Technicians are the worst in this place. It is unsanitary. After I had manicure, 4 of my nails show detachment from the skin, indicative of a fungal infection I didn’t have prior to the manicure. Furthermore, they damaged my cuticle. They also cut my nails too short and while filing my nails they were rasping the quick. I do not recommend this place, it is a waste of your money. Read Less

Been going here for years, great service & friendly! Hard to understand them and vice versa but they do a great job on my nails. I always get pedicures and love the massages they give for the pedi. Can be a little pushy sometimes but hey, it’s a business just trying to sell their services! Good prices and variety of options! Read Less

My favorite place to get my nails done from Galveston to NASA Rd 1. Calf massage is literally a gift from whichever god(s) you believe in. Super friendly staff, and if you go Monday through Wednesday they throw in the paraffin wax for free with the pedis that don't generally come with them. LOVE this place. Read Less

Pains me to write this review because this place was my go to when I was on this side of town. Receptionist is super nice as well as the nail technicians, but when it comes to the quality of work done it's a let down in every way. I had a broken nail and was only going to get it fixed but when I asked how long it will take to get my nails done they said 30 minutes which was all the time I had so I decided to not only fix my broken nail but get a full refill. Well 45 minutes later I ended up with nails equal to the quality of a 15 minute session. All my nails were bumpy. None where close to my cuticle. The nail polish was I believe way too old or just not usable anymore. And the solar machines were having issues. Last but not least I was cut near my cuticle. I can't wait to take these nails off! I've been going here for a while now. I stopped going a few years ago because the quality just seemed to go downhill a little. They have come under new management about a year ago and I have to say this place is AWESOME!!! The girl who manages the place is extremely organized and really knows what she's doing. I asked my toe nails to be cut as short as possible bc I am a runner. They cut them short but then also completely cut my finger nails off!!!! Also they kept trying to upsale my daughter. She's 11, lay off. Every time someone walked in the technition got up and paused her manicure. She's a kid but was paying for a service. Afterwards she told me it made her feel unimportant. They asked her if she wanted designs on her toes and gave me a price. She got 2 stripes across her big toes. That was it. No flower or hearts just a couple stipes. They didn't tell us the design was for only 2 toes and then said it would be 10 xtra bucks for the other toes. I finished her pedicure at home. I mean honestly it was just a couple stripes. I went here based on Yelp reviews and I initially didn't like my experience.  I got a gel mani/pedi and I felt like I was there for hours.  I wish I would have timed it, but I was at least there for 2 hours.  But, since my manicure lasted 2 weeks, I would definitely recommend this place.  I never, ever had such a nice manicure.  Maybe, if you ask, they can try to get you in and out faster.  Maybe they are trying to give a spa experience??? Got my makeup done with Lydia for a wedding Thursday just gone. I was so so happy with how it turned out, it was exactly what i wanted i left the salon at 12noon and 12hours+ later all i had to do is put a small bit of powder on my nose & topping up on lippy couldn't believe it everyone complemented me on how well it looked and especially the way it didn't budge i literally will never do my makeup myself again for any sort of event! The spa looks great and seems to be very clean but the technicians aren't very friendly. I went in to get just my eyebrows done and when I politely declined adding a pedicure or manicure to my visit the tech actually rolled her eyes at me. Another thing I didn't really appreciate is that they took me back to the "private" room to get my eyebrows done and when I opened my eyes in between waxing there were 2 other technicians watching from the doorway but walked away as soon as I saw them. Best nail place I have found here. Has new management and the manager is so nice. They do a great job (I get pedicures and shellac nails) and have had wonderful experience. You can even get a complementary glass of wine, water or sodas. The foot massages are great! There was 1 town my manicure (shellac) didn't last as long as it should have (like a week) and I told the manger when I went back and they redid it for FREE! I was not expecting that at all. New Ownership.  Fired everyone and lied about it.  They all went on a "month vacation" at the same time and never returned   What the manager doesn't know, I talked to the previous employees. New people have no clue.  Customers are coming back for cracked nails and they charged them for the repair. I love this salon! They recently switched owners so everything is better than before. Kim is an amazing nail artist. She is the best massager at the salon. She takes her time and is very friendly. The new boss is very nice. They have complimentary drinks (water,soda, and wine). I love this place! The price is a bit higher than others ($25 for pedicure for 30 minute) but it is very sanitized. The restroom is clean. They place a plastics sheet cover around your water bath and change a new one for each person so it is very clean! My first experiences of getting a pedicure, and a manicure that was not done at home was at this nail salon, and I didn't have a pleasant one. The salon is located on a shopping strip close to 45, so it's easy to get to. There's plenty of parking.Upon entering, I wasn't greeted by the receptionist because she was glued to her phone. She looked like she did not want to be there. The other employees, fortunately, greeted me and got me to where I needed to be. I had the pedicure that was one up from the basic one. I don't have any other experiences to compare it to, but I can say that I don't see the rave of winding down with a pedicure from the service that I received. It just seemed to happen... Nothing special. My technician didn't talk to me, and she just did her job. Im sure I have a lot of callous that needed to be removed, and maybe the procedure is to not remove all/most of it, but my feet were still rough after. No mishaps or anything. I wouldn't care to get a pedicure again. The terror in my experience came when it was time for my manicure. I got the gel/shellac manicure that was done by another technician. I was scarred afterwards! This lady didn't talk to me, nor ask me anything about how I wanted the length of my nails or the shape of them. The paint job was sloppy and horrendous! She didn't cover the entire nail bed with the color, and she got the polish on the tips of my finger. Once the shellac cures, it's difficult to get off. It's stuck to your skin really well. The cuticle cutting was what really hurt me. Chunks of my skin was cut off, and some parts bled. My fingers were extremely sore, and the pain just straight up sucked. We use our fingers a lot, so imagine feeling the soreness and pain every time you touched something. The manicure was supposed to include a little massage, but I didn't receive an ounce of lotion. I got these services done because I was going on vacation out of the country for two weeks. Unfortunately, when I recall my vacation, im stuck with the memories of this manicure. I noticed used, disposable flip flops and toe separators laying around. They ran out of clean towels to dry your hands at both sinks. There are employees with no customers and a receptionist attached to her phone, all who are just sitting around, yet no one bothered to help tidy up or replenish things. Maybe it was busy before I came, but it wasn't when I was there, so there's no excuse.   I wanted to love mani/pedis like many people do, but after coming here, I am going to stick to painting my own nails at home.
