If I could give no stars I would. The one sitting to the left at the end did not do my nails correctly last time so I came back so someone else could repair them. I requested that he not do my nails. Today I came to get 2 nails repaired and they have me waiting cause I politely asked for someone else again. After waiting 30 min I got up and asked when I was going to he tended to. I received no response, 2 of them started arguing in their language. One finally intervened and at the end the only response I received was to have a seat to wait. I come all the time and bring my family as well. Kind, courteous, and always service with a smile. Do NOT waste your time going to Star Nails. The older gentleman that tried to do my pedicure started off by putting scorching hot towels on my legs, leaving them burned. When he started to do my cuticles he was cutting me. I kept telling him to STOP but he didn't understand English so he kept cutting me. I finally had to yell out to another man to tell him to stop. He got the manager and I told her I was done, showed her how my legs were burned. She said no problem I will take care of this for you. Stopped a man from another customer and he came to do my pedicure and sent my guy to the other girl. When I went to leave she still charged me full price $60 for burnt legs and cut toes. I was visiting a friend and we decided to go get our nails done. I have very short nails due to biting them. I wanted the S&S powder where they dip your nail. Mindy starts getting the tips out and was about to start putting them on when I told her I didn't want tips. She then told me she couldn't do my nails because they were too short. I have never had someone tell me they couldn't do my nails. I proceeded to tell her that if she wasn't going to do them that I would go somewhere else. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I have NEVER been treated so terribly by the staff at a salon. My philosophy is to review the 5-star businesses to help them out, and ignore the other. But after two HORRIBLE experiences at Star Nails I felt the need to warn others. When I went in Monday for a fill on my stiletto nails I was deferred to Kim because she "knew how to make the shape better." At first I believed Kim to just have a very dry personality... no worries there, to each her own. But after the 3rd or 4th eye roll I realized Kim just had a bad attitude. She kept telling me it was a bad idea not to get the shellac even after I explained that I preferred normal polish, she rolled her eyes and scoffed the entire time she was doing the fill, she made 4 of my fingers bleed, she could not be bothered to paint them nicely, and when I asked for a design on one finger she proceeded to rush through putting the GOLD squares on (I asked for little diamonds or something silver), they were crooked and the top coat turned them a tarnished red color. When I went back in today because I simply could not handle the bad design, I asked for them to be painted with a simple silver polish. Two of the women who work at the salon rolled their eyes, one man said that I could have changed the color myself if I did not like it, and Kim was clearly very annoyed that I had the nerve to paint them a different color than the rest of my nails. The only saving grace to this place is the receptionist. She was sweet and helpful and if I ever were to go here again, which I will not, it would be because I would like this lovely woman to have a job. Read Less

I went into this salon as a walk in, and was seen by Linda, who seemed more interested in texting than doing my nails. She kept pushing for me to get the shellac manicure. I politely told her I wasn't interested. It took her about 20 minutes, to do my nails. She barely filed or shaped my nails. She didn't use a base coat on my nails, and the top coat she used was so thick, that when I sat under the hand dryer, it started to smear. I kindly asked her if she could fix my nail (that was smeared). She used her finger, (and did an even worse job) to "fix" the smeared polish. I was so heated, I just walked out. Very helpful staff helped me pick one of their many pedicures. I choose the signature($40).Everything is very clean. Large TVs and many Magazines to occupy your time while in the pedicure chair. Massage chair did have a buttock massage that was strange and i struggled to turn off, but with some help from the staff we figured it out. Be careful when picking your pedi because some have citrus fruit being rubbed on your legs so don't get those if you have any cuts! A Wonderful pedi/leg massage was given to me by Rose.
