I came here with my sister and friend (bride to be). The staff was not welcoming nor approachable when I asked why my simple shellac was over priced. I then proceeded to ask for a student discount and he denied it even though the person in front of me received the discount. It was my first time to this salon and Phi did a great job on both my pedi and shellac manicure. He was skilled and friendly. He wasn't overly aggressive with his tools the way some technicians can be, so nothing ever hurt. The hot stone massage was awesome! Had one of the best pedis ever here. I also got my nails dipped and they were perfectly shaped, used little to no drilling, and they kept product on my nail bed got 0 on my skin. Favorite place in LBK!! Went to a few different ones before until I finally came across a good one! I hate trying new places but they didn't let me down! My experience with Vogue started from the phone call I made. My mother wanted to get her nails done since about a week before we came in. We were out and about running errands and lost track of time. It was 5:30 and vogue closes at 6 on Sunday's, so I called because I didn't want to be those "last minute pain in the butt" customers haha so I asked if they would still take my mom in and their response was "oh yeah of course! If our doors are open, you are welcome in and we'll take care of you!" And the man sounded genuinely nice. Not fake nice. Once we came in, they greeted us well and right away took care of us. The man that greeted us also informed us about the differences in nail choices and everything. While my mother was getting her nails done, I proceeded with a pedicure. I'm not a fan of people touching my feet and the last pedicure experience I had, the man cut my foot. BUT not JenLi (I'm not sure if I'm spelling that right), she took her time with my feet and didn't cut me haha. Overall everyone has been friendly (I'm writing this as I get my pedicure). I spilled my water (clumsy me) but none of the employees seemed bothered that I accidentally dropped my water, instead the man was very friendly as he cleaned up and told me he cared about the safety that I don't slip on my water haha. I also saw a mother come in with her two daughters ten minutes after closing but they still took them in AND took really good care of them all, the daughters got pedicures and the men changed the TV's to whatever the little girls wanted to watch. Yelpers, you didn't let me down!! Went here today for the first time and had the best experience! My technician was Paul and he was so great! Very attentive and very nice! I had to wait a little while, but as a walk in on a Saturday I totally expected it. I had the Happy Feet pedicure with coconut which was one of the best I have had anywhere!! My feet are still feeling amazing even several hours later. I loved the hot stones, hot wax, massage and hot towels. I also had a shellac mani that was nice, too. I can't say it was the best I have ever had, but my nails look good and I would go back for the mani!The ambiance here is lovely. Sounds of running water, nice massage chairs, complimentary beverages (the margarita is pretty good!), sanitary disposable liners in the pedi tubs and friendly employees really make this place stand out from the rest!! They stayed Open right as they were closing I walked in I didn't realize what time it was they gave me full service very very friendly staff!! wonderful pedicure in wonderful nails the nails are not thick they are thin and great job. What a waste of $30 for a gel manicure. I was literally out in 20 minutes. The lady who did my manicure kept telling me I had a lot of cuticles and kept showing me my skin. Well...duh..that's why I'm getting a manicure!!! She rushed and did a beyond horrible job. My nails looked like a 5 year old painted them. Wow! I can't even begin to say how ridiculous my experience was at this place. They have price quotes on the wall and then they bring you a menu to choose a pedicure. As soon as you say you want the minimum, they start talking about you in their native language. I had to ask for something to drink while others were offered wine, cokes, etc. I didn't get a full pedicure and I paid 28.00! They don't include callous and liner scrub! What crap! Then their sign said the shellac was 20.00! I will say he did a good job on that. However, I was charged 30.00! So my 40.00 pedi/shellac mani turned into a 60.00 bill! This place is clean and not far from where I live.  And the price of their services isn't bad.  But one of their employees is a real douche bag.  Last night, I went there to get a waxing. The man who did it said "You have a lot of hair" as he pulled the wax strips off of my neck.  I still have some money on a gift certificate for this place and intend to use it. But once this gift certificate is used up, I will never go here again.  I asked my husband to buy my gift certifcates elsewhere in the future.  There is no excuse for an employee being such a dick!
