Girl was in a hurry to get me seated, said she would send someone over to show me colors for the nail polish, she brought 3 colors and I asked to see a few more because what she brought did not match the powder I was wanting. I’ve gotten my nails done 6 times here and I’ve never had a set last for a whole month until I started coming here, these sets stay on, Ive yet to break a nail. Technicians are rude & apparently don’t understand English, they gave me purple nails with black dots. When I asked for a nude color, she said that it was “apart of the design”. First nail tech woke up on the wrong side of the bed second one they sent my way was way better, but as I'm sitting letting my toenails dry where you're suppose to sit to let them dry another nail tech comes and starts doing nails right in my face while nail dust flew in my face. I will never ever give my money to this place ever again! I'm not going to pay for a pedicure and have the polish come off in 5 days or less. Absolutely ridiculous! The guy who did my pedicure was an absolute jerk and was very rough on my feet and hurt me a lot also i could barely understand him. I sent the Nails Club Of Pasadena Instagram page a direct message on instagram telling them this and trying to refrain for putting it online but they opened and never responded and that pushed me off the edge. I'm not really the one to write a review or complain but im very disappointed on how my nails are after having them for barely a week!!! 😤😤 I usually go to Hannah but since she was busy I had a different tech (she didn't have her name tag on). So she puts on the nails and starts sizing them and once she finishes that part, I press my nails into my hand to make sure they feel comfortable to me and when I do that I can feel that some nails are different so I tell her and she measures them again from one hand to the other and says "they're the same size" so I told her again that I can feel a difference and she says "it's gonna come out good trust me". So now I'm like annoyed because she's not listening to me. She continues and finishes my nails and I completely hate them! I really shouldn't have paid for them but I thought it was just me that day since it already wasn't my day. I then go and get a pedicure and that took 30 minutes to find a color that matches my nails...... during those 30 minutes my feet were soaking in what was hot water that turned cold and then when she came back with the nail polish she doesn't re-warm the water and just throws in the lavender scent (which she asked me) and does my pedicure within 10 minutes! So I go sit where the fan is for my feet and im just mad sitting there so I just paid and left. NOW!........ after only a week, my nails are already coming off! First of all. . I may come off biased because I know a lot of these technicians personally, but I do not condone them being bullied due to a language barrier. Endless times I see customers vent in rage over something that can easily be resolved. They do what they can to pamper you. There's no need for the hostility. Most of the time i understand you may feel they are "rude" towards you, but the matter of fact is the HUGE language barrier. Be considerate. Be kind. Everyone is human like you are. There's no need to treat someone like your inferior due to their lack of English. It's astonishing how cruel some people can be to others. There are ways to respectfully resolve your concerns and desires. This is my first time here, its so overly crowded, which is why they are rushing I guess. The nail tech rushed my pedi, messed up the polish trying to hurry then kind of shouted at me BC I told her I wasn't okay with her applying the top coat to clearly smudged polish. She was not nice and I am currently trying g to let my toes dry under the light while they have clients standing while they file and apply new nails to their fingers....its ridiculous. Their service is awful and the workers can’t understand you. My sister and I went in for pedicures, my baby was asleep so my sister went in to see if there was a wait, which there was. My sister text me that it was a 15 minute wait and that she let them know there would be 2 of us getting pedicures. While I was waiting in the car for my sister to call, I saw a couple other ladies walk in. My sister text me to come in that our chairs were ready, I unloaded my baby walked in an...d my sister told me they gave my chair to someone else, so I let the worker know I was waiting, she said it would just be a minute. About 10 minutes later I saw someone get up, I got ready to be called, but instead one of the ladies who got there after me was called despite my sister putting both our names on the list. When I asked the worker why someone else who arrived after us was getting to go first (mind you, in standing there holding my baby this whole time) she said since I wasn't in the building before them (even though my sister requested 2 pedicures and I was just right outside with the baby) that I would have to wait!! I told her and the manager that I didn't think this was right, the manager wouldn't even make eye contact. He kept his head down and just said "I don't know". Seriously?? Worst customer service ever! WORST MANAGEMENT EVER. They're rude and when you ask them to fix something on your nail they have an attitude. They always touch my purse with their greasy hands and I have asked them not to repeatedly. And today when I tried to bring it to the managers attention he became very rude and said if I don't like their nail place, not to come back there. I have been going to this nail club for years. Typically any other place I've been to once they know I'll be back the work gets worse and worse. Not at this place I can honestly say I've been pleased with the work every time. Management makes sure I always have first class service. Pretty much all my family comes here and I'm sure they feel the same way. Expecially my husband he would definitely not go back if he