I had an unexpected circumstance come up causing me to run late for an appointment I booked for myself and a friend. I called to apologize and inform them we were running late and I was told we would pay for the full service but not receive the full service; if we canceled the appointment we would be charged the full amount for no services received. I should have paid closer attention to the cancellation policy and I take responsibility for that but I find it very disappointing that a business would charge a customer $80 for no services provided instead of inconveniencing themselves to extend their customers a little grace for admitting you running a little late. Pushing our appointments back by 30 minutes would not have messed up any other appointments that day as I was told we were the last appointments Scheduled. Our appointments were at 5 pm and their business hours on Friday state they are open until 8pm, so I don’t see how the extra 30 minutes would cost the business any extra money. Really love every time I get my hair done here!  Problem is that when you have a specific time you need, the answer is always "there's only 2 of us and those appointments are booked". I've even been told sometimes the one girl is the only one working.  I sort of understand you can't control walk-in traffic, but I would assume when someone calls in the day before for a specific time, that they could call someone in and make that happen.  I constantly get let down with their scheduling. I love going there sometimes it nice to have someone else do your hair sometimes. The only thing is out of the 3 times I've been there I've never seen the same technician. And I don't like that you never can see what they are doing while styling your hair Read Less

Got my daughter's hair done here for her 8th grade banquet came out nice. Her hair was coimg out from her Bobby pins about an hour after we left but that was the only thing we didn't like about her hair style. We'll be back.Read Less

The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was super fun - I was given a mimosa as I walked in (yum!).I did the Blo out + deep conditioning treatment. I chose to do the big curls look, called the Holly Would. Unfortunately the curls immediately fell to straight. Pretty sure I walked out of the place without curls in my hair (that's how quick they fell). I let her put in as much product as she needed to make the curls stick, none of which worked. My hair DOES hold curls, I just don't think the girl knew what she was doing.I also got my makeup done. I asked for a natural look as I don't normally wear makeup, and I walked out with the thickest black eyeliner I've ever had and looked pretty bad. I had to do major damage control when I got home. The staff was very nice though, I'm sure if they realized how displeased I was they would have made efforts to fix it. Unfortunately, I just was not confident in either the makeup artist's or the hair stylist's abilities to fix it so I did not ask for them to correct it. Definitely a fun place but please be warned - the staff are not well experienced and gave me the worst hairstyle and make up I've ever paid for in my life. And I paid around $100 for all of this - WAY over priced. I will not be going back. Such a cute place. I had my hair and makeup done here for my wedding, along with all my bridesmaids. It was such a fun atmosphere to get ready in and they did a great job. And the pricing isn't bad at all! Izzy did my hair and it turned out beautifully! All of the stylists were so sweet and professional. I'll definitely be returning for future events I go to. Would highly recommend this place, but I did have to deal with some rude management when they made an error when it came to my payment, otherwise it would be five stars! Read Less

I have curly hair, so I am no stranger to some pain in the name of beauty. However, I found my experience at blo dry bar to be unacceptable. My fine/curly hair is porous, and can hold some moisture. The stylist did not towel dry my hair properly prior to applying heat. While blow drying my hair, the steam burnt my scalp multiple times. The stylists response was "it's just the steam" when she notices I was uncomfortable. Also, she scratched my face, and I have a wedding to attend today. Overall, the blowout was sub par; it was something I could have achieved at home with a straightener. I wanted the Hollywood style blowout, but the style is flat on top. I am very disappointed with my experience, and I would not recommend someone visit this establishment. Read Less

Made an appointment to get my hair done for a wedding, ended up bringing my 7 year old daughter along with me who asked if she could get her hair done too. Thegirls were really sweet and squeezed her in even though it was a holiday and they super busy. I also got my makeup done and went looking and feeling great! Loved Blo! Yesterday was my first visit. Wonderful scalp massage, shampoo, conditioner, heat guard, and blow dry, followed by a choice of style from sketches in the hair menu.
