. ..they were nice people but they did a bad job..my pedicure was not supposed to hurt..but she dig in my toe to hard to were it still hurt and this was on a Monday now its Thursday and she didn't even apologize... my feet dont even look like I got them scrub I still have dead skin on my feet...then my polish start to come off when I got in the car and my nail pop off today..I didn't even want to go back in because of the long wait. ..I will not be returning.. just a waste of money. I just left this place and it was the worst experience. My lady was very slow doing the pedicure and then left halfway when a new customer came in. The lady that was doing the nails on my hands took over. And as soon as she painted my nails, she ran off to the back to talk on her cell phone and my friend's technician had to finish up. Here were the issues i encountered:There was still nail polish left on the sides. Also, I went with a friend and she received a sugar scrub but I did not. We got the same pedicure... at first I was going to let things go bit the more time I spent there, the more upset I got. So I finally said something. I asked for toe separators and the technician said yes, but didnt put them on. My friend got toe seperators put only on one foot. Then I told her my nails werent cleaned up on the sides, she said yes. Then i asked her if a sugar scrub is included with the pedicure. She said yes. I told her i didnt get one. And she said yes. Obviously, she did not speak English well to know what I was talking about. They also had 1 small desk fan to dry BOTH of nails. Not a nail fan, so not very professional. If I'm paying $40 for a mani-pedi, I expect some level of service. I would not recommend this place to anybody.Read Less

The lady that did my nails was overly confident. Not once did she speak to me. They held a conversation the whole 45 minutes in Vietnames without engaging with their clients. This place is SO bad! It's my first time and I will not be returning. First they don't put any plastic bag or anything in the spa area where you put your feet when getting a pedicure. GROSS!!  Then when I was getting pedicure the nail lady scrub only one of my feet, not both. How do you forgot to scrub the other foot?!? I had to tell her that she only scrubbed one foot! RIDICULOUS! Then she spills a bag of wax or whatever they put my foot in all over the place. And lastly when she was painting my toe nails she skipped over my pinky toe twice. TWICE PEOPLE!! How do you skip over the pinky toe?!? I had to tell her that she missed it and asked her to paint it. This is your job lady and if you don't know how to do it get out! So I love this place. Mind you it's not the cleanest place I've ever been too. But they are amazing and do things right! At a good price too so that always helps! It's not quick or fast but they take the time to do things right and well. Which is a win in my book! Read Less

Horrible! I never write reviews, but like others I had to warn people. I'm in town visiting for a special occasion and stopped here since I was at HEB. I came here today just to have my shellac removed as I was shopping at HEB. I've done it myself before and I've ruined my nails. What a mistake! After checking with friend, they removed my shellac gel incorrectly and also damaged my nails...I could have done that myself. Additionally, they have me one price when I came in and then a different price after I had been soaking my nails in acetone for ten minutes. Finally, the place is filthy and cluttered. I will never go there again. There are just too many nice nail salons in the area to waste time or money here. Read Less

First, I would like to start by saying I usually don't write reviews. In fact, this is my very first review. But, I just HAD to warn others about this nail salon. I wish I would've read the other reviews before going. Anyway, my experience: When I first walked in, I was seated and began my process quick. I was impressed bc that never happens, but I was fooled. I believe they do this so u won't leave bc of the LONG wait. Right after she puts the tips on (full set), she said she'll be back in a minute. Thinking she had to grab nail clippers or something, I agreed. Nope, she went to another lady and finished a full set on her hands. So, I'm just sitting there, w these long tips on (mind you, she hadn't even cut them down) wondering when will it be my turn. I couldn't reach for my phone or do anything w the restrictions on my fingers. About 15 minutes later, someone else returns to finish my hands. I had to explain to her how I wanted them shaped (oval) and have her fix the crookedness more than once. In the middle of her filing and buffering, she cut me. Oh, wait! I forgot to mention, I had to change seats not once, but twice to better accommodate her. Which annoyed me. Any who, while doing my nails, I overhear another guest telling the tech that her nails were done incorrectly. After going back and forth w the customer basically telling her she lied, she decided to redo the nails. But, she offered her a drink after :/ . Another customer walks in to get eyelash extensions, and she seemed to be in a hurry. So, the lady doing my nails stops to take care of her. I'm waiting, yet again. She returned, my acrylic on, but she doesn't even it out (best way to put it).  She just buffers and polishes. So, I'm left with deformed shaped fingernails. I didn't even care to argue, I just needed to get out of there. I wasted valuable time and money there. This is the WORST nail experience I've ever had ( the nails were done terribly) , and I've had some bad ones. This is a warning ladies and gentlemen, go somewhere else! This place ruined my day. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I went in for a set of solar nails and an eyebrow wax. I don't know what kind of tips they gave me, but they weren't solar. I have a pretty high pain tolerance, and when I told the nail tech (more than once) that she was hurting me, all I got was a snippy "sorry" and she just kept on doing what she was doing. She also refused to cut my nails as short as I wanted. I've been getting solar tips for 10 years, I know how short I like them, I don't like it when I'm told that the length I've gotten 100's of times is "too short." The eyebrow wax turned out well, but was one of the most painful I've ever experienced. The wax was room temperature, and it really hurt coming off.I was also really turned off by their poor treatment of new customers. I was looking forward to trying them out because I do all of my grocery shopping at HEB and thought it would be convenient for me to start going there. About 15 minutes into my manicure, a woman came by who was obviously a regular. Even though she did not have an appointment, my nail tech walked away from me for 10 MINUTES to go chat with her. She was also offered a drink several times, they did not offer me a drink at all. I understand that they want to cater to their loyal clients, but being rude to new customers ensures that they will not become regulars.To top it all off, the place just looks dirty. I should have listened to my gut and walked away as soon as I got a look at it. If they can't even bother to keep the place neat and uncluttered, it makes me wonder what other cleaning tasks are being neglected. Read Less

Horrible! I had such an embarrassing experience there I never went back. I had been going there for a few months and then the management changed. I went to pay for my manicure when the woman stated that my debit card was not being accepted. I asked her to run it again since I knew how much $$$$ I had in my account. She ran it three times. Then asked for the manager. The manager then proceeds to speak extremely loud to me that my card is declining. I explained to her that it could not but paid with another card. She then expresses very loudly that I should talk to my bank. HOW EMBARRASSING!!!! Everyone was looking at me and stopped working. I wales out and called my bank. They told me that Regal Nails charged me THREE TIMES! I went back in. I told the manager that they charged me three times for one manicure. All of a sudden she wanted to speak quietly. I didn't. I was not yelling but I was stern. I told her that I only returned to let her know that my bank will be filing a claim against this establishment. That her employee did not know how to work the machine. And that embarrassing a customer is not the way to run a business. This time, everyone stopped working and was looking at her. If you want to be called a liar and made to feel like trash then by all means go to Regal Nails. Read Less
