I've been a customer of Amy's for two years and was very happy with her work. Unfortunately the attitude of the place changed ever since Judy bought it. Appointments got all messed up tapping into each other customers time. When you express your concerns they do nothing about it. Last time I went my mother liked my nails so much that scheduled for Saturday 7/29 but Amy sent my daughter and I a text message late at night that she wasn't able to do my moms nails because she wasn't going to be in so i rescheduled her appointment for 8/5 however I received a call from Amy asking if my Mom was coming in so I called my Mom and she ended up having to go to work and was unable to get her nails done. My mother texted Amy to let her know but this seemed to upset her as she felt that she can't schedule on weekends if we couldn't make it. However she was the one who rescheduled my mother to begin with. I called the shop today after noticing that she blocked us from all social media and Judy answered stating Amy was busy and I needed to schedule with her on week days only knowing my schedule doesn't allow it. They just lost a customer that paid $200-$400 with them a month!!! I've been here many times & they have always deserved a great review, but I never took the time. They always do a great job at any type of nails I've wanted to try out. Besides that, something that is very important to me  -I've never been treated  "racist by asians" here. No judging, talking & laughing about you in another language. Went two times before today. Had an 11 a.m. appt. Called at 10:30 to see if Amy was on time or behind I was told to come. Got there sat for 25 minutes. 15 minutes into Amy comes over from a customer she is working on with another tech. She knew I was there gives methe acrylic color wheel to look at......busywork to keep me thinking that she was coming soon. Not! I had enough so I got up and left. I went to Exotic bc I was told Amy was good yes if you can get her to take you on time. The first time I went I was first in the morning at 10 she got there at 10:35. Why make an appointment if you dont get served? If you have tons of time to wait and dont care if your appointment is ignored then go to Exotic Nails. Read Less

My friend recommended this place because I always compliment her nails.Amy does my pink and white nails. She is amazing and talented and takes her time to make sure you're happy. Moved to Texas from Illinois.  Tried several nail salons over the past 6 months and was disappointed with the results until finding Exotic Nails.  The shop is Clean, Quiet and the staff is very friendly and accomodating.  The best pedicure I've received yet . Read Less

I live in irving and let me tell you Amy is worth the drive. She is amazing at nail art and design, not just the little flowers and squiggle lines I'm talking about works of art. I always get stopped and asked about my nails. She isn't afraid to try what you ask and is very much the perfectionist. You will not leave unhappy. Judy has also done my pedicures and she gives a really good massage and doesn't rush. The prices are awesome as well. Read Less
