The worst experience ever!!! I went in for a gel manicure (white matte with crystals). The manicure was awful. As if I never had one. The gel was striking, I had to ask several times for another coat. They didn't know what product to use to make to top coat matte. It got worst when they tried to put 3 crystals on my nails. 3 ladies worked on two of my fingernails. Ruining the gel with the amount of crazy glue they used. I was not even out of the salon when the crystals where already falling. I was very unhappy, I told them I didn't want to be charged for such AWFUL service. They didn't care. They went ahead and charge me $40 for the worst gel manicure ever. They offered me to come back as if I wanted to ever walk in such establishment. I had the courtesy to let them know I was disputing the charge and the manager said that it wasn't for free... Even if the "messed up my nail"... "Gaw, you so picky" are the words that came from the old man who was coughing and hacking on my feet...which he had to redo. Picky? I paid $87 good dollars to have a FULL manicure and pedicure; not half of it looking good. Yes, I expect that they are not half painted or where u can see the layers of polish applied. How is this being "picky"? Undeserved, unprofessional and disrespectful!!! I'm letting EVERYONE I know (5 of my friends or family currently go here, as did I a few times) how horrible of an experience this was. I will never visit this establishment again. I took my sister here to get her nails done and to get a pedicure. The woman who did her nails did not cut them down to the length my sister indicated (she wanted them short) and did not paint her nails the way my sister wanted them done. Then when it came time to pay I was told then that it was going to cost $10 more than the posted price because her nails were long. I feel as a customer this should be posted somewhere or communicated with the customer before everything is done. I wouldn't have been nearly as upset had the information been given up front. Not to mention I had to leave and go to a different nail salon to fix the problems that this establishment created. I am very disappointed and will take my business elsewhere in the future. What happened to this place?!? It's DISGUSTING!!! I went in just to have my powder dipped nails removed and my nails cleaned up. They had the air turned off, the place was filled with dust and the guy couched on my hands the whole time! He was more interested in his friend laptop than getting my nails done. When he said he was finished with my nails but they were still jagged, chipped and polish was still all over my hands. I asked him if they were supposed to look like that and he got pissed!! The workers were very kind and the pedicure I got was very nice and relaxing. However, the polish was very poorly done, edges were left undone and on one toe, the polish didnt even go to the end of the nail. Also when I got home I realized I still had a ton of dead skin on my feet and rough patches. Not worth the money when I could have done a better job at home myself. Read Less

Lady who did my nails was very rude. She cut my nails and then asked if that was the length I wanted, she wouldn't do them the shape I asked for and had a attitude when I asked her to do it and she still didn't and then proceeded to say she didn't have the color I wanted when she clearly did have it and it took me pointing it out to her! She also got super glue all over my fingers.. Almost 3 hours later an a nail has smudge (they should be dry by now) I had a friend with me who also got her nails done and she went next door to Sallys to buy the stuff to fix hers because they messed up her nails as well. $80 dollars wasted and they knew we weren't happy about it and didn't even offer to change anything. We went here with a group of 7. I got mani/pedi as well as most of the members of my group. The staff was awesome. They were very accommodating. My pedicure was perfect and my shellac has lasted for 3 weeks and I only need to have it redone because my nails have grown out at the base. Dave did the pedicure and Lee did the shellac. I recommend both of them! Heading back this week! Read Less

3rd time going and wife's nails start falling apart on the same or next day. They will fix the nails piecemeal, but after 3 days they are all chipped or completely off but they won't proactively fix the rest saving her the trips. She gave them a few chances but will now take her $$ elsewhere. Read Less

