We will not return. They do NOT listen to the customer and do not understand English language. They will cut and do as they wish so beware! I have been going here for years. I have never had anything but wonderful service. I WILL tell you that I go to the salon to relax and be pampered a bit, not to listen to a special needs child who is uncomfortable and distressed get more and more agitated. Perhaps one should concern themselves more with the needs of the child. Do your nails when you have free time not when taking care of a special needs person. I know I don't like being made to sit and wait without distraction for more than an hour. How was he supposed to react? This place is always busy. I used to go here all the time until the young man there sanded my nail down until it was bleeding. He was in such a hurry. I left there very unhappy. I paid $35.00 for a refill and came out with my fingers hurting so bad I could hardly touch them. He didn't even touch up the white growth line on the tips. It looked like they had never been refilled. If they would make appointments and stick to them instead of walk in's they would be fine. It's just when they have people lined up and they get in to big of a hurry. Not a safe place to go. Watch getting your feet done also. I went there today to get a mani and pedi. The first girl who did my toes was great. While she started my nails the girl beside me refused to allow another girl to do her nails. So the girl doing mine walked to her and the lady no one wanted came to do mine. She hurt my finger and when I jerked it back she told me I was sensitive. When I got to the car that finger was bleeding. So I was not being sensitive. She actually cut my finger. I sent a picture of my nails to my husband and he said "wow did Brooke paint those?" Brooke is my nine year old daughter....... lol. There is more paint on my skin and cuticles than on the actual nails themselves. This was my third time going there and I guess I won't be back now. Sharing for a friend: I'm not sure what happened to my last post, but this is My son Kevin. I need your helpfb friends. As you can tell he is mentally and physically disabled, can't walk, can't talk so I will speak for him today. On my way home from work today I got a very disturbing phone call from his caregiver. She took him out today when he got in from school and decide to get her nails done at a local nail salon, " SLICK SPA". While waiting, and after she paid, Kevin's ...8" pad ran out of battery life and went dead, he LOVES his pad. He began to fuss a little wanting her to fix it. He yelled a little with other costumers in the business. The owner came out and asked her to leave, he was causing a scene and disturbing the other clients. She said fine, but I've already paid, give me my money back and we will go. He refused saying no money back, he is making customers uncomfortable,she refused to leave. The ladies in the salon stated that he was not bothering them what so ever. The owner then calls the police to have them removed. The officer that arrives just happens to know Kevin, he works at the school during the day. as most around town does, and gets his attention. First thing Kevin wants is a hug. The owner then takes the officer outside telling him that he is screaming, crying, and causing a scene making the customers uncomfortable. One lady over hears this and tells the officer it's not true. The officer then goes and gets kevin some M&M's and he sits there as she gets her nails done. After witnessing this 2 ladies vows not to go back after seeing this that this "man" had done to this boy. I ask that you, my friends, to NOT do business with this heartless, low life, piece of human garbage ever again! This guy doesn't deserve your money or a place in this town. It was all I could do not to pay him a visit myself! Please help me get this out there and shut this useless waste of human $h!t down! The manager or owner tried to have a special needs young man removed with a police officer for no reason other than the young man was upset when the battery died on his electronics. No customers complained. No one was upset. The police officer came and did not remove him because HE was NOT the problem ~ too bad the police office didn't remove the real problem which was the man who called them. Read Less

The owner of this business can easily be considered as one of the most prejudice, ignorant, DISCRIMINATING, hateful men who doesn't deserve any further business or profit. He called the police on my mentally handicap cousin to try to remove him from his property because he is a shallow low life, throwing judgement and hate towards people who are the most enlightening, loving, special people on this planet. He claimed the other customers where complaining about him even though after asking nobody was uncomfortable or offended by his beautiful presence at all. I have been here in the past and received an okay mani and pedi. I recently went back and recived the worst mani and i canceled my pedi before they started. The guy who was doing my nails cut me twice and refused to use cuticle clippers because i had alot of cuticles to cut. he insisted to use the machine file they use to grind your nails thin for false nails. I stopped him after the mani. left without polish and didnt let them touch my feet. Although i did see them using razor cutters on people feet so there was no way i was going to allow them to touch my feet. Spare yourself. Avoid this place. Read Less

A man did my nails, he did an excellent job. (didn't get his name) I think he was the owner.  He spoke pretty good English.  Its hard to find a place where you can understand everything they say.   Usually a full set is thick and wide. After applying the powder and was about to file my nails  I asked him to file them narrow and he made them look natural and thin and they turned out very pretty.  But he did ask for next time to let him know before he applied the powder because he did have to file a lot to make them narrow and more natural looking.  So, now I know. While I was getting my pedicure he was doing my nails so I had to turn my body so that he could work on my other hand.  45 minutes of twisting my body and holding my arm to reach across my body is very uncomfortable.  By the end of the 45 minutes my back was killing me and my arm felt sore.  The pedicure was rough.  Like another reviewer said, it felt very mechanical.  Too rough!!!  I probably wont get a pedi there again.  So a combination of a sore back and a rough pedicure wasn't my most relaxing spa day. That's why I took 2 stars off the rating.  But like I said my nails turned out so pretty and that alone is enough to make me return. Ive never had my nails look this nice with a natural form. ( I hate that boxy wide thick clunky look a lot of places do.)  So Ill be back maybe NOT for a pedi...but I can always do that on my own. Read Less
