I’ve been here three times. Overall: They’re a group of friends that chisme, procrastinate, and try to cover for each other when all of their machines break down or product runs out. I speak Spanish and I’ve noticed that they don’t like people who seem to only speak English. They’re really rude to them (a few of my other coworkers have said the same). They all take turns doing each other’s nails and place their own nails above the customers waiting to get theirs done. First time: My tech (blonde) was 30 minutes late and was upset I was there because she didn’t get to eat her taco. She was really rude and not personable at all. All of the crystals she put on my nails fell off within 48 hours. Second time: My tech was so much nicer and she put effort into my nails. However, she filed them so thin that my hand burned when I had to put it under the UV light. Due to her kind personality, I decided to give it another try. Third time: My tech was kind, but she messed up my nails. She sold me on powder acrylic and then the powder became very pigmented (old product) — so instead of doing them again she just wanted to polish over them. I had specifically gone in with a color scheme in mind — but all she cared about was getting to her next client and going out that night. She charged me more for gel polish that she used to fix her mistake — and she had no customer service skills. I tipped her to be kind as it was a coworkers birthday and she kept talking to her coworkers about going to club Fuego. This place has so much potential, and I doubt the owner knows how they act — but I don’t recommend going here. You can get better service and quality elsewhere for the same price. Read Less

Andrea is the best! My consultation for microblading was informative. She answered all my questions and the rough sketch was impressive. I went in last Friday for my 1st session and I'm on Day 4. Okay honestly I don’t know why they hype up this place... customer service is bad, I went during my lunch break only having 1 hour for lunch so I asked if they’re was a wait and they said no to take a seat, so the nail technician comes to me and said “I’ll start in your nails in a bit I’m just going to go eat my lunch” like really what kind of service is that? When you are at work you work! And keep in mind I already had waited like 7 min for her to come and start on my nails then take another 15+ min to eat her lunch! In the end of the day I ended up paying $32+ freaking dollars just for shallac ended up being late for work and her work on my nails were decent. First and last time I will go there. They're unprofessional and while I was there one girl was complaining about a customer who called asking questions... Most of them seem frustrated and lazy. Just bad hospitality, been there twice. Same thing both times. Some of my nail look crooked but over all not too bad. But they still are rude. I never write reviews but yall shall be warned. Read Less

Have been going to AESpa for several years...the staff is wonderful and treat you like family. AE is not pretentious, like some places are, and you feel very comfortable there. Flawless Nail Bar is an extremely clean establishment! It is slightly more expensive than other nail shops in town. However, I do not mind paying more when it comes to reducing the risk of infection. The only problem that I have had with them in the past was when I contacted them to make an appointment. When I arrived, they told me that I didn't have an appointment (annoying, i know) and so I just left. This is the only reason why I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5. I travel for work and i picked this place based off of location near my hotel. Karina did a wonderful job. I have really long real nails. She took her time at getting the gel polish off and shaped them nicely. This is my salon of choice when i come to McAllen. Update: also saw Alda today, she was just as amazing! Plus she challenged me to bring in a cool design next time. She says she can draw anything. I will put that to the test next month. Read Less