This was my second attempt at this place. It was terrible. After having to wait 30 minutes to sit for a pedicure, which was understandable with how busy they were, I finally get a chance to sit. After I do, a group of three people that came in after me started to get drinks and started to get worked on while I'm still waiting for someone to even ask me if I would like something to drink. Fifteen minutes later, I ask how much longer and someone finally gets to me. At this point, they were still so busy that the girl I had was very rushed. I couldn't even enjoy the service I was getting. I am a new mom and I was very excited to have a chance to relax. The girl I had was so anxious, I didn't enjoy it at all. Would not recommend. It wasn't a horrible experience- but I will see a different nail tech if I go back. New rule of thumb: aged= more experienced. My nail tech at anther salon was booked, so I had to go here. It was very hot in there. My back was sticking to the seat. I had to turn the Massage chair off because I was too hot to enjoy that extra friction on my back. The lady, a younger nail tech, Offered me something to drink. They had water, soda, and wine. I chose white wine (which I didn't enjoy because I was so hot. I didn't even want to drink it- and that's not like me. I even put my book down- to be later picked back up to fan myself .) my back shouldn't be sweating !Nail prep- She Barely grazed over my toe nails to scrape them.  Just barely. She also filed down my nail as if she didn't really know what she was doing. I remember looking up from my book to look at her to see what she was doing- it was that out of the norm. The Large Scraper- she started scraping my foot with it as soon as they came out of the water. I'm trying to recall if at other shops, they place something on my feet before this process....they do. Whether it's a callus remover or something else. .anyway- here, there was nothing applied. After scraping off the dead skin, She did apply something on the pumice stone and started scrubbing my left foot. However, when it was time for my right, she did not apply anything before she started scrubbing my right foot. So basically, she just started dry scrubbing again. The 1st Massage with lavender scrub  - too short. Before I knew it, I heard "put your foot back in the water"The paraffin was definitely hot. And that didn't help my already "hot"  temperature. She asked if I was too hot (I was by then fanning myself with my book) and I told her I was. She spoke to someone, and they turned the air on. Thank GOD. 2nd massage with lotion - muccch better than the first. She Took more time and showed more effort.After my feet were lotioned and dried, she had to go back and remove some of my cuticles that she did not cater to the first time-On several of my toes. Painting- After I tried to correct her on what color not to use on my toes- I had told her once before  earlier not to use the glitter top coat-she started speaking to her coworkers in another language.   When all was over, and I was drying, I tried to take the tissue from between my toes and I messed up the paint. I waited for about 15 minutes before being helped on a sat afternoon but It was pretty relaxing (a little music in the background could have added more to the experence) but the ladys were nice. Because of a little language barrier they had to work together to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and my nails turned out great. For a mani and pedi I was there for about an hour and half. We came Sunday at 11:30 for 2 pedicures. We were seated immediately and asked to select our preference. We selected milk and honey. Both attendants worked very well. The bowls were lined with plastic and everything looked nice and clean. My attendant did a thorough job and took her time even after one if her regular customers arrived and was seated. I wanted to get my nails done the day before my little one was supposed to arrive so my nails would look nice in the pictures. The man, who misunderstood me when I said I just wanted to get acrylics after a pedicure, started giving me a hot wax treatment then started to clean up my cuticles. He cut me three times, didn't stop the bleeding until I complained, then used nail polish remover to stop the bleeding. Then they kept bleeding. They later got infected. This was the absolute WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had at a nail salon. The man who did my nails got visibly upset that I complained to the manager/owner.I would never EVER recommend this place. Just moved here from California. While Allure is very clean and everyone is friendly, the prices floored me... and that's saying a lot from someone that just moved here from the SF Bay Area where everything is expensive! The are probably 10 types of pedis to choose from. A basic pedi starts at $26 then jumps to $31, $36 and $40+! I got the $31 pedi which lasted about 30 mins.  While I haven't worked as a nail tech in a salon in 20 years, I've given and had many pedis. What I got today should have cost no more that $20.  My calluses were hardly scrubbed and my massage lasted maybe 3 minutes. Whaaaattt?!  I don't mind paying good money for a pedi but come on folks. While my friend an I were waiting for our pedicure we watched a technician finish a mans toes. Then scrape the dead skin off the utensils and put them back in a sanitation bag. She then put them in her cart wheeled it to the next woman and used the unsanitary utensils on her feet. It was disgusting. The work was ok but service was slow and had polish missing on spots. EEK! Methinks not is right!The price of a pedicure, $25 is what lured me into this place. You get what you pay for is what i ended up saying after I left this pop shop.   The pedicurist didn't take off all of my nail polish, even when i told her she missed some.  She continued to put a fresh coat of nail polish over some of my old nail polish.  The pedicurist was very gentle with my feet when it came to scrubbing the dead skin off, something I am not used to.  I do not like the fact that they do not use the pedicure sponges.  Are they trying to save money?  As soon as I got off the chair my pinky toe's nail polish smudged onto my other toe! This place is beautiful on the inside with very clean nail stations.  It is a bit more expensive than I was expecting ($10 for en eyebrow wax), and I can see how the "broken English" and Asian workers would be frowned upon in Longview, but everyone was very nice and friendly.  I got greeted by like every single worker in there, and I was taken right back for my waxing.  I would like to come back and try out their fancy pedicure chairs! make sure to make an appointment. i was there at 1050 on sunday, in which they opened at 1100. their front door lock had malfunctioned. they wouldn't let me in to get my pedi, so i left at 1130. i returned at 3pm and signed in. they said the wait would be 15-20 minutes. no problem. a lady and her daughter walked in 10 minutes later, were greeted and then escorted to the back...IN FRONT OF ME. i left and WILL NOT go back there for service. This is your run-of-the-mill nice-looking Asian owned nail salon.  Hard to understand the broken English of workers.  Have been there more than once but don't intend to return.  My toenails were improperly cut, they cut the side of my toenail, which should not be done.  It causes them to grow out wrong and crack from the side.  Took about 2 months after my last visit to grow out of the improper cut after my pedicure.  Not impressed with the attitude of the staff.  I would rather pay a little more and get a real salon treatment. I took my kids here and it was super clean! Tony was very sweet and attentive and made us feel special all the while attending to other clients. I got rose petals in my pedi bowl and the paraffin was heaven.  I also got $5 off each of our pedicures and a gift certificate to The YogurtBar next door in the same plaza...my kids loved that!
