Had a very good experience here today. Walked in and requested an acrylic pink & white fill and pedicure. They weren’t busy so the receptionist set me up with Lisa on my pedi and Kelly on my fill simultaneously. I really appreciated optimizing my time this way. Both ladies were pleasant and engaged in conversation with me. Which was a very pleasant surprise as I’ve been to many shops were the staff only talks with each other and not in English. People in the front were nice and so was the lady (I believe is the owner) who waxed by upper lip. Got a pedicure which came out okay. Not worth the price I paid. My complaint is with the set of SNS nails I got. My nail tech was Nick. He started doing my nails while I was sitting getting my pedicure. It was okay until we moved over to the tables where they actually do your nails. He became more chatty. Told me a story about someone getting caught with cocaine back home in an ipad or something like that (It was hard to understand and hear) and that they kill you over there for it. I kinda stopped listening after that and just started responding with "oh really" and "that sucks." Then we started talking about beaches and how he was from Houston. I asked how long he had been in Kyle and he said he moves around a lot because people complain about him and then they fire him. Told me that just yesterday someone called in to complain about sexual harassment. Honestly couldn't even understand what he said happened but to my surprise saw the post below. I am ALMOST sure he is talking about that situation. And if it is let me say to the poster, I am sorry that happened to you and especially in front of your little girl. I would have felt extremely uncomfortable myself. Back to the nails, he managed to get too close to THREE of my cuticles and made them bleed. I left with nail polish ON my fingertip. I didn’t even want to give this place 1 star. I got a pedicure there and it was a horrible experience... and not because of the pedicure itself. I had a male tech, who commented on a tattoo I had on my leg which was in honor of getting my first degree black belt. He asked me what kind of martial arts I did, I explained all of them when it came to the self defense he asked me so can you protect yourself from being raped? I was shocked my daughter was there with me and I wanted to make sure I heard him clearly... I said did you just ask if I can protect myself from being raped? He said yah raped while massaging my legs. I wanted to vomit... I was so uncomfortable and upset I just froze. I contacted the owner today and he pretty much told me he would speak with him and I could come back and get 50%off my next service!! REALLY? Like I would step foot in that establishment again. I do believe that this man should have the right to voice his side but an apology and you can come back??!! Wow. Sick. I realize in our area we don’t have many quality salons to choose from; how ever you should not have to get a pedicure wondering what his intentions are. The owner handled this situation poorly. First time visit. Was excited based on reviews. Very disappointed... Me & another lady waited 40+ mins for an simple eyebrow wax. The host told us both that it would only be 5 mins when we arrived. (We arrived at the same time). The other lady finally gets assistance & leaves. I'm left waiting in the back unattended for an additional 10 mins. When I look up to the front, the guy is helping someone else - he forgot about me! Seriously? Not to mention, at least 10 people passed by us waiting in the back and no one seemed to care or pay any attention.... Terrible customer service. I got up & left out of frustration. 45 mins of my time wasted. I could've gotten a pedicure & an eyebrow wax in that amount of time... No excuse for being treated this way! Read Less

This salon has the absolute worst service. I left with a pedicure that looked like I had done it myself. I sat in the chair getting a fill for 1 hour and 20 minutes because she couldn’t get the shape right. I was then late for work due to it, got told I could come back and get them re-done and they took my name and number down and completely lost it. My sister also got a pedicure and he was watching tv the whole entire time. Terrible service and the quality of work is terrible. Don’t recommend this salon at all, and won’t be coming back ever. My pedi was good. The girl who removed gel polish from fingernails did not remove it all then polished over it with clear. Of course, you can see it on several nails. I absolutely love this place, and refuse to go else where! The addition to the live music on Saturday, and Sundays makes it so fun. They have wine, margriatas, and now mimosas. I am very picky, and they are always willing to ask me what I think, and make any changes I request. I love their work, so have even suggested they do what they think would look cute, and I always love the outcome. I dont get to get my nails done often but anytime I can, i go here! Always feel super welcome, never really have to wait and the owner is super nice and always greets us. My mom and I are searching for a great nail place south of Austin, as both of us recently relocated to Buda. I was really wanting to love this place. They seem to have everything you would need. It’s very pretty inside, they have drinks and music. Unfortunately, we had very specific needs and spoke to the receptionist prior to getting anything done. We were told they could accommodate us. However, when it came time to actually do the work we requested, none of the technicians could do it and they all of a sudden didn’t have the supplies needed to do it! This place has terrible customer service. When they mess up they never take responsibility for it. They argue with you in front of everyone and try to embarrass you. I took the high road and didn't cuss them out, cut my losses and chalked it up to a lesson learned. I wish I could put more, I didn’t have any complaints about this place as I thought Mary had done a great job, even smudge my toe getting into the truck and she fixed it for me! It wasn’t until i found out my toe got Infected!!! A girlfriend and I went to get our nails done she got her pink & whites and I got a pedicure, and when the technician Mary she snipped too much on my big toe she stopped when I told her no more and it’s happened before at other places so no big deal I... thought, well it turned into a big deal when it started to have puss on it and was swollen and red! I went to the urgent Clinic after 2 days of puss and not getting any better with soaking in hot water and epson salt n antibiotic ointment. my normal doctor was booked until the following week and the urgent doctor said it’s definitely infected. So I went back to SpaRenity to show them what the doctor said and the owner tried to say it was a hangnail and it wasn’t infection, not once did he get to eye level to see it nothing! Didn’t care whatsoever just wanted me to leave. Very dissatisfied with their lack of customer Service especially as owners! The wife is definitely nicer and was willing to give me my money back until the husband came over and just said it’s a hangnail...sorry sir it’s not, I had the report in hand from the Kyle ER and no where on there does it say it’s a hangnail!! DO NOT GO!! Don’t stand behind their work!! Even with nails breaking within three days then having repairs and they break again!!!! They act like it’s your fault and they want you to pay OMG I’m not doing anything but a bit of grocery shopping. My kids are grown I don’t have tons of dishes or cleaning to do and I’m not working but they want to blame it on me!!! I had a pedicure this evening with Ethan and he did an amazing job. Very detail oriented and took his time. It’s rare that I find someone that I feel is good enough for me to write a review about but Ethan is awesome. When I shared this with the receptionist she told me that he is only there Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The place is nice. The service is horrible. My daughter spent quite a bit of her money there and came back with crooked, misshaped nails with the streakiest gel paint job I have ever seen. It turns out that the manager is the person who did her nails. Not only that, but the manager had just left and asked if we would not mind coming back the next day so that he did not have to "punish" any of the other nail techs by having them fix his mistakes without full pay. I have gone previously to get pedicures that where ok. On this occasion I went last minute because my regular nail tech was out this week . I went last Thursday right before leaving out of town on that Friday. The owner/manager took care of me. During the process intend to watch what they are doing to direct anything I like done. He kept telling me to look at the tv because I tightened my hands. Which i realized I was doing. So I tried not to look. When he finished applying the solar cream I told him the looked lumpy and he said he would fix it with the sanding machine. So I let him. He finished and they looked very thin and still wavy. He said it's solar your gonna be fine they last long blah blah blah. I left very uneasy cause even the nail polish looked crappy. but it was closing time and I had to finish packing. Friday comes around as I'm loading my luggage two nails just start popping off pieces. My mother and I have been going to SpaRenity in Kyle since its grand opening. The service is great and the atmosphere is relaxing. You are offered water, wine, margaritas, fruit cups, etc. If you intend on going during the weekend there will be a wait.
