I went here after work yesterday, a Tuesday. I asked for a manicure with shellac and was promptly directed to pick out a color on a glass bar. Then I remained standing there for about 5 minutes with everyone’s head buried in their work. Then a lady came and directed me to sit at chair 12. There I sat while she proceeded to work on the second lady who had just finished her pedicure. I understand this costumer was there before me but this could have been communicated to me. Maybe have me sit in the waiting area or maybe offer me to soak my fingers in warm water while I wait. Once finished with the second customers removal and new powder dip, the lady began to grind my nails. I had bare nails that have not had shellac or dip in over 6 months. The initial color I asked for wasn’t available, a pale pink. No big deal, but instead of helping me find a comparable color the lady tells me to get powder as “it’s better for my nails”. I kindly decline and pick another shellac color. She begins painting my nails and doesn’t finish my service before another customer comes in. She was obviously a repeat customer which is great, but the door clearly states walk ins welcomed. After my polish job is done she asks me if I like the paint. I point out polish on my skin and ask if she could please fix because I know as my nail grows it will peel the polish off. She pulls my hand and annoyingly states she’ll fix it for me as if she already knew this was a problem. She fixed it by grinding the area off, it looked fine then. She said “see I fixed it for you, okay?” In a frustrated tone. I feel I’m a friendly and reasonable person so thought her responses were unwarranted. She then directed me to wash my hands. Another customer and I reached the sink at the same time. I let her wash her hands first as the left sink was filled w brushes, I am uncertain if they were clean or dirty. The other customer also took the last brush. I walked back to the nail desk and the lady working on the other customer told me to go checkout. I waited again and then paid. I thought it was odd that I was never prioritized. I understand places get busy but customers have to be first. I never felt welcomed. I’ve never had a manicure where my cuticles are not cleaned up and where you don’t have lotion or cuticle oil Applied after the manicure. They were some of the rudest people I’ve ever met!!! They told me I couldn’t get dip with long nails considering my nails were already done long with dip!! The. The color I chose I didn’t like it own and told her that before she continued and told me I had to stick with the color because it all read dried because she was to lazy to soak it off!! The she has the audacity to get mad at me because I told her my thumb was crooked and it needed to be fixed and she rolled her eyes at me!!! And when it came down to pay she then had the nerve to say you not going to tip!! Coming from a person who works in the service industry it’s really hard for me not to tip but the service I received was completely awful!!! I will never be back!! Read Less