got terrible service. I've been going here for a few months and I've always loved how the technicians do my nails. The problem wasn't the technicians. The problem were the managers. Today, I went to get a mani pedi. My technician started on my pedi and a few minutes later a woman walks in, sits next to me and tries to "reserve" two seats next to her so she could be with friends whom weren't even there yet. When one of the friends got there, the lady started to tell her that they were almost done ...with me so she would be able to take my seat. My technician hadn't even started the massage on my legs and feet. The lady kept looking over at my technician as I felt she was doing so to pressure her to hurry up and finish up with me so her friend sit in my spot. When my technician was done with my pedicure, she was finishing the filing of my acrylics since I was soaking them off in the mean time and the lady rudely and loudly says "oh they're still going to do her nails. I told the managers and I guess they didn't listen". The lady's technician said something in their language and the manager came with two other technicians and started to tell my technician something where my technician stopped what she was doing and moved me to a foldable table they had in the middle of the halfway. So the lady could be happy and sit with her friends. I thought this was extremely disrespectful. The fact that the manager moved me and my technician to a foldable table so the other lady could happily enjoy her pedicure. I felt like I didn't matter as a customer. When I brought it to the managers attention, there was a young man there who didn't even look at me or try to listen to what happened and said "we'll give you $10 off" like that was going to solve the unsatisfactory service. I brought it to their attention so it wouldn't happen to someone else. If something can't be done, it can't be done. You don't move someone from their seat. That's rude. OK. This has been my nail place for 2 yrs. I have put up with inconsistency, crappy service and some real bad nails. But I don't like going To random places all the time. I loved the color selection and the two techs that can do their job.. Really can do their job. But last week, I lost a family memeber and had a funeral to go to and need a distraction. I brought my daughter along and got our nails done. While My nails were being done, the tech argued and told me Wh...at I wanted I couldn't do, (which I have done before) . So I picked a random color she did my nails. But the acrylic was uneven and lopsided. I wanted a butterfly like before, the other tech came and did it. It looked so bad. I cried. I couldn't stay to fix it Made arrangements come back, not even wanting it done free. Just done better. Was told by manager I couldn't get it fixed. Just assumed I wanted free so treated me like crap. Made comments about if I rip shirt at Walmart, Walmart won't let u return it... Uh yes, yes u can. Calm down. I made sure i could. Not sanitary at all .. I was cut by a utensil hear causing me to bleed it did not hurt to bad what really upset me was that the utincil was out back in a box to be reused on another person not to be cleaned . . blood diseases are speed that way . I wanted to make sure I share sinceim seeing other negative post towards this place regarding their acrylic being cheep and harmful. I went in on Monday to get a manicure, It was my first manicure in months, and mind you, I don't live very close to the salon. I got a traditional french manicure with regular polish, not the shellac polish Kevin, the owner, tried upselling to me. He told me my manicure with the shellac polish would have been $25 instead of $15, and I had never been there so I wanted to see how well they did nails before I shelled out that kind of money to have my fingernails painted. The lady that did my nails (I don't remember her name, but she has a gorgeous diamond pendant with Jesus or some other godly figure on it) was bickering with another coworker very loudly, all while taking her anger out on my hands. She was very rude to me and made no effort whatsoever to reply to me when I spoke to her. She didn't do a thorough job of buffing, filing, cutting my cuticles, or sealing the polish (where they paint the tip so the polish lasts longer.) I paid & tipped (20% of the service like you're supposed to!) and went on my way. The very next day I noticed paint was all over my cuticles and the tips were chipping. I called and spoke to Vivian, who was by far the nicest person I've encountered there. I told her about my nail situation & she told me to come in and the lady who did my nails would fix them. I went in last night, Thursday, Nov. 10 to have them fixed. I talked to Gigi at the counter, (again, a very nice lady.) and asked if it was cool if I paid the difference for the shellac polish. I couldn't distinguish which lady had done my nails, so a lady named Cindy did them. Cindy didn't seem very happy about having to do my nails. She confronted all of her coworkers in front of me, trying to figure out which lady gave me the original manicure. No one fessed up, so SHE ended up getting angry and having an attitude as well. Understandable, but very unprofessional. Aside from that, she was very kind & did a great job on painting my nails. When it came time to pay, I was informed it was $20, and I didn't agree. I paid $15 on monday, manicure included. I didn't have the whole manicure done, so I was under the impression I would be paying $10. Gigi at the counter called Kevin, the owner, to the front & explained the situation because we were both under the impression I was being charged too much. He told me I had to pay $20 because that's how much the polish by itself costs. Monday he told me I would pay $25 if I got the shellac, but last night he said I would have paid $35. To sum it up, I was a little embarrassed at all of the misunderstandings I encounted on both of my visits, and I will not be returning.
