This place is my favorite place! I live in Frisco now so I can't visit like I used to but not one nail salon has done a better or even just as good of a job as these ladies. I never have to tell them what to do, I just go in ask for Ann and she always gets it right. They are sanitary and friendly. The picture I posted isn't even done yet and my nails look so bomb. I love this place, they are all so welcoming, as soon as you get there they greet you and tell you and estimated wait. I usually like going early when not to busy, but I have also gone on sat afternoons when they are extremely busy. As a customer you have to understand that they are busy and there is a wait time. usually around 15-30 min during busy times. but other than that they do an excellent job at what they do. i love the pedicures and dip full set. I’ve been going for 13 years and they are great. They always meet my needs and go above and beyond. They are always nice and ask if you need anything else. My nails always come out beautiful and well done. I rarely have a problem with them ,every time they make a mistake they correct it right away without me having to tell them anything. So I'm honestly not one to review much if I have a bad experience just because I know things happen and not everyone can have a bad experience.. this is a long review due to me having gone in a few times, being honest with each of my experiences. I'm new to the area and have been looking for a place I could commit to going to for my eyebrows and nails. I used to go to European Wax center for my waxing services and because of certain circumstances couldn't afford it right now.. So I decided to give this place a try. I'm very picky when it comes to my nails and eyebrows. The first time I came into this salon I had A GREAT experience. Lihn who I think may be a manager or owner did my eyebrows and made them look great! She had noticed that I did NexGen and told me if I felt they did good services on my eyebrows if I'd please come back so they could do my nails. I told her I'd definitely be back and actually wrote a good review on here because she was so nice and did a great job. The second time I came in for my eyebrows, was about 2 1/2 weeks later and there was another lady who did them that day. I didn't catch her name but she took her time and made sure she did a good job. I was so pleased and happy because I felt that I finally found a place RIGHT DOWN THE STREET that I could go to and feel confident that they would do a great job. I had even recommended a few friends from work to go there as well. This last time I went I was greated by Lihn and told to go to the back room where the girl doing the waxing would be. I figured I'd have the same girl as the last time but it was a completely different lady. She was on the phone the whole time she was doing my eyebrows, which didn't bother me too much but I felt was a little rude. First, I told her I did NOT want them thin. Usually places brush your eyebrows to see the shape before even waxing- she DID NOT. She started waxing right away! I thought okay, maybe she has a different way of doing things. She started plucking away did not even wipe off any of the hairs she had plucked off. She ended up giving me she mirror and I just starred at it..I told her they were a little too thin but there was nothing else I could do about it at that point.. I walked to the register where Lihn was working close to and she just kind of starred at me and said something to the lady. The lady acted as if she didn't care and I could tell Lihn saw all that extra plucked off hair on my face along with  my eyebrows.. Not even a week later THANK-GOODNESS they're growing back but it is faster than they usually do. My eyebrows look HORRIBLE. And all I want to do now is allow myself to look a little rough there until a lot of it grows back, where I can just go somewhere else to have them fixed and done. They're a complete line almost. No arch. Straight and thin pretty much. I typically have thicker eyebrows with some arch and that's how I've kept them for years.. they already are growing back in places that I want to pluck and clean up myself.. but I'm just allowing them to grow more out and possibly fix it by doing that and going somewhere else. I would have left 2 stars but I felt it wouldn't be fair because my first two experiences were actually really good. But this last one was just bad.. This place is pretty affordable but remember you get what you pay for. Calling and making an appointment is a waste of time they take walk-ins and give them an ' estimated time to be seated ' it's always an hour + they half ass your nails if the place is busy. they'll multitask repeatedly which leads to mishaps during your service. overall, don't recommend. Favorite place to go get pampered !Always greeted upon arrival and departing the shop always clean the techs take pride in their work they love what they do may have to wait for about 5 mins to get services but this is the best shop around i will definitely stay here and I know  you will too stop bye give them a try I promise you will be %  satisfied also try the margarita while you're there ! Ive been going to this place for a little over two years, I'm going to say yesterday 04/27/2017 had to be the worst experience I ever had, I got there around  5pm, they were clearly understaff so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I came in w/ a friend and we both got pedicures. the water was not warm or comfortable and it took over 45 min for someone to work on us, they provided beverages. we both asked for water. and then later offered us some of their new alcohol drinks, they informed us they had wine. so we both agreed to get red wine. This lady took back the water that was given to us, took it to the back poured some of the red wine they had and added the water and then  reserved us. THE WINE WAS AWFUL and water down NEVER AGAIN and then had the nerve to ask if it was good. So they assigned a guy to me that was very inexperienced and did not know how to preform a pedicure. He literally was rubbing what he thought was lotion into my legs for 15-20 min. THIS WAS NOT LOTION, the poor guy didn't even know how to paint my toe nails.Mind you all i got was the classic Pedicure. this is the cheapest one. I then get switched over to get my nails done mind you this wasn't the lady I usually go to. I sat down and she asked my color I wanted. I proceeded to show her a picture of what I wanted, she then said that she cant do that exactly but something similar. I knew I was at the wrong place for this kind of job. so I agreed that was okay  but try to get as close to the pic as possible. she asked me what shape I wanted. I proceeded to tell her I wanted to round. but she said the picture was almond. I told her yes I know but I want round. SHE CUT MY NAIL TO THE ALMOND SHAPE ANYWAY.  I was completely fed up by this time. and walked out infuriated. I then realized I left my shoes. so I went back to get my shoes. These ladies wanted to call the cops on me. This is what I get for being faithful to a nail shop for over 2year.i always pay and always tip good. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. Read Less

