I was a loyal customer until today. The old man who did my nails was absolutely awful. He rushed through my shellac manicure and was pretty rude. He also over charged me because I didn’t get the massage that comes with the manicure. My nails and hands look and feel so dry as well. He also refused to cut my nails shorter than what HE wanted. He never asked me what shape I wanted my nails either and he just assumed I had never had my nails done before. He also man handled my hands and was really rough and aggressive. I will NEVER be coming back to this nail salon after today. I was disrespected and didn’t feel like my time was valued. Don’t come here unless you want a horrible experience all around. Read Less

They have several wonderful nail techs. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but they are all good. Tom is the only one who seems to do solar but they have 2 or 3 who do the dip nails. Pedis are great and their prices are good Read Less

They were so rude when I came in with two of my nails broken a day after I was there they blamed it on me and said they would fix one but that the other was not that actually broken it was a scratch ( I showed them the acrylic was cracked all the way) they fixed both and rushed me out. I have been there many times and they are just not what they used to be. So terrible. I just had 2 more nails break!! It's 2/7 today and I got them done on 2/4. DO NOT GO HERE. Read Less

The first time I went here, I had a really good experience.  My shellac lasted 3 weeks without any kind of lifting or chipping.  The ladies were nice and attentive.  They even offer a student discount, so that's also a major plus.  The price is reasonable to begin with, so that's even better.  For that experience, I would give them 5/5.Now, for my most recent experience.  I was a walk in, so I expected to wait.  I'm okay with that.  However, when they sat me down to soak off my previous shellac, my hands sat in a pure bowl of acetone for 15+ minutes.  It dried out my nails, cuticles and hands... I'm still recovering.  During that time, my nail tech didn't check on me because she was still working on someone else.  I know that's normal, but leaving someone's skin in acetone that long is definitely not.  Once I was done, the job looked alright.  However, once I got outside into the light, I noticed she hadn't painted my entire thumb nail, there was indentations throughout so they didn't look smooth, and 3 days in I have multiple chips on multiple nails.  Will I go back?  Maybe but with major skepticism. This place isn't too bad, decent prices and everyone seems pretty nice. Although when i walked in i was greeted by everyone staring at me and there wasn't even a real receptionist, it was one of the nail techs who was already working on someone asking what i wanted. I came to get a normal pedicure (without all of the other fancy stuff) and french tip acrylics. The guy who did my toes was lovely and did a fantastic job. Then, when i went to get my nails done, she was cutting my nails and not even paying attention, she was just talking to one of the other nail techs. It hurt really bad and put a lot of tension on my nails. She was gentle and took her time on applying the acrylic though and got them to the perfect size i wanted them to be though. But, when i got home and looked at them again there is bubbles on every single nail on both hands. Not sure how that happens but at least it's something small that isn't very noticeable unless you look closely. Also, each nail isn't even close to my cuticles, it looks like they've grown out at least a week. Overall, not too bad but if you want a $45 mani pedi then $45 service is what you'll get. Read Less

I'm new to Lubbock so I'm slowly checking out different salons to find one that is enjoyable, the staff are friendly, and the prices affordable. This place definitely checks 2 out of 3 of those for me. I came in as a walk-in without an appointment, and I was attended immediately. Once I was seated for my pedicure, I was offered something to drink. Jen took great care of my feet, and she was a pleasure to talk to! My feet and toes look great. My only docked star is for the prices. If you want gel polish, the price will be nearly doubled for anything. That's something I won't be able to afford long term, so I'm going to continue trying to find the best price for now. However, the staff and service make the price worthwhile, so I might be back anyway! Read Less

I came a week ago and the lady that did my nails made them all crooked, made a couple cuticles bleed a little, and as she was filing my nails with the nail file I guess the friction on my pinky from the file sliced my pinky open a little bit(which may have been completely accidental but still). Good, relaxing pedicure.  They have several options.   Mine had paraffin treatment and hot stone massage.  Soooo relaxingggg.  Staff was accommodating, even with me being a bit late in my arrival.  (I wouldn't make a practice of it, though.  I felt bad making them work past close)  They never complained or rushed.  Clean and comfortable. Terrible experience. Went in on a Sunday to get my nails done with my friend and I was not spoken to by the nail technician (who I think was also the owner). She took about an hour and a half on a simple full set of acrylic nails with shellac because she was too busy talking to her employees and worrying about other customers instead of what I wanted. She then proceeded to mess up one of my nails on one hand and thought she could fix the problem by making the same nail on the other hand look the same. I went back in on Tuesday to ask her to please make the nail she messed up look like the others and she refused to fix her own mistake. I have gone to several nail places in the area and I always get shellac/gel nails. They usually do not last more than a week to 10 days for me but when I went to Legacy nails they lasted over 2 weeks! Staff is great and very considerate and listens to what you ask for.
