After being a loyal customer for several years, I feel I was done very wrong on Wednesday. I had an appointment with Julie as I do every 8 weeks at 2:30. Got a call at 1:30 (not from Julie) from Madison that Julie was sick & taking the rest of the day off. Now of course everyone gets sick, that can't be helped but surely she knew before 1:30 that she was sick! I had already taken the afternoon off work & was just driving into Longview from Carthage. I knew Julie was still the...re because Madison had to go ask about rescheduling. Because I was driving, I asked her to just call me back. Well 3:00 rolled around & I hadn't heard back so I decided to just stop by salon & talk to Madison. Imagine my surprise to not only find Julie still there looking perfectly well, she had a clint in her chair with foil in her hair not even nearly done!! I will not go back nor would I recommend her because if she would do it to me, she would do it to you!! I will be finding a new salon & regret the money & time wasted there!! This afternoon I went in for a blowout. I had the pleasure of using Madison and she was amazing!! I need to color soon and I will be back! I had my wedding hair and make-up done here, and they were able to accommodate the rest of my wedding party for hairdos and did a magnificent job! I've also been here for a Before Baby Spa Day, and although the waiting/snack room was small and the nail techs weren't as professional as I could've hoped, the quality of my pedicure was top notch. I came in here last week to get blonde balayage. The picture I showed was not close to the result I got. My hair was virgin and dark blonde so it should have lifted easily to the shade in the picture. I walked out looking the same as I did when I walked in. I won't go back sadly. I was a regular customer until one of the top people completely messed up my hair. We agreed I could go blonde and this person bleached my hair. A few weeks later my hair has fallen out beyond recognition. Not only did she insult me by not acknowledging that she messed it up but, did not give me the haircut that I had also scheduled to try and make it look somewhat better instead of sending me away looking like a scarecrow. (She had another customer come in and time ran over) I don't have a problem with screwing up my hair...I've done it before myself. Plenty of times. Kayla Harris is amazing! After having many bad hair experiences, I was so nervous going in as I had never been to the spalon before. Recently I decided to dye my hair dark by a previous stylist and it turned out almost black. Then found a different stylist who was "balayage specialized" and turned my hair coppery/orange/red. Thankfully I found Kayla, she did a great job on my balayage and got my hair much lighter! She is caring and passionate about her clients and takes in consideration of not only what you are wanting, but the health of your hair. Do not let Lauren touch your hair. Went in and asked for a trim about 2-3 inches and ended up leaving with at least 6 inches off of my hair. I also asked for the back to be cut in a "v" instead of just straight across.. well it ended up being straight across. She didn't show me anything until the end and obviously it was too late then. It took me a good 4 years to get my hair to the length that I wanted and now I have to start all over. Will not be coming back. Read Less

I booked a bridal appointment here for me and my four bridesmaids and my mom. Having the team of ladies working on all of us at the same time was amazing!! Everyone's make up and hair looked absolutely flawless!! We had Mallory and Chere on make up - and I swear if I could make it work I'd have Mallory do my make up every single day. The bridal party had Hannah, Julie, and Kayla on hair and everyone looked so great in their down styles. For me, the best part was having a magician like Dawn taking care of my hair. Literally, it was FLAWLESS!! The cleanest updo I've ever seen - I had 92 bobby pins that I fished out of my hair that night so that ish didn't budge at all throughout all the dancing and celebrating.