I was greeted upon entry and I only waited 5 mins. They were crowded and I was skeptical at first but Lynn assured me she had me covered. She listened to my concerns and with all of my OCD lol she stayed humble and polite. I have to give props to my girl Lynn. She went above and beyond for my birthday. I was very pleased with my Chocolate mint pedicure while I sipped on Strawberry and lime margaritas.I tried the short coffin style nails with mood changing pink polish. I've been going to Glaze since they opened around ten or so years ago. The service when they first opened was impeccable but over the years, as the business has grown, it has gone down a bit. Lynn used to know me by name but I stopped going for a few years when I had my kids (no money!) and she remembered my face but not my name when I went back, so that is a plus. I agree with other posters that she stretches herself too thin, hopping between clients and always telling anyone that comes in that it will only be 15 minutes. I arrived at 9am today (Saturday) and there was one person there getting a pedicure. By the time I sat down for my pedicure there were 2 or 3 other customers and only 2 girls working. Slowly other employees arrived but they did not help the multiple other people that had showed up by then. A woman waited for half an hour for her eyebrows to be waxed. I love the actual service itself - Lynn is the only person I allow to wax my eyebrows (I have a scar and they have to be done a certain way), and I've never had a bad set, manicure, or pedicure. The employees and their actions are on par with most other nail salons, but the actual service they provide is the best you can get. Read Less

I went to this nail shop today with my little sister. She got both a mani and a pedi (which was more like shaping the nails up and putting polish on) and it was $28 which is reasonable. I got a pedi ($25) and a full set with nail polish ($25) which was reasonable as well. But the lady that did my sisters nails was on her phone the entire time and never talked to me or my sister once. The lady who did my full set did not talk to me and would run my hand into things constantly and never say sorry. She was also very rough with my nails. Needless to say I will not be going back at all, because they all seem to not care enough about their customers. Oh and there was one lady (pretty sure the owner) that kept running, yes running, in a little nail shop and yelling in some other language. I've been going to glaze nails for about 7 years. I genuinely like the way Lynn the owner who does my nails. Although she's very money hungry , often rushing and always all over the place while she's doing your nails. I continued to patronize her Because I'm very particular about who does my nails and I dont like hopping from shop to shop. As long as you agree to how theyre doing your nails theyre very nice and friendly but if you have an opinion about your nails when your spending 100.00 every 2wks or ask for something different, or don't like the way theyre doing your nails their attitudes change and they start talking about you in their language without ever looking up from doing your nails.  This this is the second time I've asked for a design to be asked If I could do it at hm because she doesn't have time or come back 2mrw. As if I have nothing to do but sit in the nail shop. But you had time to take my 100.00 and make sure I got a pedi while you finished your appt before me because you were running an hour behind and didnt want me to leave or realize how long I'd be waiting to get my nails done. well  if you'd stop running around and stay focused on your appts you probably wldv.  Sad but I probably won't go back, I'll give my money to someone whos willing to render the service I want. My mother and sister went for basic mani pedis for my moms birthday. We loved the team but my mother wasnt helped until we were half way done with our pedicures. After that we left and not even a day later my nails had already chipped on all of my nails. I was gonna go back to get it fixed but dont have time and I dont want to be pressured into doing another manicure or pay for a polish change. Other than that I would probably come back because the therepy was relaxing for the cost, but maybe with my own polish that lasts longer and stronger. My friend and I came to Glaze Nails to get a full set for her and a gel manicure for myself to look nice for her mother's funeral. My manicure was nice, it only included the polish not the typical hand/arm rub down so at $20, it was a but overpriced. And that's the only remotely positive thing I have to say. My friend requested a full set, and asked the woman to first do a square nail and after cutting each decided the rounded square might look better. When she asked for the rounded square the tech told her that it would be too much trouble to round the nails. That was after she tried to sell my friend on an eyebrow wax because her 'eyebrows make her look like a man'. We won't be returning. Read Less

My technician rushed through the entire process and multi tasked between me and another person across the room. If she was the only one there id understand but after she put the hot towels on she left to do a manicure. I really like the owner of this place and I hear she does an excellent job. I have been here several times and each time she greets me with a smile and is always nice. I've had several good experiences, but the last two have been bad. The first bad experience was a few weeks ago. The acrylic turned out bumpy and uneven. I lived with it because I was the only one who could really tell. No biggy. HOWEVER, This week I didn't have a good experience AT ALL. I went for a fill. ""Linda"" (first station on the left) hurt me several times and disregarded when I told her to stop drilling on my nail. She had the drill on there for so long it started to burn through my fingernail. I could actually feel the heat. THEN she took her fingernails and scratched me everywhere trying to get me to move my hands to ""suit"" her needs. My hands are still sore. My nails look great except for underneath where it looks like there is dirt between the acrylic and natural nail. I have very long, strong nails naturally. I only wanted a thin layer of acrylic so my polish will hold longer. I'm considering doing it myself so I don't have to deal with nightmare manicurists like this lady.
