I was hesitant to go in at first as I had been there several years ago and hated it; BUT was reassured that this salon now has a new owner. It did and I’m glad I went in. Stephen and Hannah were so nice and did such a great job. I have been to several salons since moving back to Lubbock in the high end side and I can tell you all they did was make a mess and an expensive price. NOT HERE. I was not pressured to buy something I didn’t want. They simply did as I asked and did a superb job. This salon still carries the Nail Palace name but it is so much better now with the new owner!!!very patient with all the clients and very kind and took their time. Some of the past reviews are not about this new owner since he has just very recently bought this place and what a mess this poor owner had to fix! I’m proud of the job they have done and the quality of work they do. I use to live in San Antonio and hwould hold Steven’s work among any of those high end salons in Stone Oak! I loved the way my manicure came out...I normally do a French ombre stilletto look, and anywhere else Ive requested this style, claim to not be able to do it, but nails palace does an amazing job!! They take their time and made sure I was happy with the shaping and length before they continued to the next step. I've gotten this done multiple times here and every single time the work done was immaculate! I will be going back soon! The only thing I would recommended would be to have more technicians available. They seem to be a little short staffed when I go there...but they get the job done!!Read Less

This was my nail salon of choice until the ownership changed, but I decided to still give them a try. The man that runs the place is fantastic. He even purchased a nail color that I asked about but did not have. The next time I came in, he remembered and told me about the new colors they purchased. At my most recent visit it took 2 hours for a gel manicure and basic pedicure. They always seem understaffed. During my manicure, I was cut very badly on two fingers. One finger continued to bleed an hour after I left the salon. The woman doing my nails began to paint my nails over the drying blood and had to continually wipe off the blood that wouldn't stop. I told her I needed to wash my hands and get the blood off, but instead she doused my fingers in acetone and kept on painting. It hurt and didn't stop the bleeding. I mentioned several times my fingers needed to be cleaned and she disregarded my request. She continued the manicure sealing the drying blood into the nail polish. They looked terrible and are very sore now from the cuts. Because of this awful experience and consistently long wait times, I will no longer be a customer.Read Less

They are under New ownership now and the store is immaculate!!! Lock and his sister are brilliant and I get compliments on my nails at least 4 times a day. Going back I 2 weeks for another fill!!!!!!! Read Less

Ever since they got a new owner it has gone way way down hill. I have been going to the same nail lady, Jenny, for 3 years. I called up there one day and they scheduled me an appointment and asked for Jenny and they said they'd schedule it for me. Well I let them and showed up and Jenny wasn't even there that day! They tried setting me up with one of the new people they brought and i left. I went up there one day and spoke to my nail tech and told her what happened and she ga...ve me her personal number. She ended up leaving and moving to a new nail place. Well I forgot to delete the old number and accidentally called this place.. I asked for Jenny 3 times and they kept trying to say "yes, you can have an appointment with Jenny, when is good?" This was odd to me and I realized I didn't call the correct number. I told them Jenny was not there anymore and they STILL tried scheduling me with one of their new people. They do not do what you ask, and try and trick you into getting your nails done by one of their new people instead of the person I've been with FOREVER. If I could leave negative stars I would omg they are not sanitary she pulled her tools for my pedicure out of a Tin can not a clean plastic utensils sealed saying sanitized for your safety! Please do not come here!Read Less
