Place was recommended by a friend and the experience wasn’t great. They took an 1.1/2just to get me seated for my pedicure. Today was my second time getting my nails & toes done. I'm one of those type of people that find people who do a good job and stick with them forever. When I came in today both the women I previously saw weren't in so I was greeted by Jennifer and Skyla. Who were both as great if not better than the other women (no shade!). Jennifer did a fantastic job on my dip powder manicure. And so did Skyla on my gel pedicure. And I was in shock at how quickly they finished. I sat in the massage chair at 12:45 and the were both done before 1:45! I'm really sensitive and they paid attention to areas where I told them them to be gentle and with a smile. I've been to other salons where you receive a bit of attitude for speaking up about the service (I don't care, who gone check me?) but that does make the experience uncomfortable so I'm glad they were open to the little direction I had to give! This beautiful salon is in a great location, making it easy to spoil yourself. The ladies greeted me very politely, and offered me to sign up for a loyalty program (which is so worth it). I would recommend Crystal, she did a fantastic job with my full set, French tip dip manicure. Went yesterday to get my nails done - just moved to Mansfield a week ago and I'm trying to find a nail salon that fits what I need. They have you sign in on a tablet which I thought was pretty cool. They assign a nail tech to you and ask you what you would like to drink * they give you one free complimentary drink. They have a full bar including normal refreshments. Definitely loved that! My only issue was the pricing for a FILL w/ GEL - it was $40! Normally that's a FULL SET. Honestly that's a bit overpriced - and they also charge you extra $5 to shape your nails (that I can do myself). My nail tech was very nice but I wish he stated he was charging me $5 extra instead of saying "I'll make them a bit more narrow" - the owner let me know she would only charge me $42 instead of $45. Worst pedicure I've ever had. The nice girl at the front walks me back to the chair and asks me if I'd like anything to drink. I tell her a margarita and the lady who was going to do my pedicure tells me that I shouldn't be drinking and she's not responsible for drunk people... um what? I stand by the chair for another 5 minutes while she fills up the bowl. Finally get my feet soaking. The nail tech then proceeds to fight with the timer for another 10 minutes while I'm sitting in the chair waiting. A good 20 minutes go by before she even starts on me! She takes polish off one foot then says "hold on, I have to call my mom because she knows someone that can work here." What does that have anything to do with MY pedicure?! The rest of the time, I have to listen to her talk about how she hates another girl that works there, how professional right? At one point, she makes the pedicure bowl overflow with water, getting it all over my purse and shoes and she never even apologized about it. My polish chipped the next day but it's not even worth it to go back. My pedicure was only supposed to be 40 minutes. She took over an hour and a half cause she was so occupied with other things. If you're looking for a place to relax and pamper yourself, DO NOT GO HERE!! The nail tech that did my pedicure was rude and complained the ENTIRE time. I scheduled an appointment with Vincent and Tina, who by the way are simply fabulous. I received a jelly pedicure and a full set of nails with an eyebrow wax. Tammi the owner is gracious and hospitable, she very knowledgeable about the services and her ability to make her customers feel at home is why you should visit Upscale Nail Bar. If you are in the neighborhood or have friends in the Mansfield, Arlington, Grand Prairie you should stop by and see what all the fuss is about. Absolutely Wonderful! This is my new go to nail salon. It is beautiful and clean inside. Everyone is always super friendly. Jenny does a terrific job and has great attention to detail. I have been in about 4 times now and Jenny remembers exactly what I like and even makes color suggestions. Nice to have found such a great salon close to home. do not go here i usalky go to tropical which is across the street but tried this place ot because they were new first time the nail tech had a bad attitude and hurt me several tines while doing my manicure they also do not cut cuticles horrible!!!! i gave it a second shot sunday and they sent me a guy who was starting my manicure by removing diamond nail art i had on and he kept hurting me by shoving the cuticle cutter in my cuticle each time he missed a diamond so i asked to do it myself and when i grabbed it was ful of someones dirty cuticles how disgusting and unsanitary thinking someones toe of hands cutciles is being put with yours so we continued service after that they were all talking in thier laguage and seemed very upset and anything i asked for after was a no or we cant do it and at the last the manager that was there yelled to give me the discount for my daughter which is on the sign 40% she was trying to give me 20% please  do not waste your money go elsewhere Read Less

While the decorative aspect of Upscale Nails Bar is on point that is pretty much the only thing I liked about the place. Sure, the staff was friendly and helpful but the reason I went there was to get my nails filled. It was my first time coming here and I am incredibly disappointed. It is only 1 day since I have had my nails done, and they already look bad. The dip nails are uneven on every single nail, the french tip was not done properly, and they missed at least 3 steps from what I am used to at other nail places. Don't go on a Sunday apparently. So today I thought I would give this broad street location a second try. The first experience was pretty good, the pedicure was very good and the manicure/dip was so-so. I was going to go to my normail nail salon but this location is extremely convenient to me, so I thought why not? I arrived at 3:20 and by 4 I was still not helped. I stupidly continued to wait as I now didn't have time to drive to my usual location bc of time constraint. I would like to say they are busy, but really it's not that busy. There is maybe 40% occupancy of the stations, if that. I counted maybe 11 workers here for 25 adult chairs plus nail stations and any other services they provide, ON A WEEKEND. How would that ever work to provide efficiency? The front desk worker was very nice and apologetic. If I had been informed of the extreme wait time from the beginning I could easily driven to my nail salon and got both services done. I told the woman when I arrived I needed to leave by 5, which arriving with 1 hr 40 min time this should not be an issue, right? WRONG. I finally got a pedicure (not the one I wanted of course bc now there's not enough time), it started at 410, 50 min after I arrived. The one thing I will say was that all the staff was pleasant, and apologetic. One even admitted that they didn't have enough staff because it's a Sunday and no one wants to work Sundays. I do not blame the staff for this as this is very much a management issue. I unfortunately will not be back. Next time I will just drive the extra 15 min to my usual location where I've never waited, not once, more than 10 min even when they've been almost completely full. Going to a new place, finding a new tech can be scary. You never know the skill level and abilities of a new tech. I tried this place out because it's very close to my house. First, the massage chairs are phenomenal. The. Best. Hannah gave me a great pedicure. I was also super happy with the tips and dips Kevin shaped for me. They both worked at the same time on my hands and feet. That process is great when you're short on time. At a certain point in my nails today though, I needed to turn off the chair because it was moving my hands to much. I felt cheated. But that's the cost of saving time. Will def go back. I went to get a pedicure and I have never had such a bad experience. They lady doing my pedicure used the grinder on my cuticles! Then later put lime on my toes which burned because she did not trim them properly. Yesterday I noticed how tender my heels were and now I realized she used the grater on my heels way too much.  I complained when I left and they told me she was new. This is a new nail salon in my neighborhood and I usually go to Hawaii Nail Spa and have been very happy there but since I was running a little late today thought I would give this place a try.  When I checked in I told the front desk clerk that I was on a time limit so I was just doing the pedicure this time.  I was quickly seated but then no one came.   10 minutes later the receptionist came over and ran cold water and said someone was coming.  18 minutes later I was done.  You would think this is expected if the salon was full but there was maybe 8 customers there and plenty of empty chairs.  I left and came to Hawaii Nail Spa where I was greeted with a warm hello.  Quickly seated, warm water going, beverage in hand and my pedicure has already started in less than 5 minutes.  Keep in mind all with 17 customers in chairs.  Lesson learned.  Let's just say I won't be returning, and I am now a die hard Hawaii Nail Spa client for life!
