Just a few days ago I felt like I was having the roughest time. Work and home was stressful, and to top it off, I hated my hair. I called, praying someone would set me up last minute or even somewhere in their day and praise be to God, Jade answered and said come on in now before my 2 o'clock. It was meant to be! I had the BEST experience I've had at a salon in a long time. Fun banter, she took such great care of me and cut, colored, and styled my hair just like I needed and wanted. My friend went to this salon and received the worst service ever with pics to match. She has tried to contact the stylist about how displeased she was with her, but to no avail, no one has tried to offer her a resolution or apology. She received a permanent and a haircut. After 3 days, her curl pattern was weaker than a walking noodle with a cane. Her hair is very straight at the root and frizzy at the ends. She has tried to contact Morgan and has spoken with Morgan. However, Morgan has yet to assist her with her issues. I know that Salon Pink is a popular salon, however, the work should be popular as well. The only reason I am leaving a review on her behalf is because this was her last option. No one has tried to fix her hair or even offer a simple resolution as to what can be done. P.S. I love this place. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect, and I don't feel completely out of place in jeans and a t-shirt. I dropped by here last minute and despite it being a busy day they were super sweet and accommodated me. Jessica was my stylist and she is super hard working and patient and browsed pictures of the look I wanted from my blowout too. I wish they had a sulfate free selection of shampoos and conditioners and more natural/organic styling products because though my hair looked ABSOLUTELY fabulous, it did a number on the health of my hair. I'm definitely going back with my own product because her work is impeccable and she is very receptive as well. I went to this salon without a review.  I had Lanna "fix" my hair.  She had no idea what she was doing.  She stayed on her cell phone texting the whole time I was sitting in the chair.  She was rough with my hair.  She used hot water when washing my hair.  She was terrible.  I had to go somewhere else to have them fix the mess she created with my hair.  If it were up to me, I would hope she would just get a job at McDonalds.  She does not need to be set free doing anyone else's hair. THIS PLACE ROCKS!!! they pamper you and are very polite and friendly and make you feel like an absolute beauty queen, and Ricia and Leslye cut some of the cutest hair! they also do my brothers hair very stylishly! Just stop thinking about any other salon, especially EYE CANDY (like 20 strands of my hair literally fell out after they cut it!! After receiveing a dry haircut from Ricca when normally I receive a shampoo and cut; my haircut was horrible! Called and asked for it to be corrected and was offered another dry cut by shampoo girl. I advised her that the dry haircut was the problem; I needed a shampoo and cut. They did not call me back until 1 1/2 months later and the shampoo girl left very unprofessional voicemail on machine in which she laughed througout the call. oh my god! I jus' called Salon Pink to make an appt. after a few seconds on hold they tell me they can give me Paige's cell number, (the stylist I was referred to) cause she's out of town?? I told the woman I was referred to the salon and that I would take anyone that could get me in today. next thing I know another person comes on the line and the woman says "hey, she says she'll see anyone today" the other person says "who does?" then I hear a click and immediately after another...they both hung up!?????ridiculous and completely unprofessional. don't bother. THIS SALON IS VERY EYE CATCHING AND AS A GIRLY GIRL, I LOVE THE DECOR! HOWEVER, AS I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A NEW HAIR DRESSER, I WAS RECOMENDED THIS ONE. I'VE BEEN TWICE SO FAR AND FOUND THAT AN ASSISTANT DOES EVERYTHING EXCEPT TRIM MY HAIR AND TAKE MY MONEY, WHICH MIGHT BE FINE IF THE WORK WAS QUALITY. ON MY LAST VISIT, I DECIDED TO COLOR INSTEAD OF HIGHLIGHT MY HAIR. THE COLOR THEN FADED OFF MY PREVIOUSLY HIGHLIGHTED AREAS THE FIRST TIME I WASHED MY HAIR!!!! THIS CONTINUED TO HAPPEN UNTIL MY HAIR HAS ALMOST COMPLETELY FADED. UPON CALLING THE SALON, I WAS TOLD THAT TO RE-DO IT WOULD COST ME $40!!!! FOR SOMETHING I PAID $70 ABOUT A WEEK PRIOR!!! I HAVE HAD THE SAME PROCESS DONE BEFORE, WITH NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. THEY WERE NOT EVEN VERY NICE NOR DID I GET AN APOLOGY.
