I decided to give this place a try because it was the only nail salon near my house that was open till 6pm on Sundays and the reviews weren't too bad. I was wrong. First off, I picked this salon because of their pictures of the pretty designs, so I went in asking for a simple line design. The nail techs went back and forth talking with each other debating on if the design was do-able. I told them if it was a hassle then forget it, but they insisted telling me "they can do it". Secondly, the nail tech doing my refill was so rough with my nails when buffing and filing down. Half the time, she wasn't even looking at my nails while buffing and hurt my skin. When I first say down, she complained at how "long" my nails were. It was making me very uncomfortable. Third, They made another nail tech come and do my "design" (which was just a simple gold line on the tip of the nails using nail tape). She kept persuading me to let her "free hand" the design with glitter polish instead of using the tape they had. At that point I was pretty over it, so I let her. When I left the salon and got back in my car to fully inspect my nails, I realized how sloppy the nails were painted and how uneven the line designs were. Also, I notice already some bubbles forming in the polish!!!! *LONG STORY SHORT: Getting your nails done is supposed to be an enjoyable experience, but for me I was just stressed the whole time. Such a lovely place!! I brought my gf there on Saturday. The owner was so nice and very welcoming when we came!! The place looks really nice and is very well decorated! Everything about this place just makes you feel so relaxed and comfy. My gf who has been here before says she loves the gel manicure which was long-lasting and there are tons of pretty nails colors! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I was a loyal customer even though the ower is very rude and unprofessional. Every time I went I made an appointment with the same nail tech who always did great on my nails. Well she was let go but she still recommend I stay there. Long story short they talked very bad about the ex employee when i mentioned her it was very unprofessional. owner is VERY rude as I state again. They make you feel uncomfortable bc they blatantly talk about you they literally point and laugh at you in your face. I made an appointment with Rita and the owner purposefully put someone else on my feet knowing I asked for Rita. When I seen Rita to tell her the owner made it seem as it was my fault... And on top of all that the guy Brandon who did my nails did horrible. Its annoying bc he's always bragging about how good he is when his work is really mediocre. I went in for the first time on Saturday and it was not very busy.. I was able to sit down immediately. I received a pearl pedicure and and a color full set. The nail tech was great I showed him a picture of what I wanted which consisted of different designs. He was able to match it to the "t" Unfortunately I never got his name.. But my pedicure on the other hand was beneath mediocre.. I thought the "Pearl Package" was like the ultimate. There is still dead skin and cuticles on my feet. The shellac polish that is on my get have began to peel. There was not a thorough massage given. She basically just rubbed my feet and legs.. When I said something she basically just continued doing the same thing. There was approx 5 coats put on my toes and like I said still peeling.. Would recommend for nails but not toes.. Sorry.. I really don't know where to begin, I have had problems every time I go to this place. A friend of mines recommended it to me, however, it seems as though the owner picks and chooses who she wants to treat appropriately. I've had the biggest, bulkiest nails before. Only because I said I like them a little thicker than what they provide, because they are normally really thin and left easily. They thought they would make jokes and make the nails very big and wide. after complaining, another nail tech had to redo them. although, every time I go, I have problem after problem I continue to give them a chance. After my last experience I'm not going back. I made an appointment with the one nail tech that I like. they accept walkins but the manager looks at me funny when I walk in and says you didn't make an appointment. Therefore, I made an appointment only to get there and the nail tech had called in for the day. No one cared to call me and say so. When I arrive for my appointment no one greets me. After about ten minutes and me steady looking for someone to acknowledge the manager finally comes over and says the person is not there and she will have to let someone else to my nails. I was very upset because I've had bad experiences with other people there. Surely, I went ahead and let the other person do them and it was a disaster. I ended up leaving and going elsewhere and having the nails removed. The staff is unprofessional, they don't like for you to tell them how you want your nails. the manager says I'm a very picky person.
