Went it today for a pedicure and an acrylic set with a simple flower design. The pedicure was good done by holly, the acrylic set however has not. Kim seemed in such a hurry and was honestly rude. She insisted they do not do designs at this spa despite all the customer pictures on their page full with nails including designs. She smudged my nail and then when i pointed it out she got angry and gave me an ugly look. In the end she managed to leave glue all over my finger causing acrylic powder to stick all over where i could not take it off even when they suggested scrubbing it off. I went to get my prom nails done saturday and i told my nail lady i wanted acrylic with dip on my fingers and my cuticles looked terrible after and she put my acrylics on and they were all going different directions and didn’t look even! and once it got down to my toes i told her don’t cut out any ingrown nails or dig into my toes really and she said okay i won’t dig into your toes or cut them in there but then she did !! and here we are a few days later i have an infection from where she cut and my toe is all swollen and red and it’s very painful. Wasted $55 (including tip). Went in on a Friday afternoon and didn't have to wait. Sat down and the technician told me she has an appointment soon so another technician would do my other hand at the same time. Had powder dip nail service and was out faster than expected. By SUNDAY two of my nails popped off EASILY. I only visited this salon because it's near my hair salon. So I drove 12 miles to go back to have them fixed. They were nice and apologized and fixed the 2 nails. The very next day three more nails came off. This has NEVER happened with dip nails this fast and honestly they didn't even give me a proper manicure because my nails should not look like this after ONE WEEK. I'm a stay at home mom and I rarely take the time to treat myself to stuff like this. Will NOT return. This has been my go to nail place for roughly two years! However, the last time I went the lady cut me pretty badly on my cuticle and now I have an infection on my middle finger. Makes me rethink getting my nails done here again, and pause at how hygienic their tools are. They do great eyebrow waxes though. Read Less

By far hands down, the best spa I've been to. The service was amazing and the ladies were very nice. I got a full set of acrylics (nail polish) For only 25 bucks. In my visits here I've always been greeted by someone. This time, no one greeted me because they were all busy, which is understandable. So I signed my name in and took a seat. Ten minutes went by, no one acknowledged me yet and everyone was still busy. Then, a Caucasian lady walks in, a pedicure tech stops what she's doing, assists her and seats her to get a manicure, which was the same service I wanted. Needless to say, I'm not Caucasian, but I'm still a waiting patron and to be overlooked, especially with being patient with them, was not something I tolerate. I will NEVER seek their services again. I'm looking for a place to get my weekly manicures and chose Hawaii Nail Spa based on the great reviews.   Just asked for a basic manicure since I have no need for the artificial stuff.  The guy was quick and not precise on polish application.  He left a little bit of polish on a few areas of my skin.  What I didn't like most is he did not apply the topcoat over my entire nail and on the tip of the nail or over the entire color so 1 day later it's already starting to break down and will soon start chipping.   Guess I have to keep searching. Vicky was so wonderful! I'm trying to grow my nails out(always biting them and they looked terrible), and she helped me with a natural look. I was recommended here by one of my coworkers. I always complement her nails, they always look great. When I walked in I was greeted and quickly seated. I was visiting Dallas this past weekend and this place was recommended for a mani-pedi. I usually get gel manicures and they last at least a week. The nail salon was really cute and the male owner was very friendly. Everything started off great. I got a rosemary pedicure that was great. Soon after I got started, I noticed that the girls were speaking to each other(in their native language) which I feel is rude. My salon back home has signs to encourage manicurists to NOT speak their language in front of customers. I think the fact that their interaction with me was so minimal, it made it more of an issue. When servicing others, it implies that your either speaking about the client or speaking about something that's inappropriate. My pedicure was great. While I'm still soaking though another manicurists ask if she can do my nails. So I say sure, almost hesitating. It was a Saturday, so they were a little busy which is why I assumed they wanted to double up. I wish I would've just waiting for my original lady to finish pedi. She made me bleed on 2 fingers while cutting my cuticles. Once she started the polish, I noticed hard bumps on my nails as if something was in the polish. I brought it to her attention, which she should have noticed FIRST, and she attempted to fix them. It wasn't a clean job. Polish on my fingers. Somewhat sloppy. I was tired of complaining at that point and just said it was ok. My total came to $110( my daughter got a mani as well) and I don't know what each service was priced at individually but you get it. Wasn't worth it. I wish I would've gotten the ladies name but I didn't. I have 2 nails that are chipped/lifted after 2-3days of receiving service. Next time I'm in town, I'll try another place. So today was my second time coming here. First time was great! Becky did my mani but today I came for a gel pedi and a basic mani...can someone tell me why I was here for 3.5 hours?!!? Okay I can't either because there was NO WAIT when I arrived at 3:30. I was immediately serviced but my nail tech was unable to get my pedi right. It was bubbled up and she continued to try it over and over. After we got it corrected by replacing the heating lamp, she rushed my mani. I requested the same color I got two weeks prior (which was the color I was wearing when she took it off my nails) and I got the wrong color. The thing that made me mad was they insisted that it was the same color!! Becky, from my first appointment came over and said the color wasnt the same and she doesn't know how the numbers got mixed up and they still tried to act like I was trippin...yeah...no!!!  