I used to get my eyebrows waxed and acrylic nails here all the time. They always did a good job until this last time.I was getting my acrylic nails, eyebrows waxed, and a pedicure for a wedding. I knew I would be there for a while, so I arrived about three hours before closing. I understood that they had other clients, and I didn't mind waiting to get all three things done. Fast forward 30 minutes before closing and they haven't started on my pedicure. I asked if I should come back tomorrow, and the lady said "no, I'll do it." I usually get pedicures at another place, so I thought it was odd that it only took her 25 minutes. I told her that I didn't think I got the full treatment, and she said that she was pressed for time because they had to close. Why lie, then?I won't be returning. Read Less

On the recommendation of a friend, I headed to Golden Nail for a pedicure.  When I arrived, I noticed that the salon was clean.  I was greeted immediately and had nearly zero wait time after picking out my nail polish color.  I was ushered back to a set of pedi chairs (about 6 or 8) and placed my feet in the water to soak.  The water temp was good.  My pedicurist was a nice man named Andy who took his time in scrubbing my feet (they can get pretty rough between pedis) and applying callous remover.  I was amazing at the amount of time they took with me -- a full 45 minutes -- given that the pedi was only $25!  I left with smooth, beautiful feet that will probably last for a while.  I will probably make Golden Nail my regular pedi place.By the way, I took away one star for ambiance and niceties.  They did not serve beverages -- which is customary at other salons -- and the chairs seemed like they were in need of a little repair (broken side trays and foot rests).  It did not take away from my experience at all, but it would have made things a little nicer as I did come in with a drink from Starbucks.
