Terrible customer service! No one greets you as you come in, the girls in the front just look at each other to see who's gonna help next customer as if it's a drag and ignore you the entire time you are waiting. Extremely hard wearing gel manicure, lasted two weeks. I loved the really funky colour change polish. Hands were a bit of a disaster after a festival, but my nails now look amazing. A treat at £22 and worth every penny! Read Less

So normally I'm a go with the flow kinda girl, but lately I've become a bit picky when it comes to getting my hair done. I've had some really bad experiences in the past that has really left me really nervous about trusting anyone. Today was different and I have to say that it was one of my best salon experiences yet. Primped the Style Bar provided great service and the environment was great too. Fernando, my hair stylist took the time to listen to me, and was extremely professional. The only thing I enjoyed was the manicure. Both the stylist and makeup artist did not listen to what I wanted. The makeup artist actually went back and fixed the makeup but the stylist left my hair knowing that I didn't like how it looked. Above all this, I was charged an extra 20 dollars and did not receive the free lip gloss the red carpet prom promotion claimed I'd receive. Read Less

Ok. I hate to have to write a negative review, but I'm upset about some hidden charges. This is not the first time it happens. I was told I would be charged "X" amount for highlights and ended up paying more. I let it pass the first time thinking it wouldn't happen again and because they did a good job. It wasn't a lot of money, however it is the fact that you are told one thing and then they come up with something else. I felt cheated and lied to the first time and the secon...d visit confirmed my feeling. I ended up paying close to $40 more on the first visit and close to $50 on the second visit for something random that wasn't charged on the first visit even though I had the same thing done. It is a very nice place, but that's the only part that's upsetting that they aren't clear on their charges and that's a bummer. I noticed the stylists are the ones that set the charges. They just go up to the register/ computer and change whatever they have to. At my last visit, I noticed my stylist went one way and came back another way and was gone for a moment. This only tells me that during that time the extra random charge that wasn't mentioned to me was more than likely added to my bill. I did mention my concern the first time, but the second time I just decided to not even schedule a next visit. There are lots of great stylists out there that do a great job, therefore, I will move on to finding another place where they won't lie and cheat me out of money. I had an awesome experience at Primped! I definitely felt pampered while being there but it was a great experience since the beginning. When I called to set up an appointment for the keratin treatment, the receptionist, Carmen made sure to let me know about the special it had involving a free hair cut! Dinela Vela gave me the exact look I was aiming for with a long layered blunt shoulder length haircut! She also styled it with the blow dryer and round brush in a way that made... all my layers stand out! I have not had layers for a year now so I was worried but they came out great making me wonder why I never had them in the first place. I also got the keratin treatment and I feel like a new person because my hair is so smoothed and healthy now, I love it! Dinela was so sweet and she definitely knew what she was doing. The salon was so peaceful and calming and Kristen the receptionist was so nice and offered me and the rest of the guest something to drink. Got there at 9am and the beautiful receptionist Kristan treated me with some really good coffee ☕️(Without coffee I can not function lol) Melissa and Sara made me feel super welcomed, then beautiful Dinela was wonderful with my hair as always, when I paid with Carmen she complained me and told me that I looked younger with my new hair which made me feel super good and some times we need to hear things like this...
