I went and got acrylic nails put on, done by the younger female, and while she was doing them she did not put the fake nail far enough onto my real nail. Once the nails were put on, she also did not care to cut or shape them evenly. I didn’t say anything because I assumed that she knew what she was doing and that they would be fixed throughout the process and look great when she was done. Although when she was finished, they were definitely uneven and carelessly done , but if you didn’t look closely at them, they were ok . I payed the $50 and left, not having said anything about how I felt , not wanting to start a scene or hurt her feelings . Then about three days later one of my nails broke off . It was very upsetting considering I had just payed the $50 to have them done , but I am without a vehicle at the moment and the only reason I went to Walmart was because it was convenient at the time, so I am not able to just jump up and drive 20 miles to fix my 1 nail , so I basically let it slide . Then within the next 2-3 days I had broken 4 nails total. About 5 days after having my nails done I had found a ride up there so I called them and the younger female answered and I told her about the situation and asked if she would re- do them for free or refund my money and at least take them off and she said that she would re do them for me and said she would call me back as to when I could come in. I never received a phone call back from her , so the next day I called back and asked to come in the day after for a 3:30 appointment and she set it up for me . I arrived for my scheduled appointment and the same younger female asked me which color I had on, and I told her that I wanted a different color since she was going to be re -doing them , and she said to have a seat. I waited about 40 minutes for her to finally get to me, just to tell me that she was not going to re -do them .She said that if she re did them I would have to pay and that she would only fix the already broken nails , as I further explained that I wanted them re done because they were all messed up , or I wanted my money back .she told me that she didn’t think she could do either , so after asking for the manager and her telling me that she was it, she also told me that I was going to have to wait ten minutes or so, until somebody else was available to talk to me. After waiting, the older female looked at my nails, and basically told me that it was normal for them to break off , and said it was my fault for not coming in immediately when the 1st one broke, and that I would have to take it up with the girl that did my nails because when one of them messes up , it is their problem . (Keep in mind that I am 20 years old now and have been getting my nails done since about 14 , and I have never ever had a nail break off on me. ) so after sitting again for about 5 minutes , waiting on the younger female, the young male came up to me and told me that she said could give me $20 , and that they couldn’t give me anymore than that . So after being there about 2hours , nothing was done to my nails, not even Removal, and I left with $20 out of the $50 that I paid, for the “okay” nails that managed to last me about 3 days . I now have a bunch of broken nails that I’m having trouble removing . So if your somebody that expects people to know what they are doing in the profession they’re in , then do not go to Walmart to get your nails done. Read Less
