I have come here a few times, but they recently changed their staff and the last few times I just haven't been happy; the nail polish on my manicure has been really goopy and uneven. I let them dry for 20 minutes and the nail polish was rippling. I get a shellac pedicure and the only complaint is that I feel they cut my toe nails very uneven. Oh well time to find a new place. This place was okay. My pedicure just wasn't as well done as I was expecting with my nails looking a little uneven and the polish not being cleaned up as well. The staff was attentive when we came in and was friendly, but it's just the actual service that was performed that I wasn't particularly satisfied/impressed with. My friend got a mani-pedi and while her pedicure ended up better than mine, she was not very satisfied with the gel manicure, with it ending up stained from the nail polish the technician was wearing herself. The staff was quick and attentive, but I just wish they would have been more careful with the actual performance of the service I was paying for.The location is so convenient and the staff easygoing, I wish the service would have lived up to that! We went in for pedicures without appointments, they were able to take us right away. Our nails came out perfectly, we both got #2 (a step up from regular pedicure). My mom had her ingrown toe nails fixed too! Read Less

I usually don't write reviews on nail salons, but I felt like I needed to after my experience here. I came here from out of town and was hoping to have a quick and clean mani and pedi based on the reviews. While the owner and the nail tech were very nice, that was about the only positive part of my experience. One of the other workers kept coming up to my tech and shoving her so that she would intentionally mess up my nails. Although that may have been a funny joke to her, I didn't really appreciate her screwing up my nails forcing the tech to redo them.Also, I ordered a regular pedi and gel mani and it took over two hours. So much for a quick visit.Finally, the price. $65?! I found cheaper prices in South Florida. I hate to leave a poor review, but hopefully this was just a rare experience. I have been to my share of nail salons in the McAllen area and none have left me so happy the way Chez Nails did!! I love love love this place. Sanitary, clean, friendly, great music, great selection of colors etc. I love Cara's sweet demeanor and attention to detail. The shellac on my hands lasted at least 2 weeks when others could be pick off within days! This is my new place!!! Looking to get wax with Vivian or Lisa soon!! I got a full set and a pedicure for $100?!The owner & staff is very nice & they have sodas & waters for their guests. They also have a rewards program that gives you coupons when you spend so much & who doesn't love a good deal. Went for a pedicure last week, and the man cut my toe and it was bleeding nonstop. He said it was OKAY because he put neosporin. I now have an infection and have to go to the doctor! After making me bleed I still had to pay $30 for just regular polish. Read Less

Arrived without an appointment and only had to wait a few minutes.    Had two other manicures in the RGV which were both bad.   In fact, one left my nails very brittle.    Lisa (lady from Boston) fully and accurately accessed  the condition of  my nails and recommended the type of manicure that I should have.  She was quick and professional and I will definitely return to this shop.   I will ask for Lisa and hopefully she is still there. Vivian was rude and bossy.. kept hitting my hand to relax and rolled her eyes when I asked if it was extra for a shaped nail. Best nail salon! I am so glad this salon exists because I ran right over here after getting a terrible gel manicure from another salon down the street. Vivian did my gel manicure here at Chez Nails and her work is amazing! No overlap of the polish onto the cuticles and she was very precise about her work. 10/10 would highly recommend! Read Less

The first time I went the ped and manicure was great. Gina is awesome, but the last two times I went it was horrible. The last time I got my ped there the lady burned the top of my feet. I went back to show them what happened and the best they could do was to put neosporin on my foot. Not even a gesture to offer a refund. Will never go back. Read Less

These guys are the best! The owners are so very nice, I enjoy visiting with them each time I go. They both will go above and beyond to make sure that you're a satisfied customer.