Please see the photos attached of the final product...oh and that's not the color I asked for but I had been here for 3 hours at this point I just wanted to leave!Today was my anniversary and I just wanted to get my toes and nails right for pics and it turned into a 3 hour ordeal. Oh my goodness, so glad we found this place! Lovely, clean decor (frozen margaritas are a nice touch), best massage chairs with extra features that help you and your nail tech stay comfortable during all those potentially awkward positions, friendly staff with very involved owners, and great technical work. I had a dip manicure on my very short nails which turned out wonderfully and my gel pedicure was great as well - my technician spent a lot of time making repairs I needed without rushing, though it was the end of the work day. Girlfriend went in for a basic pedicure. It was below average for the $45 that was charged. Whoever did it rushed, and horribly painted her nails. Along with that, she developed an infection, or fungus on 2 of her toe nails. As a result, a $45 lackluster pedi turned into a $250 podiatry bill. Read Less

Very well kept and clean. Nail technicians are friendly and quick on service. They do have a loyalty program if you sign up you get discounts on future visits. This was my first time going to this nail salon. I was greeted when I walked in and was seated right away. My nail tech was Skyla, she did a really great job with my nails, I had a full set with dip powder on a coffin shape. Skyla did exactly as I asked and got the shape I wanted. Her personality was nice and funny too. I was offered a beverage (soda, water, wine, or margarita)I picked the margarita. Service was good, but disappointed with the actual work done. Went on April 15 in the afternoon. The girl who did my nails said they don't have breaks so perhaps the staff are too tired and hungry to get the job done well. Gel polish after 7 days had a small crack. I have been here 2 times, and both times have been great! I love that it DOES NOT SMELL like a nail salon at all. The staff gets you in and seated quickly. TONS of nail colors and styles/techniques to choose from too. The chairs are super comfy as well. Tried this out two weeks ago and despite being quite busy on a Sunday, they immediately got me to a spa chair for a pedicure. Service was good but there was quite a language barrier between my nail tech and me. I was not pleased with how she filed my nails, she rubbed the top of them with the filing sponge quite carelessly to the point where it rubbed scabs on two of my toes, making parts of the rest of the service painful. Chose to have a nail dip done on my fingers, was supposed to be a coral color that matched my toes but it came out more hot pink, which was not great but the quality was good. I took my granddaughter for a polish change and I was going for a mani and pedi. They took her to a table where I could not see her at all. As I signed in I felt the place was very warm. I asked if they could lower the temp a little bit and they nodded. While doing my pedi I again asked to lower the temp. They yelled at somebody and this lady owner came over in a huff and asked if i wanted to ask her a question. I asked if she could lower the temp. It felt like 80. She said then the other people will be cold. I told her okay but that I would not be returning. Then she went to the AC but who knows if she turned it down or not. My normal nail salon, my go to girl is on vaca for 3 weeks to Hawaii, tough life!!  So, my nails and toes were screaming for some major attention and I could wait no longer.  After an extensive search on Yelp, I decided to try another salon in my hometown.  My luck in my hometown has not been that great, the salons are popping up, the prices are rising and the quality is suffering.  Your techs are not staying and I feel you are paying more for a building with fancy lights and employees that look so beat down.My daughter age 11 and I went for pedis and I needed a fill on the SNS dip and she also got a new set of the dip.  She had the green tea pedi, I had the Hawaiian pedi, hers was 50 min, mine was 55, both were superb.  Loved the fact that they really took the time to do a good massage and they had timers so we DID get our allotted time.  Both of us added gel polish to our toes, our choice, not suggested, and my daughter asked for nail art, not suggested.  There was no up selling and this was great.  No pressure.They did start working on our nails while we were having our pedis and that is always nice.  I am a real stickler on my nails, I wear the coffin shape and getting that shape down is hard for some techs.  They nailed it...on point.  My only complaint is that the dipped my nails in the color only three times so the color isn't as solid on the tips as I am familiar with.  The thickness is perfect, shape and curve is amazing.  My daughters nails were the perfect shape and length for her age.  The salon was very busy, no customers waited long for service, we were walk-ins and were seated and started right away.  The sound level was very nice, not a lot of talking, such a pleasure for a Saturday.The nice bonus when checking out, they knew we were new to the salon, and told us about the rewards program, every $100.00 spent you get 5% credit.  Great reason to return!Thanks! Hawaii Nails has passed 'my' 6 month probation period. I'm a loyal customer ~ a very PICKY customer and one that expects 5 Star service. I've been faithfully going every 2 weeks for 8 months.Customer Service - Great; my one take away is the managers empathy for clients. They care- they want happy customers. He walks around asking all the clients if they are ok and if there is anything he can do to to help them. He runs a tight shop; making sure all the service providers are attending to customers efficiently. Very important to note; if you are not happy with any part of your service... SAY something because they will make sure you are right before leaving.Nails - Nika does my nails - she is the BEST, very detailed, attentive & sensitive to all of my request. She makes great suggestions when I'm baffled with many ideas. Always makes sure I leave a Happy Women (which is not always easy).Pedicures - I've always been satisfied with my service I prefer Meme (the younger lady). She gets 'me' & has patience and executes with confidence. And... Went  here because of all the good reviews but was dissapointed. The salon was nice but the girl that did my nails wasnt up to par. She took 1 1/2 hours for a gel polish fill.  It was a beating!
